यिर्मया 31
At that time, an affirmation of Jehovah, I am for God to all families of Israel, And they — they are to Me for a people.
2 २ परमेश्वर असे म्हणतोः “मी इस्राएलास विसावा देण्यास येईन तेव्हा जे कोणी तलवारीपासून निभावले आहेत त्या लोकांस रानात अनुग्रह मिळेल.”
Thus said Jehovah: Found grace in the wilderness Hath a people remaining from the sword Going to cause it to rest — Israel.
3 ३ परमेश्वर पूर्वी मला दिसला व म्हणाला, हे इस्राएला, मी सार्वकालिक प्रीतीने, तुझ्यावर प्रीती केली आहे. म्हणून मी विश्वासाच्या कराराने तुला आपल्याजवळ ओढून घेतले आहे.
From afar Jehovah hath appeared to me, With love age-during I have loved thee, Therefore I have drawn thee [with] kindness.
4 ४ हे इस्राएलाच्या कुमारी, मी तुला पुन्हा बांधीन याकरिता तू बांधलेली होशील. तू पुन्हा आपल्या खंजिऱ्या उचलशील आणि आनंदाने नृत्य करीत बाहेर जाशील.
Again do I build thee, And thou hast been built, O virgin of Israel, Again thou puttest on thy tabrets, And hast gone out in the chorus of the playful.
5 ५ तू पुन्हा शोमरोनाच्या डोंगरावर द्राक्षमळ्यांची लागवड करशील. शेतकरी लागवड करतील आणि त्याच्या फळांचा चांगला उपयोग होईल.
Again thou dost plant vineyards In mountains of Samaria, Planters have planted, and made common.
6 ६ असा एक दिवस येईल की, त्यामध्ये एफ्राईमाच्या डोंगरावरील पहारेकरी ओरडून सांगतील. उठा, आपण परमेश्वर आपला देव याच्याकडे वर सियोनेला जाऊ.
For there is a day, Cried have watchmen on mount Ephraim, 'Rise, and we go up to Zion, unto Jehovah our God;
7 ७ परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “याकोबासाठी आनंदाचा गजर करा! राष्ट्रांतील प्रमुख लोकांसाठी आनंदाने जयघोष करा! ऐकू येईल अशी स्तुती करा. म्हणा, ‘हे परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या लोकांचे, इस्राएलाच्या वाचलेल्यांचे तारण कर.’
For thus said Jehovah: Sing, O ye to Jacob, [with] joy, And cry aloud at the head of the nations, Sound ye, praise ye, and say, Save, O Jehovah, thy people, the remnant of Israel.
8 ८ पाहा, मी त्यांना उत्तरेकडच्या देशातून आणीन, पृथ्वीच्या अगदी शेवटच्या ठिकाणाहून मी त्यांना एकत्र करीन. त्यांच्यामध्ये आंधळे आणि पंगू, गर्भवती आणि ज्या कोणी त्यांच्या प्रसूतीची वेळ आली असेल त्याही त्यांच्याबरोबर असतील. त्यांची मोठी मंडळी इकडे परत येईल.
Lo, I am bringing them in from the north country, And have gathered them from the sides of the earth, Among them [are] blind and lame, Conceiving and travailing one — together, A great assembly — they turn back hither.
9 ९ ते रडत येतील. ते विनंती करत असता मी त्यास नेईन, मी त्यांना सरळ मार्गाने पाण्याच्या प्रवाहाजवळ नेईन. ते त्यावर अडखळणार नाहीत. कारण मी इस्राएलाचा पिता आहे, आणि एफ्राईम माझा प्रथम जन्मलेला आहे.
With weeping they come in, And with supplications I bring them, I cause them to go unto streams of waters, In a right way — they stumble not in it, For I have been to Israel for a father, And Ephraim — My first-born [is] he.
10 १० राष्ट्रांनो, परमेश्वराचे वचन ऐका. दूरच्या द्वीपात हे प्रसिद्ध करा. तुम्ही राष्ट्रांनी म्हणावे, ज्याने इस्राएल विखरला तोच त्यास एकवटील आणि जसा मेंढपाळ आपल्या कळपाला राखतो तसा तो त्यास राखील.
Hear a word of Jehovah, O nations, And declare ye among isles afar off, and say: He who is scattering Israel doth gather him, And hath kept him as a shepherd [doth] his flock,
11 ११ कारण परमेश्वराने खंडणी भरून याकोबाला सोडवले आहे आणि त्याच्यासाठी जो खूप बलवान होता त्याच्या हातातून त्यास मुक्त केले आहे.
For Jehovah hath ransomed Jacob, And redeemed him from a hand stronger than he.
12 १२ मग ते येतील आणि सियोनेच्या शिखरावर आनंदाने गातील. परमेश्वराच्या चांगुलपणामुळे धान्यासाठी आणि द्राक्षरसासाठी, तेलासाठी, आणि थवा व कळपांची संततीसाठी आनंदित होऊन येतील. त्यांचा जीव भरपूर पाणी दिलेल्या बागेप्रमाणे होईल. यापुढे ते पुन्हा कधी दुःखीत होणार नाहीत.
And they have come in, And have sung in the high place of Zion, And flowed unto the goodness of Jehovah, For wheat, and for new wine, and for oil, And for the young of the flock and herd, And their soul hath been as a watered garden, And they add not to grieve any more.
13 १३ मग कुमारी आनंदीत होऊन नाचतील आणि तरुण व वृद्ध एकत्र आनंद करतील. कारण मी त्यांच्या शोकाचे रुपांतर उत्सवामध्ये करीन. मी त्यांच्यावर दया करीन आणि दुःखाच्याऐवजी त्यांच्या आनंदाचे कारण होईल.
Then rejoice doth a virgin in a chorus, Both young men and old men — together, And I have turned their mourning to joy, And have comforted them, And gladdened them above their sorrow,
14 १४ नंतर मी याजकांचा जीव विपुलतेत तृप्त करीन. माझे लोक ते स्वतःला माझ्या चांगुलपणाने भरतील.” असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
And satisfied the soul of the priests [with] fatness, And My people with My goodness are satisfied, An affirmation of Jehovah.
15 १५ परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “रामांत विलाप आणि अतिखेदाचे रडण्याचे आवाज ऐकू येत आहेत. राहेल आपल्या मुलांसाठी रडत आहे. ती नाहीत म्हणून सांत्वन पावत नाही.”
Thus said Jehovah, A voice in Ramah is heard, wailing, weeping most bitter, Rachel is weeping for her sons, She hath refused to be comforted for her sons, because they are not.
16 १६ परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, तू रडण्यापासून आपला आवाज आणि आपले डोळे आसवांपासून आवर. कारण तुझ्या दुःखाचे प्रतिफळ तुला मिळेल. असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो. तुझी मुले शत्रूंच्या देशातून परत येतील.
Thus said Jehovah: Withhold thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears, For there is a reward for thy work, An affirmation of Jehovah, And they have turned back from the land of the enemy.
And there is hope for thy latter end, An affirmation of Jehovah, And the sons have turned back [to] their border.
18 १८ खचीत मी एफ्राईमाला असे रडताना ऐकले आहे की, ‘तू मला शिक्षा केलीस आणि मला शिक्षा झाली. अप्रशिक्षीत वासराप्रमाणे मला परत माघारी आण आणि मी परत येईन, कारण परमेश्वरा, तू माझा देव आहेस.
I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself, 'Thou hast chastised me, And I am chastised, as a heifer not taught, Turn me back, and I turn back, For thou [art] Jehovah my God.
19 १९ कारण मी तुझ्यापासून भटकल्यानंतर, मी पश्चाताप केला. मला शिक्षण मिळाल्यानंतर, मी दुःखात आपल्या छातीवर थापा मारल्या. कारण माझ्या तरुणपणातील अपराधाच्या अपकीर्तीमुळे मी लज्जित व शरमिंदा झालो.”
For after my turning back I repented, And after my being instructed I struck on the thigh, I have been ashamed, I have also blushed, For I have borne the reproach of my youth.
20 २० एफ्राईम माझे बहुमूल्य मुल नाही काय? तो माझा प्रिय मोहक मुलगा नाही का? कारण जरी कधी मी त्याच्याविरुध्द बोललो, तरी खचित मी त्यास आपल्या मनात प्रेमाने आठवण करीतच असतो. याप्रकारे माझे हृदय त्याच्यासाठी कळवळते. मी खरोखर त्याच्यावर दया करीन. असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
A precious son is Ephraim to Me? A child of delights? For since My speaking against him, I do thoroughly remember him still, Therefore have My bowels been moved for him, I do greatly love him, An affirmation of Jehovah.
21 २१ तू आपल्यासाठी रस्त्यांवर खुणा कर. तू आपल्यासाठी मार्गदर्शक खांब ठेव. तू जो योग्य मार्ग घेतला, त्या मार्गावर आपले लक्ष ठेव. हे इस्राएला! कुमारी, तू आपल्या नगराकडे परत ये.
Set up for thee signs, make for thee heaps, Set thy heart to the highway, the way thou wentest, Turn back, O virgin of Israel, Turn back unto these thy cities.
22 २२ विश्वासहीन मुली, तू किती वेळ सतत हेलकावे घेशील? कारण परमेश्वराने पृथ्वीवर काहीतरी नवे निर्माण केले आहे. स्त्री तिच्या रक्षणासाठी बलवान पुरुषाला घेरील.
Till when dost thou withdraw thyself, O backsliding daughter? For Jehovah hath prepared a new thing in the land, Woman doth compass man.
23 २३ सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, इस्राएलाचा देव, असे म्हणतो, “जेव्हा मी लोकांस परत त्यांच्या देशात आणीन, यहूदाच्या नगरांत व देशात राहणारे ते हे म्हणतील, ‘तुझी धार्मिकतेची जागा जेथे तो राहतो, तू पवित्र पर्वता, परमेश्वर तुझे कल्याण करो!
Thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, Still they say this word in the land of Judah, And in its cities, In My turning back [to] their captivity, Jehovah doth bless thee, habitation of righteousness, Mountain of holiness.
24 २४ कारण यहूदा आणि त्याची सर्व नगरे एकत्र राहतील. तेथे शेतकरी आणि मेंढपाळ त्याच्या कळपाबरोबर राहतील.
And dwelt in Judah have husbandmen, and in all its cities together, And they have journeyed in order.
For I have satiated the weary soul, And every grieved soul I have filled.'
On this I have awaked, and I behold, and my sleep hath been sweet to me.
27 २७ परमेश्वराचे म्हणणे असे आहे. “पाहा, असे दिवस येत आहेत की ज्यात मी यहूदाच्या व इस्राएलाच्या घराण्यांत मनुष्यबीज आणि पशुबीज पेरीन.
Lo, days are coming, an affirmation of Jehovah, And I have sown the house of Israel, And the house of Judah, With seed of man, and seed of beast.
28 २८ मग असे होईल की, उपटायला व पाडायला, मोडायला व नाशाला, व पीडायला जशी मी त्यांच्यावर नजर ठेवत असे, तशी बांधायला व लावायला मी त्यांच्यावर नजर ठेवीत जाईन.” असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
And it hath been, as I watched over them to pluck up, And to break down, and to throw down, And to destroy, and to afflict; So do I watch over them to build, and to plant, An affirmation of Jehovah.
29 २९ “त्या दिवसात कोणीही पुन्हा असे म्हणणार नाहीत की, वडिलाने आंबट द्राक्षे खाल्ली, पण मुलांचे दात आंबले आहेत.
In those days they do not say any more: Fathers have eaten unripe fruit, And the sons' teeth are blunted.
30 ३० कारण प्रत्येक मनुष्य आपल्या स्वतःच्या अन्यायात मरेल. जो प्रत्येकजण आंबट द्राक्षे खाईल, त्याचेच दात आंबतील.”
But — each for his own iniquity doth die, Every man who is eating the unripe fruit, Blunted are his teeth.
31 ३१ परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, पाहा, असे दिवस येत आहेत की, “मी इस्राएलाच्या व यहूदाच्या घराण्याशी नवा करार करीन.
Lo, days are coming, an affirmation of Jehovah, And I have made with the house of Israel And with the house of Judah a new covenant,
32 ३२ मी त्यांच्या वडीलांबरोबर मिसर देशातून बाहेर काढून आणण्यासाठी त्यांचा हात धरला तेव्हा जो करार केला होता त्याप्रमाणे हा असणार नाही. त्या दिवसात जरी मी त्यांच्यासाठी पती होतो तरी त्यांनी माझ्या कराराचा भंग केला.” असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
Not like the covenant that I made with their fathers, In the day of My laying hold on their hand, To bring them out of the land of Egypt, In that they made void My covenant, And I ruled over them — an affirmation of Jehovah.
33 ३३ “पण परमेश्वर म्हणतो, त्यादिवसानंतर जो करार मी इस्राएलाच्या घराण्याबरोबर करीन तो हाच आहे.” “मी आपले नियमशास्त्र त्यांच्या अंतर्यांमात ठेवीन व त्यांच्या हृदयावर मी ते लिहीन, कारण मी त्यांचा देव होईन व ते माझे लोक होतील.
For this [is] the covenant that I make, With the house of Israel, after those days, An affirmation of Jehovah, I have given My law in their inward part, And on their heart I do write it, And I have been to them for God, And they are to me for a people.
34 ३४ नंतर परमेश्वरास ओळखा असे म्हणून पुढे प्रत्येक मनुष्य आपल्या शेजाऱ्याला किंवा प्रत्येक आपल्या भावाला शिकवणार नाही. कारण लहानापासून थोरापर्यंत मला ओळखतील.” असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो. “कारण मी त्यांच्या अन्यायांची त्यांना क्षमा करीन आणि मी त्यांच्या पापांचे स्मरण ठेवणार नाही.”
And they do not teach any more Each his neighbour, and each his brother, Saying, Know ye Jehovah, For they all know Me, from their least unto their greatest, An affirmation of Jehovah; For I pardon their iniquity, And of their sin I make mention no more.
35 ३५ परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, जो परमेश्वर दिवसा प्रकाशण्यासाठी सूर्य देतो आणि रात्री चंद्र व तारे यांना प्रकाशण्याची तजवीज करतो. जो समुद्रास खवळतो या करीता त्याच्या लाटा गर्जतात त्यांना तो शांत करतो. सेनाधीश परमेश्वर असे त्याचे नाव आहे. तो असे म्हणतो.
Thus said Jehovah, Who is giving the sun for a light by day, The statutes of moon and stars for a light by night, Quieting the sea when its billows roar, Jehovah of Hosts [is] His name:
36 ३६ “जर या स्थिर गोष्टी माझ्या दृष्टीपुढून नष्ट झाल्या तर इस्राएलाचे वंशजही माझ्यासमोर सर्वकाळ राष्ट्र म्हणून राहणार नाहीत.”
If these statutes depart from before Me, An affirmation of Jehovah, Even the seed of Israel doth cease From being a nation before Me all the days.
37 ३७ परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, जर फक्त उंचात उंच आकाशाचे मोजमाप करणे शक्य असेल, आणि जर फक्त पृथ्वीच्या खालचे पाये शोधून काढता येऊ शकतील, तर मीही इस्राएलाच्या सर्व वंशजांनी जे सर्व काही केले आहे त्यामुळे त्यांना नाकारीन, असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
Thus said Jehovah: If the heavens above be measured, And the foundations of earth below searched, Even I kick against all the seed of Israel, For all that they have done, An affirmation of Jehovah.
38 ३८ “पाहा असे दिवस येत आहेत की; असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो, परमेश्वरासाठी हनानेलाच्या बुरुजापासून कोपऱ्याच्या वेशीपर्यंत हे नगर पुन्हा बांधले जाईल.
Lo, days [are coming], an affirmation of Jehovah, And the city hath been built to Jehovah, From the tower of Hananeel to the gate of the corner.
And gone out again hath the measuring line Over-against it, unto the height of Gareb, And it hath compassed to Goah.
40 ४० प्रेतांचे व राखेचे पूर्ण खोरे आणि किद्रोन ओहोळापर्यंत पूर्वेकडील घोडेवेशीच्या कोपऱ्यापर्यंत सर्व शेते परमेश्वरास पवित्र होतील. ती पुन्हा कधीही उपटण्यात येणार नाहीत किंवा मोडून टाकणार नाहीत.”
And all the valley of the carcases and of the ashes, And all the fields unto the brook Kidron, Unto the corner of the horse-gate eastward, [Are] holy to Jehovah, it is not plucked up, Nor is it thrown down any more to the age!
