होशेय 9
1 १ हे इस्राएला, इतर लोकांसारखा आनंद करु नको, कारण तू आपल्या देवाला सोडून अविश्वासू झाला आहेस, तुला प्रत्येक खळ्यावर व्यभिचाराचे वेतन आवडते.
Rejoice not, O Israel for ioy as other people: for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God: thou hast loued a rewarde vpon euery corne floore.
The floore, and the wine presse shall not feede them, and the newe wine shall faile in her.
3 ३ ते परमेश्वराच्या देशात राहणार नाहीत, त्याशिवाय एफ्राईम मिसरात परत जाईल, आणि एके दिवशी ते अश्शूरात अमंगळ पदार्थ खातील.
They wil not dwel in the Lordes lande, but Ephraim will returne to Egypt, and they will eate vncleane things in Asshur.
4 ४ ते परमेश्वरास द्राक्षरसाचे पेयार्पणे देणार नाही, व ते त्यास प्रसन्न करु शकणार नाहीत, त्यांचे बलीदान त्यांच्यासाठी शोकाची भाकर होईल जे ते खातील ते अशुद्ध होतील, कारण त्यांचे भोजन त्यांच्यापुरतेच असेल, ते परमेश्वराच्या मंदीरात आणता येणार नाही.
They shall not offer wine to the Lord, neither shall their sacrifices be pleasant vnto him: but they shall be vnto them as the bread of mourners: al that eate thereof, shalbe polluted: for their bread for their soules shall not come into the house of the Lord.
What wil ye do then in the solemne day, and in the day of the feast of the Lord?
6 ६ कारण पहा, जर ते नाशापासून वाचले तर, मिसर त्यांना एकत्र करील आणि मोफ त्यांना मुठमाती देईल, वन्य झाडे त्यांचे सोने, रुपे मिळवतील आणि त्यांचे डेरे काट्यांनी भरून जातील.
For loe, they are gone from destruction: but Egypt shall gather them vp, and Memphis shall burie them: the nettle shall possesse the pleasant places of their siluer, and the thorne shall be in their tabernacles.
7 ७ शासन करण्याचे दिवस येत आहेत, प्रतिफळाचे दिवस येत आहेत, इस्राएल हे जाणणार, तुझ्या महापातकामुळे, वैरभावामुळे आता संदेष्टा मूर्ख बनला आहे.
The daies of visitation are come: the daies of recompence are come: Israel shall knowe it: the Prophet is a foole: the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquitie: therefore the hatred is great.
8 ८ संदेष्टा जो माझ्या देवासोबत आहे, तो एफ्राईमाचा रखवालदार आहे, पण तो आपल्या सर्व मार्गात पारध्याचा पाश आहे आणि त्यामध्ये देवाच्या घराविषयी वैरभाव भरलेला आहे.
The watchman of Ephraim shoulde bee with my God: but the Prophet is the snare of a fouler in all his waies, and hatred in the House of his God.
9 ९ गिबात घडलेल्या गोष्टींच्या वेळी झाले त्यासारखा त्यांनी अती भ्रष्टाचार केला आहे. देव त्यांच्या अधर्माची आठवण करून त्यांना त्यांच्या पापासाठी शासन करणार आहे.
They are deepely set: they are corrupt as in the daies of Gibeah: therefore he will remember their iniquitie, he will visite their sinnes.
10 १० परमेश्वर म्हणतो, मला इस्राएल जेव्हा आढळला तेव्हा तो रानात द्राक्ष मिळाल्यासारखा होता, अंजीराच्या हंगामातल्या प्रथम फळासारखे तुमचे पुर्वज मला आढळले पण ते बआल-पौराकडे आले आणि लज्जास्पद मूर्तीस त्यांनी आपणास वाहून घेतले ते त्यांच्या मूर्तीसारखे घृणास्पद झाले.
I found Israel like grapes in the wildernes: I saw your fathers as the first ripe in the figge tree at her first time: but they went to Baal-Peor, and separated themselues vnto that shame, and their abominations were according to their louers.
Ephraim their glorie shall flee away like a birde: from the birth and from the wombe, and from the conception.
12 १२ जरी त्यांच्या मुलांचे पालन पोषण होऊन ती मोठी झाली तरी मी ते हिरावून घेणार यासाठी की त्यामध्ये कोणी राहू नये. मी त्यांच्यापासून वळून जाईल तेव्हा त्यांच्यावर हाय हाय!
Though they bring vp their children, yet I will depriue them from being men: yea, woe to them, when I depart from them.
13 १३ मी एफ्राईमास पाहिले तेव्हा तो मला सोरासारखा, कुरणात लावलेल्या रोपटयासारखा दिसला पण तरी तो आपल्या मुलास बली देणाऱ्या मनुष्यासारखा होऊन जाईल.
Ephraim, as I sawe, is as a tree in Tyrus planted in a cottage: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murtherer.
14 १४ त्यास दे, परमेश्वरा, त्यास काय देशील? त्यांना गर्भपात करणारे गर्भाशय व सुकलेले स्तन त्यांना दे.
O Lord, giue them: what wilt thou giue them? giue them a baren wombe and drie breasts.
15 १५ कारण त्यांची सर्व अधमता गिल्गालात आहे, तेथेच मला त्यांच्याविषयी द्वेष निर्माण झाला. त्यांच्या पापकृत्यामुळे मी माझ्या घरातून त्यांना हाकलणार त्यांच्यावर प्रेम करणार नाही कारण त्यांचे सर्व अधिकारी बंडखोर आहेत.
All their wickednesse is in Gilgal: for there doe I hate them: for the wickednesse of their inuentions, I will cast them out of mine House: I will loue them no more: all their princes are rebels.
16 १६ एफ्राईम रोगी आहे त्यांचे मूळ सुकून गेले आहे, त्यास फळ येणार नाही, त्यांना जरी मुले झाली तरी मी त्यांची प्रिय मुले मारून टाकीन.
Ephraim is smitten, their roote is dried vp: they can bring no fruite: yea, though they bring foorth, yet will I slaie euen the dearest of their bodie.
My God will cast them away, because they did not obey him: and they shall wander among the nations.
