यिर्मया 33
1 १ नंतर यिर्मया पहारेकऱ्यांच्या अंगणात अजूनही बंदीस्त असता त्याच्याकडे दुसऱ्यांदा परमेश्वराचे वचन आले. ते म्हणाले,
Moreover Yahweh’s word came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was still locked up in the court of the guard, saying,
2 २ परमेश्वर जो हे करतो, परमेश्वर जो हे स्थापित करण्यासाठी योजितो, परमेश्वर हे त्याचे नाव आहे, तो असे म्हणतो,
“Yahweh who does it, Yahweh who forms it to establish it—Yahweh is his name, says:
‘Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know.’
4 ४ कारण परमेश्वर, इस्राएलाचा देव, नगराची घरे व यहूदाच्या राजाची घरे वेढ्याच्या उतरंडीमुळे व तलवारीमुळे पडले आहे याविषयी म्हणत आहे.
For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says concerning the houses of this city and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are broken down to make a defense against the mounds and against the sword:
5 ५ खास्दी लढाईस येत असताना ज्या लोकांस मी आपल्या क्रोधाने आणि कोपाने ठार केले तेव्हा त्यांच्या सर्व दुष्टतेमुळे मी आपले मुख या नगरापासून लपविले आहे त्यांच्या मृतदेहाने जी घरे भरली.
‘While men come to fight with the Chaldeans, and to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have killed in my anger and in my wrath, and for all whose wickedness I have hidden my face from this city,
6 ६ पण पाहा, मी या नगराला आरोग्य आणि उपचार आणून देईन. कारण मी त्यांना बरे करीन आणि शांतीची व सत्यतेची विपुलता त्यांना देईन.
behold, I will bring it health and healing, and I will cure them; and I will reveal to them abundance of peace and truth.
I will restore the fortunes of Judah and Israel, and will build them as at the first.
8 ८ मग त्यांनी ज्या अन्यायाने माझ्याविरूद्ध पाप केले त्या सर्वापासून मी त्यांना धुवून स्वच्छ करीन. मी त्यांनी ज्या आपल्या सर्व अन्यायाने माझ्याविरूद्ध पाप केले व ज्या सर्व मार्गाने त्यांनी माझ्याविरूद्ध बंड केले त्या सर्वांची मी त्यांना क्षमा करीन.
I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against me. I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned against me and by which they have transgressed against me.
9 ९ कारण हे नगर पृथ्वीतल्या सर्व राष्ट्रांसमोर मला आंनदाचे नाव, स्तुतीचे गीत, सन्मानास कारण असे होईल. त्यांचे सर्व हित मी करीन ते ती ऐकतील आणि जे सर्व हित व जे सर्व कुशल मी त्यांना प्राप्त करून देईन त्यावरून ती भयभीत होतील व थरथर कापतील.
This city will be to me for a name of joy, for praise, and for glory, before all the nations of the earth, which will hear all the good that I do to them, and will fear and tremble for all the good and for all the peace that I provide to it.’”
10 १० परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, या स्थानाविषयी तुम्ही आता म्हणता की हे ओसाड आहे. तेथे यहूद्याच्या नगरात कोणी माणसे व प्राणी नाहीत आणि यरूशलेमेचे रस्ते निर्जन झाले आहेत, माणसे व पशू नाहीत.
Yahweh says: “Yet again there will be heard in this place, about which you say, ‘It is waste, without man and without animal, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without animal,’
11 ११ तेथे पुन्हा आनंद व हर्षाचा शब्द ऐकू येईल. नवऱ्याची व नवरीची वाणी ऐकू येईल, कारण परमेश्वर चांगला आहे. त्याची दया सर्वकाळची आहे. असे म्हणून जे परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरात उपकारस्तुतीचे अर्पण आणतील त्यांचा आवाज पुन्हा ऐकू येईल. कारण मी देशाचा बंदिवास परत उलटवून सुरुवातीला जसे होते तसे करीन, असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who say, ‘Give thanks to Yahweh of Armies, for Yahweh is good, for his loving kindness endures forever;’ who bring thanksgiving into Yahweh’s house. For I will cause the captivity of the land to be reversed as at the first,” says Yahweh.
12 १२ सेनाधीश परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, या निर्जन स्थानात, जेथे आता मनुष्य व प्राणी कोणीही नाही. त्यातल्या सर्व नगरात कळप बसविणाऱ्या मेंढपाळांची वस्ती पुन्हा होईल.
Yahweh of Armies says: “Yet again there will be in this place, which is waste, without man and without animal, and in all its cities, a habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.
13 १३ डोंगराळ प्रदेशातील नगरात, मैदानातील नगरात, आणि दक्षिणप्रदेशातील नगरात, बन्यामिनाच्या देशात, यरूशलेमेच्या सभोवतालच्या प्रदेशात व यहूदाच्या नगरात, व नेगेबातील प्रदेशात मोजदाद करणाऱ्याच्या हाती पुन्हा कळप जातील, असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
In the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, in the cities of the South, in the land of Benjamin, in the places around Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, the flocks will again pass under the hands of him who counts them,” says Yahweh.
14 १४ परमेश्वराचे असे म्हणणे आहे, पाहा! असे दिवस येत आहेत जे मी इस्राएल आणि यहूदाच्या घराण्यासाठी जे वचन दिले आहे ते मी करीन.
“Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that I will perform that good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and concerning the house of Judah.
15 १५ त्या दिवसात आणि त्यावेळी मी दावीदासाठी धार्मिकतेची शाखा वाढवीन आणि ती देशात न्याय आणि धार्मिकता चालवील.
“In those days and at that time, I will cause a Branch of righteousness to grow up to David. He will execute justice and righteousness in the land.
16 १६ त्या दिवसात यहूदाचे तारण होईल आणि यरूशलेम सुरक्षित राहील. कारण तिला परमेश्वर आमची धार्मिकता आहे या नावाने बोलवतील.
In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell safely. This is the name by which she will be called: Yahweh our righteousness.”
17 १७ कारण परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “इस्राएलाच्या घराण्याच्या सिंहासनावर बसणाऱ्यांची उणीव दावीदाला कधीच पडणार नाही.
For Yahweh says: “David will never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel.
18 १८ तसेच माझ्यासमोर होमार्पणे अर्पिणारा, अन्नार्पणाचा यज्ञ करणारा व नित्य यज्ञ करणारा यांची लेवीय याजकास उणीव पडणार नाही.”
The Levitical priests won’t lack a man before me to offer burnt offerings, to burn meal offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.”
Yahweh’s word came to Jeremiah, saying,
20 २० परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “जर तू दिवस आणि रात्र या विषयीचा जो माझा करार तुमच्याने मोडवेल यासाठी की, दिवस आणि रात्र आपापल्या योग्यवेळी होऊ नयेत म्हणून,
“Yahweh says: ‘If you can break my covenant of the day and my covenant of the night, so that there will not be day and night in their time,
21 २१ तर माझा सेवक दावीद याच्याशी जो करार आहे तोही मोडून जाईल यासाठी की त्यास त्याच्या सिंहासनावर राज्य करायला मुलगा होऊ नये आणि माझी सेवा करणारे लेवी जे याजक त्यांच्याशी जो करार आहे तोही मोडून जाईल.
then my covenant could also be broken with David my servant, that he won’t have a son to reign on his throne; and with the Levitical priests, my ministers.
22 २२ ज्याप्रमाणे आकाशातील सैन्य मोजू शकत नाही आणि जसे समुद्रकाठच्या वाळूचे मापन होऊ शकत नाही. त्याप्रमाणे माझा सेवक दावीद याच्या वंशजांना आणि जे लेवी माझी सेवा करतात त्यांनाही मी बहुगुणित करीन.”
As the army of the sky can’t be counted, and the sand of the sea can’t be measured, so I will multiply the offspring of David my servant and the Levites who minister to me.’”
Yahweh’s word came to Jeremiah, saying,
24 २४ “हे लोक जे काय बोलले, ते तू ऐकलेस लक्षात घेतले नाहीस, ते म्हणतात की, जी दोन घराणी परमेश्वराने निवडली ती त्यांना सोडून दिले आहेत काय? याप्रकारे त्यांच्या दृष्टीने पुन्हा राष्ट्र होऊ नये असे ते माझ्या लोकांस तुच्छ लेखतात.”
“Don’t consider what this people has spoken, saying, ‘Has Yahweh cast off the two families which he chose?’ Thus they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.”
25 २५ परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “जर माझा दिवस व रात्र याविषयीचा माझा करार अढळ नाही किंवा मी जर आकाशाचे आणि पृथ्वीचे नियम स्थापिले नाहीत,
Yahweh says: “If my covenant of day and night fails, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth,
26 २६ तर याकोबाची संतती व माझा सेवक दावीद याच्या संततीचा मी त्याग करीन आणि दावीदाच्या संततीपैकी कोणी अब्राहाम, इसहाक व याकोब याच्या संततीवर सत्ता चालविण्यास ठेवणार नाही; कारण मी त्यांचा बंदिवास उलटवीन व त्याजवर दया करीन.”
then I will also cast away the offspring of Jacob, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his offspring to be rulers over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; for I will cause their captivity to be reversed and will have mercy on them.”
