1 १ आठवड्याच्या पहिल्या दिवशी, पहाटेस अंधारातच, मग्दालीया नगराची मरीया कबरेजवळ आली आणि कबरेच्या तोंडावरून धोंड काढली आहे असे तिने पाहिले.
On the first day of the week, very early, while it was still dark, Mary of Magdala came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from it.
2 २ तेव्हा शिमोन पेत्र व ज्याच्यावर येशूची प्रीती होती त्या दुसर्‍या शिष्याकडे धावत येऊन ती त्यांना म्हणाली, “त्यांनी प्रभूला कबरेतून काढून नेले आणि त्यास कोठे ठेवले हे आम्हास माहीत नाही.”
So she ran, as fast as she could, to find Simon Peter and the other disciple--the one who was dear to Jesus--and to tell them, "They have taken the Master out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have put Him."
Peter and the other disciple started at once to go to the tomb, both of them running,
4 ४ तेव्हा ते दोघे जण बरोबर धावत गेले; पण तो दुसरा शिष्य पेत्राच्या पुढे धावत गेला व कबरेजवळ प्रथम पोहचला.
but the other disciple ran faster than Peter and reached it before he did.
Stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths lying there on the ground, but he did not go in.
Simon Peter, however, also came, following him, and entered the tomb. There on the ground he saw the cloths;
7 ७ आणि तागाची वस्त्रे पडलेली व जो रुमाल त्याच्या डोक्याला होता तो त्या तागाच्या वस्त्रांजवळ नव्हे, तर वेगळा एकीकडे गुंडाळून ठेवलेला होता.
and the towel, which had been placed over the face of Jesus, not lying with the cloths, but folded up and put by itself.
Then the other disciple, who had been the first to come to the tomb, also went in and saw and was convinced.
For until now they had not understood the inspired teaching, that He must rise again from among the dead.
Then they went away and returned home.
Meanwhile Mary remained standing near the tomb, weeping aloud. She did not enter the tomb, but as she wept she stooped and looked in,
12 १२ आणि जेथे येशूचे शरीर आधी ठेवलेले होते तेथे ते शुभ्र वस्त्रे परिधान केलेले दोन देवदूत एक डोक्याकडील बाजूस आणि एक पायांकडील बाजूस बसलेले दिसले.
and saw two angels clothed in white raiment, sitting one at the head and one at the feet where the body of Jesus had been.
13 १३ आणि ते तिला म्हणाले, “मुली, तू का रडतेस?” ती त्यांना म्हणाली, “त्यांनी माझ्या प्रभूला नेले आणि त्यास कोठे ठेवले हे मला माहीत नाही.”
They spoke to her. "Why are you weeping?" they asked. "Because," she replied, "they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have put him."
While she was speaking, she turned round and saw Jesus standing there, but did not recognize Him.
15 १५ येशूने तिला म्हटले, “मुली, तू का रडतेस? तू कोणाला शोधतेस?” तो माळी आहे असे समजून त्यास म्हणाली, “साहेब, तू त्यास येथून नेले असेल तर कोठे ठेवलेस ते मला सांग म्हणजे मी त्यास घेऊन जाईन.”
"Why are you weeping?" He asked; "who are you looking for?" She, supposing that He was the gardener, replied, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him and I will remove him."
"Mary!" said Jesus. She turned to Him. "Rabboni!" she cried in Hebrew: the word means 'Teacher!'
17 १७ येशूने तिला म्हटले, “मला शिवू नकोस; कारण, मी अजून पित्याकडे वर गेलो नाही; तर माझ्या बांधवांकडे जाऊन, त्यांना सांग की, जो माझा पिता आणि तुमचा पिता, माझा देव आणि तुमचा देव आहे त्याच्याकडे मी वर जातो.”
"Do not cling to me," said Jesus, "for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But take this message to my brethren: 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"
18 १८ मग्दालीया नगराची मरीया गेली आणि आपण प्रभूला पहिल्याचे आणि त्याने आपल्याला या गोष्टी सांगितल्याचे तिने शिष्यांना कळविले.
Mary of Magdala came and brought word to the disciples. "I have seen the Master," she said. And she told them that He had said these things to her.
19 १९ त्या दिवशी, म्हणजे आठवड्याच्या पहिल्या दिवशी संध्याकाळी, शिष्य जेथे जमले होते तेथील दरवाजे यहूद्यांच्या भीतीमुळे बंद असता, येशू आत आला व मध्यभागी उभा राहून म्हणाला, “तुम्हास शांती असो.”
On that same first day of the week, when it was evening and, for fear of the Jews, the doors of the house where the disciples were, were locked, Jesus came and stood in their midst, and said to them, "Peace be to you!"
20 २० आणि हे बोलल्यावर त्याने त्यांना आपले हात आणि कूस दाखवली; आणि शिष्यांनी प्रभूला बघितले तेव्हा ते आनंदित झाले
Having said this He showed them His hands and also His side; and the disciples were filled with joy at seeing the Master.
21 २१ तेव्हा येशू त्यांना पुन्हा म्हणाला, “तुम्हास शांती असो. जसे पित्याने मला पाठवले आहे तसे मीहि तुम्हास पाठवतो.”
A second time, therefore, He said to them, "Peace be to you! As the Father sent me, I also now send you."
22 २२ एवढे बोलल्यावर त्याने त्यांच्यावर फुंकर टाकली आणि तो त्यांना म्हणाला, “पवित्र आत्म्याचा स्वीकार करा.
Having said this He breathed upon them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit.
23 २३ ज्या कोणाच्या पापांची तुम्ही क्षमा करता त्यांची क्षमा झाली आहे आणि ज्या कोणाची तुम्ही ठेवता ती तशीच ठेवलेली आहेत.”
If you remit the sins of any persons, they remain remitted to them. If you bind fast the sins of any, they remain bound."
Thomas, one of the twelve--surnamed 'the Twin' --was not among them when Jesus came.
25 २५ म्हणून दुसऱ्या शिष्यांनी त्यास सांगितले, “आम्ही प्रभूला पाहिले.” तेव्हा तो त्यांना म्हणाला, “मी त्याच्या हातात खिळ्यांची खूण बघितल्याशिवाय, खिळ्यांच्या जागी माझे बोट घातल्याशिवाय आणि त्याच्या कुशीत माझा हात घातल्याशिवाय मी विश्वास ठेवणारच नाही.”
So the rest of the disciples told him, "We have seen the Master!" His reply was, "Unless I see in his hands the wound made by the nails and put my finger into the wound, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe it."
26 २६ आणि पुन्हा, आठ दिवसानी, त्याचे शिष्य घरात होते आणि थोमा त्यांच्याबरोबर होता; आणि दरवाजे बंद असताना येशू आला व मध्यभागी उभा राहिला आणि म्हणाला, “तुम्हास शांती असो.”
A week later the disciples were again in the house, and Thomas was with them, when Jesus came--though the doors were locked--and stood in their midst, and said, "Peace be to you."
27 २७ मग तो थोमाला म्हणाला, “तुझे बोट पुढे कर आणि माझे हात बघ; तुझा हात पुढे कर आणि माझ्या कुशीत घाल; आणि विश्वासहीन होऊ नकोस पण विश्वास ठेवणारा हो.”
Then He said to Thomas, "Bring your finger here and feel my hands; bring you hand and put it into my side; and do not be ready to disbelieve but to believe."
"My Lord and my God!" replied Thomas.
29 २९ येशूने त्यास म्हटले, “तू मला पाहिले आहे म्हणून विश्वास ठेवला आहे. पाहिल्यावांचून विश्वास ठेवणारे आहे ते धन्य!”
"Because you have seen me," replied Jesus, "you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
There were also a great number of other signs which Jesus performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not recorded in this book.
31 ३१ पण ही ह्यासाठी लिहिली आहेत की, येशू हा देवाचा पुत्र ख्रिस्त आहे, असा तुम्ही विश्वास ठेवावा आणि तुम्ही विश्वास ठेवल्याने तुम्हास त्याच्या नावात जीवन मिळावे.
But these have been recorded in order that you may believe that He is the Christ, the Son of God, and that, through believing, you may have Life through His name.
