1 १ याजकांनो! हे ऐका, इस्राएलाच्या घराण्या लक्ष दे, हे राजघराण्या ऐक, तुम्हा सगळ्यांचा न्याय होणार आहे तुम्ही मिस्पावर पाश आणि ताबोरावर पसरलेले जाळे झाले आहात.

“Hear this, O priests! Take heed, O house of Israel! Give ear, O royal house! For this judgment is against you because you have been a snare at Mizpah, a net spread out on Tabor.

2 २ बंडखोर खोल कत्तलीत राहतात पण मी त्या सर्वांना शिस्त लावेन.

The rebels are deep in slaughter; but I will chastise them all.

3 ३ एफ्राईम मला माहित आहे आणि इस्राएल माझ्यापासून लपलेला नाही. एफ्राईम तू एका वेश्येसारखा झाला आहेस, इस्राएल अशुद्ध झाला आहे.

I know all about Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from Me. For now, O Ephraim, you have turned to prostitution; Israel is defiled.

4 ४ त्यांचे कृत्य त्यांना माझ्याकडे त्यांच्या देवाकडे परत येऊ देत नाही, कारण त्यामध्ये व्यभिचारी आत्मा राहतो; आणि ते आपला देव परमेश्वर यास ओळखत नाहीत.

Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God, for a spirit of prostitution is within them, and they do not know the LORD.

5 ५ इस्राएलाचा गर्व त्याचाच विरोधात साक्ष देतो, इस्राएल व एफ्राईम आपल्या अपराधात ठेचाळणार, आणि यहूदा सुध्दा त्यांच्या सोबत अडखळेल.

Israel’s arrogance testifies against them; Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity; even Judah stumbles with them.

6 ६ ते परमेश्वराचा शोध आपली मेंढरे व गुरे घेऊन करतील, परंतू तो त्यांना सापडणार नाही, कारण त्याने त्यांचा त्याग केला आहे.

They go with their flocks and herds to seek the LORD, but they do not find Him; He has withdrawn Himself from them.

7 ७ ते परमेश्वराशी अविश्वासू राहिले; कारण त्यांनी अनैरस मुलांना जन्मास घातले आता चंद्रदर्शन होताच त्यास भूमीसहीत खाऊन टाकेन.

They have been unfaithful to the LORD; for they have borne illegitimate children. Now the New Moon will devour them along with their land.

8 ८ गिबात शिंग आणि रामात तुतारी फुंका; तुझ्यामागे, हे बन्यामिना! असा रणशब्द बेथ अविन येथे करा.

Blow the ram’s horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah; raise the battle cry in Beth-aven: Lead on, O Benjamin!

9 ९ शासनाच्या दिवशी एफ्राईम नाश पावेल, इस्राएलाच्या वंशास मी खात्रीने होणारी गोष्ट कळवली आहे.

Ephraim will be laid waste on the day of rebuke. Among the tribes of Israel I proclaim what is certain.

10 १० यहूदाचे पुढारी सिमेचा दगड सारणाऱ्यासारखे आहेत, मी माझा राग त्यांच्यावर पाण्यासारखा ओतणार.

The princes of Judah are like those who move boundary stones; I will pour out My fury upon them like water.

11 ११ एफ्राईमाचा चुराडा झाला आहे, न्यायामध्ये त्याचा चुराडा झाला आहे, कारण त्याने मनापासून मूर्त्यांना दंडवत करण्याचे ठरवले आहे.

Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, for he is determined to follow worthless idols.

12 १२ ह्यास्तव मी एफ्राईमाला कसर आणि यहूदाच्या घराण्यास किडीसारखा होईन.

So I am like a moth to Ephraim, and like decay to the house of Judah.

13 १३ जेव्हा एफ्राईमाने आपला रोग आणि यहूदाने आपली जखम पाहिली तेव्हा एफ्राईम अश्शूराकडे गेला, आणि आपला दूत त्याने महान राजाकडे पाठविला; पण तो त्यास आरोग्य देऊन त्यांची जखम बरी करू शकला नाही.

When Ephraim saw his sickness and Judah his wound, then Ephraim turned to Assyria and sent to the great king. But he cannot cure you or heal your wound.

14 १४ हयास्तव मी एफ्राईमास सिंह आणि यहूदा घराण्यास तरुण सिंहासारखा होईन; मी, हो मीच त्यांना फाडून टाकीन व घेऊन जाईन, आणि त्यांना सोडविणारा कोणी नसेल.

For I am like a lion to Ephraim and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear them to pieces and then go away. I will carry them off where no one can rescue them.

15 १५ मी आपल्या स्थानी परत जाईन, जोपर्यंत ते आपल्या दोषांची कबुली देत नाहीत आणि माझे मुख शोधत नाहीत; जोपर्यंत ते आपल्या दु: खात कळकळीने माझा शोध घेऊन म्हणत नाहीत.

Then I will return to My place until they admit their guilt and seek My face; in their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”
