यहेज्केल 21
Then came the word of Yahweh unto me, saying:
2 २ मानवाच्या मुला आपले तोंड यरूशलेमेकडे कर आणि पवित्र ठिकाणा विषयी इस्राएलाच्या भूमी विरुध्द भविष्यवाणी कर.
Son of man Set thy face against Jerusalem, And drop thy word against the holy places And prophesy against the soil of Israel.
3 ३ इस्राएलाच्या भूमिला सांग, परमेश्वर देव म्हणतो; पाहा! मी तुझ्या विरुध्द आहे, मी शेथापासून आपली तलवार म्यानातून उपसून घेऊन तुझ्यापासून धर्मिकाला आणि दुर्जनाला वेगळे करीन.
Thou shalt say then to the soil of Israel Thus saith Yahweh, Behold me against thee, Therefore will I bring forth my sword out of its sheath, —and will cut off from thee the righteous and the lawless.
4 ४ माझ्या क्रमाने नीतिमान आणि दुर्जन तुझ्यापासून वेगळे करेन, माझी तलवार म्यानातून निघून शेथापासून सर्व जीवा विरूद्ध उत्तर दक्षिण भागात बाहेर पडेल
Because I have cut off from thee the righteous and the lawless, Therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from south to north:
5 ५ मग सर्व जीवांना कळेल मी परमेश्वर देव आहे. मी शेथा जवळ तलवार ठेवली आहे. ती परत म्यानात जाणार नाही.
So shall all flesh know that, I, Yahweh have brought forth my sword out of its sheath, — it shall not return any more.
Thou, therefore O son of man sigh, — In the sharp pain of thy loins and in bitterness, shalt thou sigh before their eyes.
7 ७ मग ते तुला विचारतील काय झाले? तू का विव्हळतोस? मग तू त्यांना सांग कारण अशी बातमी येत आहे, प्रत्येक हृदय क्षीण होईल, प्रत्येक हात अडखळेल आणि प्रत्येक गुडघा पाणी पाणी होईल, पाहा! असे घडून येत आहे आणि ते तसेच होईल “असे परमेश्वर देव जाहीर करीत आहे.”
And it shall come to pass when they shall say unto thee, Wherefore art thou sighing? that thou shalt say, For the report because it cometh, When every heart shall melt. And all hands be unnerved And every spirit shall become faint. And all knees shall be weak as water, Lo! it cometh and shall be brought to pass, Saith My Lord, Yahweh.
And the word of Yahweh came unto me. saying:
9 ९ मानवाच्या मुला, भाकीत कर आणि म्हण असे परमेश्वर देव सांगत आहे, तलवारीला धार लावा आणि त्यास चकाकीत करा.
Son of man, Prophesy and thou shalt say, Thus saith My Lord, — Say, A sword! a sword! Sharpened moreover also furbished:
10 १० मारुन टाकण्यासाठी हत्याराला धारधार करा; तिला चकाकीत करा; आमच्या पुत्राच्या राजदंडाचा आम्ही उत्सव करु? जी तलवार येईल ती सर्व दंडाला कमी लेखते.
To make a slaughter, is it sharpened, That it may flash as lightning, is it furbished. Or shall we flourish the royal rod of my son which despiseth every tree?
11 ११ मग तलवारीला चकाकीत होण्यासाठी सोपवून दिली, आणि मग आपल्या हातांनी जप्ती केली. तलवारीला धार लावली आणि चकाकीत केली ठार मारणाऱ्या पुरुषाच्या हाती दिली.
It hath. however been given to be furbished that it may be grasped by the hand: The same is a sword sharpened. Yea the same, is furbished, Ready to be given into the hand of the slayer.
12 १२ मानवाच्या मुला, मदतीसाठी हाक मार आक्रोश कर कारण ती तलवार माझ्या लोकांवर आली आहे, ती इस्राएलाच्या वडीलांवर आली आहे ज्याकडे तलवार भिरकावली, ते माझे लोक आहे त्यामुळे अतितीव्र दुःखाने आपली छातीपीट कर.
Make an outcry and howl son of man, For the same hath come against my people, the same is against all the princes of Israel, - Who are thrown to the sword with my people, Therefore smite thou upon thy thigh.
For trial hath been made, What then, even though the royal rod despiseth, shall it not be? Demandeth My Lord. Yahweh.
14 १४ आता तू मानवाच्या मुला, भाकीत कर आणि आपल्या दोन्ही हातांनी टाळी दे यास्तव तलवार तिसऱ्यांदा चालून येईन. ती तलवार अनेकांना ठार मारण्यास, सगळीकडे भेदून पार करण्यासाठी आहे.
Thou, therefore, son of man, Prophesy, and smite thy hands together, And let the sword smite twice thrice the sword of the slain! the same is the great sword of the slain, that which hemmeth them in.
15 १५ त्याच्या हृदयाचे पाणी पाणी होण्यास आणि अनेकांना अडखळण होण्यासाठी त्यांच्या वेशीवर ठार मारण्यासाठी तलवारी सिध्द केल्या आहे. आहाहा! तिला विजेसारखी चमकवली आहे, ती कसाई सारखी उपसली आहे.
That the heart may melt And the overthrow be multiplied at all their gates, I have recompensed a slaying by the sword: Surely it hath been made ready to flash like lightning, keen for slaughter.
One firm stroke to the right. Turn to the left, - Whithersoever thine edge is directed,
Yea even I myself, will smite my hands together, And will cause mine indignation to find rest, — I Yahweh, have spoken.
Then came the word of Yahweh unto me saying:
19 १९ आता तू मानवाच्या मुला बाबेलाच्या राजाची तलवार येण्यासाठी दोन मार्ग सिध्द कर, दोन्ही मार्गाची सुरुवात एकाच ठिकाणी होईल, दिशादर्शक दगड शहराकडे निर्देश करेल.
Thou, therefore son of man. Appoint thee two ways For the sword of the king of Babylon to enter, Out of one land shall those two ways come, — And a hand, engrave thou, At the head of the way to the city, engrave it.;
20 २० एका मार्गाला बाबेलाच्या सेन्यासाठी खुण करून ठेवा अम्मोनीच्या मुलाकडे राब्बा जवळ येण्यासाठी मार्ग सिध्द करा, दुसरी खुण यरूशलेमेच्या शहरा जवळ यहूदाच्या सेन्याकडे तट बंदीकडे निर्देश करा.
A way, shalt thou appoint, for the sword to enter. Even to Rabbah of the sons of Ammon, — And to Judah against Jerusalem, the defenced,
21 २१ वाडीत बाबेलचा राजा रस्ता ओलांडण्यासाठी थांबेल, भविष्यकथन मिळवून घेण्यासाठी तो काही बाण हलवून मूर्ती पासून मार्गदर्शन मागेल, काळजावरुन तो तपासणी करेल.
For the king of Babylon, hath come to a stand, At the parting of the way At the head of the two ways To divine a divination: He hath shaken with arrows He hath asked of the household gods, He hath inspected the liver.
22 २२ यरूशलेमेबद्दल पुढे घडून येणारी गोष्ट त्याच्या उजव्या हातात असेल, किल्ल्याचे दरवाजे फोडण्याचे हत्यार त्याविरूद्ध असेल, त्यांच्या तोंडातून मारण्याचा, युध्दाची ओरड! त्यासाठी हत्यार वेशीसाठी तयार केले, त्यासाठी मातीचे टेकाड बुरुज बांधावे.
On his right hand, hath come the divination—Jerusalem! To plant battering-rams To open a hole by breach To lift up the voice with a war-shout, — To plant battering-rams against the gates, To cast up an earth-work To build a siege-wall.
23 २३ पुढे घडून येणारी ती उपयोग हीन बाब दिसून येईल, यरूशलेमपैकी एक, ज्याच्याकडे तलवार व तोंडात बाबेलांची शपथ आहे. पण त्याच्या वेढ्याच्या पुढे राजा उल्लंघन करणारा तहाचा आरोप केला जाईल.
Though it will become to them a veritably false divination in their eyes, even when bound by oaths to them Yet, he, calling to mind iniquity, [will determine] that it shall be captured.
24 २४ यास्तव परमेश्वर देव हे सांगत आहे, कारण तुझे अपराध माझ्यापुढे स्मरण केले जाईल, तुझे अपराध प्रकट केले जातील; तुझी पापे तुझ्या सर्व कृतीतून दर्शीवीली जातील, यास्तव तू सर्वांच्या स्मरणात राहून आपल्या शत्रुच्या तावडीत सापडशील.
Therefore Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Because ye have brought to mind your iniquity, by revealing your transgressions causing your sins to appear in all your doings, - Because ye have brought yourselves to mind By force shall ye be captured.
25 २५ तू पवित्रते बद्दल अनादर दाखवला आणि दुष्ट इस्राएलचे शास्ते त्यांच्यावर शासन करण्याचा दिवस येत आहे, त्याने केलेल्या अपराधांचा समय संपला आहे.
Thou therefore, O profane, lawless one, prince of Israel, - Whose day hath come, in a time of final iniquity:
26 २६ प्रभू परमेश्वर देव हे सांगत आहे. आपल्या डोक्यावरील पगडी मुकुट बाजुला सारा, सर्व काही एक समान राहाणार नाही, जे उंचावलेले नमवले जातील आणि नम्र उंच केले जातील.
Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh, Remove the turban, And lift off the crown, — This not that, The abased, exalt, And the exalted, abase.
An overthrow overthrow overthrow, will I make it, — Even this, hath not befallen until the coming of One to whom belongeth the right Then will I bestow it.
28 २८ तर मग तू मानवाच्या मुला भाकीत कर आणि बोल; परमेश्वर देव हे सांगत आहे, अम्मोनच्या मुलांविषयी जो कलंक आहे तो त्यावर येत आहे. तलवार उचलली आहे ती अधाशीपणे ठार मारण्यासाठी तेजधार केली आहे ती विजेप्रमाणे चकाकत आहे.
Thou, therefore, son of man Prophesy and say, thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh, As to the sons of Ammon and as to their reproach Yea thou shalt say. A sword! a sword! Drawn for slaughter, Furbished, that when it beginneth, it may flash like lightning;
29 २९ ते तुझ्यापुढे कपटाचा संदेश देत असता, तुला खोटा शकुन सांगत असता, ज्या जखमी झालेल्या पातक्यांचा पापजन्य अंतसमय येऊन ठेपला आहे त्यांच्या कापलेल्या मानांवर ती तलवार तुला लोळवील.
Since they see for thee, false visions, Since they divine for thee lies, To stretch thee upon the necks of them who are the most profaned of lawless ones, Whose day hath come, in a time of final iniquity,
30 ३० तलवार म्यानात जाईल, तू ज्या ठिकाणी जन्मला तुझी जेथे सुरुवात झाली त्या भूमिवर मी तुझा न्याय करेन.
Put it back into its sheath! In the place where thou wast created In the land of thy nativity, will I judge thee
31 ३१ मी तुझ्यावर माझा कोपाग्नीचा संताप ओतेन आणि तुला क्रुर कोशल्याने हानी करण्यास लोकांच्या ताब्यात देईन.
Then will I pour out upon thee mine indignation, With the fire of mine outburst, will I blow upon thee; and will deliver thee up into the hand of brutish men, skilled to destroy.
32 ३२ तू अग्नीसाठी इंधन होशील; तुझे रक्त भूमिच्या मध्यभागी सांडले जाईल. तुझे स्मरण पुन्हा केले जाणार नाही. “मी परमेश्वर देव हे जाहीर करत आहे.”
For the fire, shalt thou serve as fuel, Thy blood shall be in the midst of the land, - Thou shalt not be remembered, For I, Yahweh, have spoken.
