यशया 35
The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad thereat; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the lily.
2 २ ते विपुलतेने बहरेल आणि हर्ष व गायन करून आनंद करतील; त्यास लबानोनाचे वैभव, कर्मेल व शारोन याचे सौदर्य दिले जाईल; ते परमेश्वराचे गौरव, आमच्या देवाचे सौदर्य पाहतील.
It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice, yea, with joy and singing; the glory of the Lebanon shall be given unto it, the elegance of Carmel and Sharon; they indeed shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.
Strengthen ye weak hands, and stumbling knees make ye firm.
4 ४ जे भिणाऱ्या हृदयाचे आहेत त्यांना म्हणा, “सामर्थ्यवान व्हा, भिऊ नका;” पाहा, तुमचा देव अपेक्षेपेक्षा मोठ्या प्रमाणात, देवाच्या भरपाईसह येईल. तो येईल आणि तुमचा उद्धार करील.
Say to the timid of heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God, [with] vengeance will he come, with God's recompense; it is he who will come and save you.
Then shall the eyes of the blind be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6 ६ नंतर लंगडे हरणाप्रमाणे उड्या मारील आणि मुक्याची जीभ गाणे गाईल. अराबाहून पाण्याचे झरे आणि निर्जन प्रदेशातून पाण्याचे प्रवाह वाहतील.
Then shall the lame leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing; for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and brooks in the desert.
7 ७ मृगजले तलाव आणि तहानलेली जमीन पाण्याचे झरे होईल; कोल्हे राहण्याच्या जागी जेथे ते एकदा निजले, त्या जागी बोरू व लव्हाळे ह्यांसहीत गवत उगवेल.
And the sandy waste shall be changed into a pool, and the thirsty land into springs of water: in the habitation of monsters, where each one used to lie, shall be a court for reeds and rushes.
8 ८ तेथील महामार्गाला पवित्रतेचा मार्ग असे म्हणतील. अशुद्ध त्यामध्ये चालणार नाहीत. परंतु जे त्याच्यावर चालतील तो त्यांच्यासाठी आहे, कोणी मूर्ख त्याच्यावरून जाणार नाही.
And there shall be a highway and a way, and The holy way, shall it be called; no unclean one shall pass over it; but it shall be [only] theirs; the wayfaring man, and those unacquainted [therewith], shall not go astray.
9 ९ तेथे सिंह नसतील, हिंस्त्र श्वापदे त्यावर चढणार नाहीत; ते तेथे सापडणार नाहीत, परंतु तेथे उद्धारलेले चालतील.
No lion shall be there, and no ravenous beast shall go up thereon, shall not be found there; but there shall walk the redeemed:
10 १० परमेश्वराने खंडून घेतलेले माघारी येतील आणि ते सियोनात गायन करीत आणि त्यांच्या मस्तकावर सदासर्वकाळ असणारा आनंद राहील; आनंदाने व हर्षांने ते भरून जातील; दु: ख आणि शोक दूर पळून जातील.
And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with song, with everlasting joy upon their head; gladness and joy shall they obtain, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
