मत्तय 13
The same day, Jesus having gone out of the house, sat by the sea-side;
2 २ तेव्हा लोकांचे समुदाय त्याच्याजवळ जमले; म्हणून तो मचव्यात जाऊन बसला व सर्व लोक किनार्‍यावर उभे राहिले.
but so great a multitude flocked about him, that he went into a bark, and sat down there, while all the people stood on the shore.
3 ३ मग त्याने त्यांना दाखल्यांनी पुष्कळ गोष्टी सांगितल्या तो म्हणाला “पाहा, पेरणारा पेरणी करावयास निघाला;
Then he discoursed to them of many things in parables.
The sower, said he, went out to sow; and, in sowing, some seeds fell by the way-side, and the birds came and picked them up:
some fell on rocky ground, where they had but little earth: these sprang up the sooner, because the soil had no depth:
but after the sun had beat upon them, they were scorched, and having no root, withered away.
Some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked them.
Others fell into good ground, and yielded increase, some a hundred, some sixty, some thirty fold.
Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.
Then the disciples addressed him, saying, Why do you speak to them in parables?
11 ११ त्याने त्यास उत्तर दिले, “स्वर्गाच्या राज्याची गुपीते जाणण्याचे दान तुम्हास दिले आहे, परंतु त्यांना दिलेले नाही.
He answering, said to them, Because it is your privilege, and not theirs, to know the secrets of the Reign of Heaven.
12 १२ कारण ज्या कोणाजवळ आहे त्यास दिले जाईल व त्यास भरपूर होईल; ज्या कोणाजवळ नाही त्याचे जे असेल ते देखील त्याच्यापासून काढून घेतले जाईल.
For to him that has, more shall be given, and he shall abound; but from him that has not, even that which he has shall be taken.
13 १३ यास्तव मी त्याच्याबरोबर दाखल्यांनी बोलतो; कारण ते पाहत असता पाहत नाहीत आणि ऐकत असता ऐकत नाहीत व त्यांना समजतही नाही.
For this reason I speak to them in parables; because they seeing, see not; and hearing, hear not, nor regard;
14 १४ यशयाचा संदेश त्याच्याविषयी पूर्ण होत आहे, तो असा की, तुम्ही ऐकाल तर खरे, परंतु तुम्हास समजणारच नाही, व पाहाल तर खरे, परंतु तुम्हास दिसणारच नाही;
insomuch that this prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled in them, "You will indeed hear, but will not understand; you will look, but will not perceive.
15 १५ कारण या लोकांचे अंतःकरण जड झाले आहे, ते कानानी मंद ऐकतात आणि त्यांनी डोळे मिटून घेतले आहेत; यासाठी की, त्यांनी डोळ्यांनी पाहू नये, कानांनी ऐकू नये, अंतःकरणाने समजून नये आणि वळू नये आणि मी त्यांना बरे करू नये.
For this people's understanding is stupefied, their ears are deafened, and their eyes they have closed; lest seeing with their eyes, hearing with their ears, and apprehending with their understanding, they should reform, and I should reclaim them."
But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.
17 १७ मी तुम्हास खरे सांगतो की, तुम्ही जे पाहत आहात ते पाहावयास पुष्कळ संदेष्टे व नीतिमान जन उत्कंठित होते, तरी त्यांना पाहण्यास मिळाले नाही; आणि तुम्ही जे ऐकता ते ऐकावयास ते उत्कंठित होते, तरी त्यांना ऐकण्यास मिळाले नाही.”
For, indeed, I say to you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see the things which you see, but have not seen them; and to hear the things which you hear, but have not heard them.
Understand you, therefore, the parable of the sower.
19 १९ वाटेवर पेरलेला तो हा आहे की, कोणी राज्याचे वचन ऐकतो पण ते त्यास समजत नाही, तेव्हा तो दुष्ट येऊन त्याच्या अंतःकरणात पेरलेले ते हिरावून घेतो;
When one hears the doctrine of the Reign, but considers it not, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which was sown in his heart. This explains what fell by the way-side.
That which fell on rocky ground, denotes him who, hearing the word, receives it at first with pleasure;
21 २१ परंतु त्यास मूळ नसल्याकारणाने तो थोडाच वेळ टिकतो आणि वचनामुळे संकट आले किंवा छळ झाला म्हणजे तो लागलाच अडखळतो.
yet, not having it rooted in his mind, retains it but a while; for when trouble or persecution comes, because of the word, instantly he relapses.
22 २२ काटेरी झाडामध्ये पेरलेला तो हा आहे की, तो वचन ऐकतो, परंतु संसाराची चिंता व द्रव्याचा मोह ही वचनाची वाढ खुंटवतात आणि तो निष्फळ होतो. (aiōn g165)
That which fell among thorns, denotes that hearer in whom worldly cares, and deceitful riches, choke the word, and render it unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
23 २३ चांगल्या जमिनीत पेरलेला तो हा आहे की, तो वचन ऐकून ते समजतो; तो फळ देतोच देतो; कोणी शंभरपट, कोणी साठपट, तर कोणी तीसपट असे देतो.
But that which fell into good soil, and bore fruit, some a hundred, some sixty, some thirty fold, denotes him, who not only hears and considers, but obeys the word.
24 २४ येशूने त्यांच्यापुढे दुसरा एक दाखला मांडला. “कोणी एका मनुष्याने आपल्या शेतात चांगले बी पेरले त्याच्यासारखे स्वर्गाचे राज्य आहे.
Another parable he proposed to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a field, in which the proprietor has sown good grain:
but while people were asleep, his enemy came, and sowed darnel among the wheat, and went off.
When the blade was up, and putting forth the ear, then appeared also the darnel.
27 २७ तेव्हा घरधन्याच्या दासांनी येऊन त्यास म्हटले, महाराज, आपण आपल्या शेतामध्ये चांगले बी पेरले ना? तर मग त्यामध्ये निदण कोठून आले?
And the servants came, and said to their master, Sir, you sowed good grain in your field; whence, then, has it darnel?
28 २८ तो त्यांना म्हणाला हे काम कोणा शत्रूचे आहे. दासांनी त्यास म्हटले, तर आम्ही जाऊन ते काढून टाकावे अशी आपली इच्छा आहे काय?
He answered, An enemy has done this. They said, Will you, then, that we weed them out?
He replied, No, lest in weeding out the darnel, you tear up the wheat.
30 ३० कापणीपर्यंत दोन्ही बरोबर वाढू द्या; मग कापणीच्या वेळेस मी कापणाऱ्यास सांगेन की, पहिल्याने निदण गोळा करा आणि जाळण्यासाठी त्याच्या पेढ्या बांधा; परंतु गहू मा‍झ्या कोठारात साठवा.”
Let both grow together until the harvest; and in the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, first gather the darnel, and make them into bundles for burning; then carry the wheat into my barn.
31 ३१ त्याने त्याच्यापुढे आणखी एक दाखला मांडला की, “स्वर्गाचे राज्य मोहरीच्या दाण्यासारखे आहे; तो कोणाएका मनुष्याने घेऊन आपल्या शेतात लावला;
Another similitude he proposed to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man planted in his field;
32 ३२ तो तर सर्व दाण्यामध्ये लहान आहे; तरी वाढल्यावर भाजीपाल्यापेक्षा मोठा होऊन त्याचे असे झाड होते की, आकाशातील पाखर त्याच्या फांद्यात वस्ती करतात.”
for though it is the smallest of seeds, when grown, larger than any herb, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air take the shelter in its branches.
33 ३३ त्याने त्यांना आणखी एक दाखला सांगितला की, “स्वर्गाचे राज्य खमिरासारखे आहे; ते एका स्त्रीने घेऊन तीन मापे पीठामध्ये लपवून ठेवले, तेणेकरून शेवटी ते सर्व पीठ फुगून गेले.”
Another similitude he gave them: The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman mingled in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
34 ३४ या सर्व गोष्टी येशूने दाखल्यानी लोकसमुदायाला सांगितल्या आणि दाखल्यावाचून तो त्याच्याबरोबर काही बोलला नाही;
All these similitudes Jesus spoke to the people; for he taught them only by similitudes;
35 ३५ यासाठी की, संदेष्ट्याच्याद्वारे जे सांगितले होते ते पूर्ण व्हावे; ते असे की, दाखले सांगायला मी आपले तोंड उघडीन; जगाच्या स्थापनेपासून गुप्त राहिलेल्या गोष्टी मी बोलून दाखवीन.
in this verifying the word of the Prophet, "I will discourse in parables; I will utter things concerning which, all antiquity has been silent."
36 ३६ नंतर तो लोकसमुदायास निरोप देऊन घरात गेला; तेव्हा त्याचे शिष्य त्याच्याकडे येऊन म्हणाले, शेतातल्या निदणाच्या दाखल्याची आम्हास फोड करून सांगा.
Then Jesus, leaving the multitude, retired to the house, where his disciples accosted him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the darnel in the field.
Jesus answering, said to them, He who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.
The field is the world; the good seed are the sons of the kingdom; and the darnel are the sons of the evil one;
39 ३९ ते पेरणारा शत्रू हा सैतान आहे; कापणीही युगाची समाप्ती आहे; आणि कापणारे हे देवदूत आहेत; (aiōn g165)
the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the conclusion of this state; and the reapers are the angels. (aiōn g165)
As, therefore, the darnel is gathered and burnt, so shall it be at the conclusion of this state. (aiōn g165)
41 ४१ मनुष्याचा पुत्र आपल्या देवदूतांना पाठवील आणि त्याच्या राज्यातून अडखळण करणाऱ्या सर्व वस्तू व अन्याय करणार्‍यांना जमा करील,
The Son of Man will send his angels who shall gather out of his kingdom all seducers and iniquitous persons,
and throw them into the burning furnace: weeping and gnashing of teeth shall be there.
Then shall the righteous shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears to hear let him hear.
44 ४४ स्वर्गाचे राज्य शेतात लपवलेल्या धनासारखे आहे, ती कोणाएका मनुष्यास सापडली आणि त्याने ती लपवून ठेवली. मग आनंदाच्या भरात त्याने जाऊन, आपले सर्वस्व विकले आणि ते शेत विकत घेतले.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hid in a field, which, when a man has discovered, he conceals the discovery, and for joy thereof, sells all that he has, and buys that field.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a pearl extremely precious, which a merchant, in quest of fine pearls,
having found, sold all that he had, and purchased it.
47 ४७ आणखी, स्वर्गाचे राज्य समुद्रात टाकलेल्या एखाद्या जाळ्यात सर्वप्रकारचे जीव एकत्र सापडतात त्यासारखे आहे;
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a sweep-net cast into the seam which incloses fish of every kind.
48 ४८ ते भरलेल्या मनुष्यांनी ते किनार्‍याकडे ओढले आणि बसून जे चांगले ते भांड्यात जमा केले, वाईट ते फेकून दिले.
When it is full, they draw it ashore, and gather the good into vessels, but throw the useless away.
So it shall be at the conclusion of this state. The angels will come and separate the wicked from among the righteous, (aiōn g165)
and throw them into the burning furnace. Weeping and gnashing of teeth shall be there.
Jesus said, Do you understand all these things? They answered, Yes, Master.
52 ५२ तेव्हा तो त्यांना म्हणाला, “प्रत्येक नियमशास्त्राचा शिक्षक जो स्वर्गाच्या राज्याचा शिष्य झाला आहे तो आपल्या भांडारातून नव्या जुन्या गोष्टी काढणार्‍या मनुष्यासारखा आहे.”
He added, Every scribe, therefore, instructed for the Reign of Heaven, is like a householder, who brings out of his storehouse new things and old.
And after he had finished these similitudes, he departed thence.
54 ५४ आणि स्वतःच्या गावी आल्यावर त्याने त्याच्या सभास्थानात त्यांना अशी शिकवण दिली की ते आश्चर्यचकित होऊन म्हणाले, हे ज्ञान व अद्भूत कृत्ये करण्याचे हे सामर्थ्य या मनुष्यास कोठून मिळते?
Jesus being come into his own country, taught the inhabitants in their synagogue; and they said with astonishment, Whence has this man this wisdom, and this power of working miracles?
55 ५५ हा सुताराचा पुत्र ना? याच्या आईला मरीया म्हणतात ना? याकोब, योसे, शिमोन व यहूदा, हे याचे भाऊ ना?
Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And do not his brothers, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas,
and all his sisters, live amongst us? Whence, then, has he all these things?
57 ५७ असे ते त्याच्याविषयी अडखळले. येशूने त्यास म्हटले, “संदेष्ट्याला आपला देश व आपले घर यामध्ये मात्र सन्मान मिळत नाही.”
Thus they were offended at him. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is no where disregarded, except in his own country, and in his own family.
And he did not many miracles there, because of their unbelief.
