यशया 63
1 १ जो अदोमाहून येत आहे, जो लाल वस्रे घातलेला बस्राहून येत आहे, तो कोण आहे? जो राजेशाही वस्त्रे असलेला, जो त्याच्या महान शक्तीमुळे आत्मविश्वासाने कूच करीत आहे, तो कोण आहे? जो न्यायीपणाने बोलणारा, आणि तारायला सामर्थ्य आहे, तो मीच आहे.
Who is this that cometh from Edom, with deep-red garments from Bozrah, this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? — I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
— Wherefore is redness in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winevat?
3 ३ “मी एकट्यानेच द्राक्षकुंड तुडवले आहे आणि राष्ट्रांतील कोणी माझ्याबरोबर नव्हता. मी आपल्या रागाने त्यांना तुडवले आणि आपल्या क्रोधाने त्यांना रगडले. त्यांचे रक्त माझ्या कपड्यांवर उडाले आणि माझी सर्व कपडे मळीन झाली आहेत.
I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples not a man was with me; and I have trodden them in mine anger, and trampled them in my fury; and their blood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all mine apparel.
For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed had come.
5 ५ मी पाहिले आणि मला मदत करण्यासाठी कोणीही नव्हते. कोणीही मदतीला नाही म्हणून मला आश्चर्य वाटले. परंतू माझ्याच बाहूने माझ्यासाठी विजय दिला आणि माझ्याच रागाने मला वर नेले.
And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: and mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
6 ६ माझ्या रागात मी लोकांस पायाखाली तुडवले आणि त्यांना माझ्या रागात मस्त केले आणि त्यांचे रक्त मी पृथ्वीवर उडवले.
And I have trodden down the peoples in mine anger, and made them drunk in my fury; and their blood have I brought down to the earth.
7 ७ मी परमेश्वराच्या कराराचा विश्वासूपणा आणि त्याची प्रशंसनीय कृत्ये सांगेन. परमेश्वराने आम्हांसाठी जे सर्व केले आणि इस्राएलाच्या घराण्याचे जे हित केले ते मी सांगेन. त्याच्या करुणामुळेच ही दया त्याने आम्हांला दाखवली आहे.
I will record the loving-kindnesses of Jehovah, the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah hath bestowed upon us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel which he hath bestowed upon them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving-kindnesses.
8 ८ कारण तो म्हणाला, खचित हे माझे लोक आहेत, मुले, जी विश्वासघातकी नाहीत. म्हणून तो त्यांचा त्राता झाला.
And he said, They are indeed my people, children that will not lie; and he became their Saviour.
9 ९ त्यांच्या सर्व दु: खात, तो पण दु: खी झाला आणि त्याच्या समक्षतेच्या दुतांने त्यांना तारले. त्याने आपल्या प्रेमाने व आपल्या करूणेने त्यांना वाचवले, आणि त्याने सर्व पुरातन दिवसात त्यांना उचलून वाहून नेले.
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the Angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them and carried them all the days of old.
10 १० पण त्यांनी बंड केले आणि त्याच्या पवित्र आत्म्याला खिन्न केले. म्हणून तो त्यांचा शत्रू झाला आणि त्यांच्याविरुद्ध लढला.
But they rebelled and grieved his holy Spirit: and he turned to be their enemy; himself, he fought against them.
11 ११ त्याच्या लोकांनी मोशेच्या प्राचीन काळाविषयी विचार केला. ते म्हणाले, तो देव कोठे आहे? ज्याने आपल्या कळपाच्या मेंढपाळांसोबत त्यांना समुद्रातून वर आणले, देव कोठे आहे? ज्याने आपला पवित्र आत्मा त्यांच्यामध्ये घातला
But he remembered the days of old, Moses [and] his people: Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he that put his holy Spirit within him,
12 १२ ज्याने आपले वैभवशाली सामर्थ्य मोशेच्या उजव्या हाताने पुढे नेले, आणि ज्याने आपणास सार्वकालिक नाव करायला त्यांच्यापुढे समुद्र दुभागला, तो देव कोठे आहे?
his glorious arm leading them by the right hand of Moses, dividing the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name,
13 १३ तो देव कोठे आहे? ज्याने त्यांना खोल समुद्रामधून चालवत नेले, जसा घोडा सपाट जमिनीवर धावत सुटतो, तसे ते अडखळले नाहीत.
— who led them through the depths, like a horse in the wilderness, [and] they stumbled not?
14 १४ परमेश्वराने त्यांना खोऱ्यात उतरत जाणाऱ्या गुरांप्रमाणे विसावा दिला. ह्याप्रमाणे तू लोकांस मार्गदर्शन केलेस आणि ह्यासाठी की तुझे प्रतापी होवो.
As cattle go down into the valley, the Spirit of Jehovah gave them rest; so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.
15 १५ स्वर्गातून खाली पाहा आणि तुझ्या पवित्र व तेजोमय वस्तीतून नोंद घे. तुझा आवेश आणि तुझी महतकृत्ये कोठे आहेत? तुझी करुणा आणि दयाळू कृती आमच्याकडून ठेवल्या आहेत
Look down from the heavens, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory! Where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy tender mercies? Are they restrained toward me?
16 १६ तू तर आमचा पिता आहेस, तरी अब्राहाम आम्हास ओळखत नाही आणि इस्राएलाला आम्ही माहीत नाही. परमेश्वरा, तू आमचा पिता, सर्वकाळपासून आम्हांला खंडून घेणारा, हे तुझे नाव आहे.
For thou art our Father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, Jehovah, art our Father; our Redeemer, from everlasting, is thy name.
17 १७ परमेश्वरा, तू आम्हास तुझ्यापासून मार्गातून का बहकू देतोस आणि तुझ्या आज्ञा न पाळाव्यात म्हणून तू आमचे हृदये कठीण का करतोस? तुझ्या सेवकाकरिता परत ये, जे तुझ्या वतनाचे वंश आहेत.
Why, O Jehovah, hast thou made us to err from thy ways, hast hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
18 १८ तुझी माणसे थोडाच वेळ तुझे पवित्र स्थान ताब्यात घेतील, पण आमच्या शत्रूंनी तुझे पवित्र मंदिर पायाखाली तुडवले.
Thy holy people have possessed [it] but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.
19 १९ त्या लोकांसारखे आम्ही झालो, ज्यांच्यावर तू कधीच राज्य केले नाही आणि ज्याना तुझे नाव दिले गेले नाही.
We have become [like those] over whom thou never barest rule, those not called by thy name.
