And again Jesus entered into a synagogue. And there was a man there, whose hand was withered.
2 २ येशूवर आरोप करण्यासाठी कारण मिळावे म्हणून तो शब्बाथ दिवशी त्या मनुष्यास बरे करतो की काय हे पाहण्यासाठी ते त्याच्यावर बारकाईने नजर ठेवून होते.
And they watched him, that if he should heal on the sabbath, they might accuse him.
And he said to the man of the withered hand: Stand up in the midst.
4 ४ नंतर तो त्यांना म्हणाला, “शब्बाथ दिवशी चांगले करणे किंवा वाईट करणे, जीव वाचवणे किंवा जीवे मारणे यांतील कोणते योग्य आहे?” पण ते गप्प राहीले.
And he said also to them: Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath, or to do evil? to give life to a person, or to destroy? But they were silent
5 ५ मग त्याने त्यांच्या मनाच्या कठीणपणामुळे खिन्न होऊन त्या सर्वांकडे रागाने पहिले व त्या मनुष्यास म्हणाला, “तुझा हात लांब कर,” त्याने हात लांब केला आणि तो बरा झाला.
And he looked on them with indignation, being grieved with the hardness of their heart. And he said to the man: Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched forth, and his hand was restored.
6 ६ नंतर परूशी निघून गेले आणि लगेच त्यास जीवे मारणे कसे शक्य होईल याविषयी हेरोदीयांबरोबर येशूविरूद्ध कट करीत बसले.
And the Pharisees went out, that very hour, with the domestics of Herod, and held a consultation against him, how they might destroy him.
7 ७ मग येशू आपल्या शिष्यांसह सरोवराकडे निघून गेला आणि गालील व यहूदीया प्रांतातून मोठा लोकसमुदाय त्याच्या मागोमाग निघाला.
And Jesus retired with his disciples to the sea. And many people joined him from Galilee, and from Judaea,
8 ८ यरूशलेम शहर, इदोम प्रांत, यार्देने नदीच्या पलीकडच्या प्रदेशातून, सोर व सिदोन शहराच्या आसपासच्या प्रदेशातून मोठा समुदाय, जी मोठमोठी कामे तो करत होता त्याविषयी ऐकून त्याच्याकडे आला.
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan, and from Tyre, and from Sidon: great multitudes, when they heard all that he did, came to him.
And he told his disciples to bring him a ship, on account of the multitude, lest they should crowd upon him
10 १० कारण त्याने अनेक लोकांस बरे केले होते म्हणून ज्यांना रोग होते ते त्यास स्पर्श करण्यासाठी त्याच्या अंगावर पडत होते.
For he had healed many, so that they rushed upon him, in order to touch him.
11 ११ जेव्हा अशुद्ध आत्मे येशूला पाहत तेव्हा ते त्याच्यासमोर खाली पडून मोठ्याने ओरडत की, “तू देवाचा पुत्र आहेस!”
And they who were afflicted with unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down and cried out, and said: Thou art the Son of God.
And he charged them much, not to make him known.
13 १३ मग येशू डोंगरावर चढून गेला व त्यास जे शिष्य हवे होते? त्यांना त्याने स्वतःकडे बोलावले आणि ते त्याच्याकडे आले.
And he ascended a mountain, and called whom he pleased; and they came to him.
14 १४ तेव्हा त्याने बारा जणांची नेमणूक केली त्यांना त्याने प्रेषित हे नाव दिले. त्याने त्यांची यासाठी निवड केली की, त्यांनी त्याच्यासोबत असावे व त्यांना दुसऱ्या ठिकाणी उपदेश करण्यासाठी त्यास पाठवता यावे.
And he chose twelve to be with him, whom he would send out to preach,
and who would have power to heal the sick, and to cast out demons.
And to Simon he gave the name of Cephas.
17 १७ जब्दीचा मुलगा याकोब व याकोबाचा भाऊ योहान त्यांना त्याने बोआनेर्गेश, ज्याचा अर्थ गर्जनेचे पुत्र असा होतो हे नाव दिले.
And to James the son of Zebedee and to John the brother of James, he gave the name of Boanerges, that is, Sons of thunder.
And he chose also Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
And Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. And they came to the house:
and the multitude assembled again, so that they could not eat bread.
21 २१ त्याच्या कुटुंबातील लोकांनी याविषयी ऐकले तेव्हा ते त्यास धरावयास निघाले कारण त्यास वेड लागले असे त्यांचे म्हणणे होते.
And his kinsmen heard, and went out to take him; for they said: He is out of his reason.
22 २२ तसेच यरूशलेम शहराहून आलेले नियमशास्त्राचे शिक्षक म्हणत होते की, याच्यामध्ये बालजबूल आहे आणि त्या भुतांच्या अधिपतीच्या साहाय्याने हा भूते काढतो.
And those Scribes that had come down from Jerusalem, said: Beelzebub is in him; and by the prince of demons he expelleth demons.
23 २३ मग येशूने त्यांना आपणाजवळ बोलावून दाखल्याच्या साहाय्याने त्यांना सांगू लागला, “सैतान सैतानाला कसा काढील?
And Jesus called them, and said to them, by similitudes: How can Satan cast out Satan?
For if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26 २६ जर सैतान स्वतःलाच विरोध करू लागला आणि त्याच्यातच फूट पडली तर तो टिकू शकणार नाही, तर त्याचा शेवट होईल.
And if Satan rise up against himself and be divided, he cannot stand, but is at an end.
27 २७ खरोखर कोणालाही बलवान मनुष्याच्या घरात शिरून त्याची मालमत्ता लुटता येणार नाही. प्रथम त्या बलवान मनुष्यास बांधले पाहिजे, मगच त्याचे घर लुटता येईल.”
No one can enter the house of a strong man, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man; and then he may rob his house.
28 २८ मी तुम्हास खरे सांगतो की, “लोकांच्या पापांची व त्यांनी केलेल्या देवाच्या निंदेची त्यांना क्षमा होईल.
Verily I say to you: All sins, and the blasphemies that men may utter, may be forgiven them:
Because they had said: An unclean spirit is in him.
And his mother and his brothers came, and, standing without, sent to call him to them.
32 ३२ लोकसमुदाय येशूभोवती बसला होता, ते त्यास म्हणाले, “तुझी आई व तुझे भाऊ बाहेर तुझी वाट पाहत आहेत.”
And the multitude were sitting around him, and they said to him: Lo, thy mother and thy brothers, without, call for thee.
He replied, and said to them: Who is my mother? and who are my brothers?
And he looked upon those who sat by him, and said: Behold my mother! and, behold my brothers!
For whoever shall do the pleasure of God, he is my brother, and my sister, and my mother.
