निर्गम 34
1 १ मग परमेश्वर मोशेला म्हणाला, “पहिल्या दोन पाट्यांप्रमाणे आणखी दोन दगडी पाट्या घडून तयार कर म्हणजे फोडून टाकलेल्या पहिल्या पाट्यांवर जी वचने होती ती मी त्याच्यावर लिहीन.
And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Hew for thyself two tables of stone like the first, and I have written on the tables the words which were on the first tables which thou hast broken;
and be prepared at morning, and thou hast come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and hast stood before Me there, on the top of the mount,
3 ३ तुझ्याबरोबर कोणी चढून वर येऊ नये पर्वतावरील कोणत्याच ठिकाणी कोणी मनुष्य दिसू नये; तसेच शेरडेमेंढरे कळप व गुरेढोरे ह्यांना त्या पर्वताच्या पायथ्याशी चरू देऊ नकोस.”
and no man cometh up with thee, and also no man is seen in all the mount, also the flock and the herd do not feed over-against that mount.'
4 ४ तेव्हा मोशेने पहिल्या पाट्यांसारख्याच आणखी दोन दगडी पाट्या घडून तयार केल्या; सकाळीच उठून त्या हाती घेऊन परमेश्वराच्या आज्ञेप्रमाणे सीनाय पर्वतावर चढून गेला;
And he heweth two tables of stone like the first, and Moses riseth early in the morning, and goeth up unto mount Sinai, as Jehovah commanded him, and he taketh in his hand two tables of stone.
5 ५ तेव्हा मोशे पर्वतावर आल्यावर परमेश्वर एका ढगातून त्याच्याकडे खाली उतरला व तेथे त्याच्यापाशी उभा राहिला; आणि त्याने परमेश्वर या नावाची घोषणा केली.
And Jehovah cometh down in a cloud, and stationeth Himself with him there, and calleth in the Name of Jehovah,
6 ६ परमेश्वर त्याच्यापुढून अशी घोषणा करीत गेला: “परमेश्वर, परमेश्वर, दयाळू, कृपाळू देव, मंदक्रोध, दयेचा व सत्याचा सागर,
and Jehovah passeth over before his face, and calleth: 'Jehovah, Jehovah God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth,
7 ७ हजारो जणांवर दया करणारा, अन्याय, अपराध व पाप यांची क्षमा करणारा, पण अपराधी जनांची मुळीच गय न करणारा, असा तो वडिलांच्या दुष्टाईबद्दल पुत्रपौत्रांचा तिसऱ्या व चौथ्या पिढीपर्यंतही समाचार घेतो.”
keeping kindness for thousands, taking away iniquity, and transgression, and sin, and not entirely acquitting, charging iniquity of fathers on children, and on children's children, on a third [generation], and on a fourth.'
And Moses hasteth, and boweth to the earth, and doth obeisance,
9 ९ मग तो म्हणाला, “हे प्रभू, तुझी कृपादृष्टी जर माझ्यावर झाली असेल तर तू आमच्याबरोबर चालावे. हे लोक ताठ मानेचे आहेत हे मला माहीत आहे; तरी आमचा अन्याय व पाप यांची तू आम्हांला क्षमा कर आणि आपले वतन म्हणून आमचा स्वीकार कर.”
and saith, 'If, I pray Thee, I have found grace in Thine eyes, O my Lord, let my Lord, I pray Thee, go in our midst (for it [is] a stiff-necked people), and thou hast forgiven our iniquity and our sin, and hast inherited us.'
10 १० मग परमेश्वर म्हणाला, “पाहा, मी तुझ्या सर्व लोकांबरोबर हा करार करीत आहे; आतापर्यंत पृथ्वीवरील कोणत्याही राष्ट्रासाठी यापूर्वी कधीही केलेले नाहीत ते चमत्कार मी करीन; ज्या लोकांमध्ये तू राहशील ते सर्व लोक परमेश्वराची कृती पाहतील, कारण जे मी तुझ्याबरोबर करणार आहे ते भयानक आहे.
And He saith, 'Lo, I am making a covenant: before all thy people I do wonders, which have not been done in all the earth, or in any nation, and all the people in whose midst thou [art] have seen the work of Jehovah, for it [is] fearful that which I am doing with thee.
11 ११ मी आज तुला ज्या आज्ञा देतो त्या तू पाळ म्हणजे मग मी अमोरी, कनानी, हित्ती, परिज्जी, हिव्वी व यबूसी या लोकांस तुझ्यासमोरुन घालवून देतो.
'Observe for thyself that which I am commanding thee to-day: lo, I am casting out from before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite;
12 १२ सावध राहा, नाही तर तू ज्या देशात जात आहेस त्यामध्ये राहणाऱ्या लोकांबरोबर कोणत्याही प्रकारे करारमदार करशील आणि तो तुला पाश होईल.
take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land into which thou art going, lest it become a snare in thy midst;
for their altars ye break down, and their standing pillars ye shiver, and its shrines ye cut down;
14 १४ तू तर कोणत्याही दुसऱ्या देवाला नमन करू नये; कारण ज्याचे नाव ईर्ष्यावान असे आहे; तो परमेश्वर ईर्ष्यावान देव आहे.
for ye do not bow yourselves to another god — for Jehovah, whose name [is] Zealous, is a zealous God.
15 १५ तू सावध राहा. या देशातील रहिवाशाबरोबर कोणत्याही प्रकारचे करारमदार करू नको; ते व्यभिचारी मतीने आपल्या देवामागे लागून त्यांना बलिदान करतील. त्यातल्या कोणी तुला बोलावले असता तुम्ही त्यांच्या बलिदानातले काही खाल.
'Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land, and they have gone a-whoring after their gods, and have sacrificed to their gods, and [one] hath called to thee, and thou hast eaten of his sacrifice,
16 १६ त्यांच्या कन्यांची तुम्ही आपल्या पुत्रांसाठी पत्नी म्हणून निवड कराल; त्यांच्या कन्या व्यभिचारी मतीने आपल्या देवाच्यामागे जातील आणि त्या तुमच्या पुत्रांना व्यभिचारी बुध्दीने त्यांच्या नादी लावतील.
and thou hast taken of their daughters to thy sons, and their daughters have gone a-whoring after their gods, and have caused thy sons to go a-whoring after their gods;
a molten god thou dost not make to thyself.
18 १८ बेखमीर भाकरीचा सण पाळ, मी दिलेल्या आज्ञेप्रमाणे नेमलेल्या वेळी अबीब महिन्यातील सात दिवसपर्यंत तू बेखमीर भाकर खावी, कारण अबीब महिन्यात मिसर देशातून तू बाहेर निघालास.
'The feast of unleavened things thou dost keep; seven days thou dost eat unleavened things, as I have commanded thee, at an appointed time, the month of Abib: for in the month of Abib thou didst come out from Egypt.
19 १९ प्रत्येक प्रथम जन्मलेला माझा आहे; तसेच तुझ्या गुरांढोरापैकी गायीचे व मेंढराचे प्रथम जन्मलेले नरवत्स माझे आहेत.
'All opening a womb [are] Mine, and every firstling of thy cattle born a male, ox or sheep;
20 २० गाढवीचे पहिले शिंगरु खंडणी दाखल एक कोकरू देऊन सोडवून घ्यावे, पण त्यास तसे सोडवले नाही तर त्याची मान मोडावी. तुझ्या मुलांपैकी प्रत्येक ज्येष्ठ पुत्राला मोबदला देऊन सोडवून घ्यावा. कोणी रिकाम्या हाताने माझ्यासमोर येऊ नये.
and the firstling of an ass thou dost ransom with a lamb; and if thou dost not ransom, then thou hast beheaded it; every first-born of thy sons thou dost ransom, and they do not appear before Me empty.
21 २१ सहा दिवस तू आपले कामकाज कर, परंतु सातव्या दिवशी विसावा घे; नांगरणीच्या व कापणीच्या हंगामातही सातव्या दिवशी तू विसावा घे.
'Six days thou dost work, and on the seventh day thou dost rest; in ploughing-time and in harvest thou dost rest.
'And a feast of weeks thou dost observe for thyself; first-fruits of wheat-harvest; and the feast of in-gathering, at the revolution of the year.
'Three times in a year do all thy males appear before the Lord Jehovah, God of Israel;
24 २४ मी तर परराष्ट्रांना तुझ्यापुढून घालवून देईन; मी तुझ्या देशाच्या सीमा वाढवीन; आणि वर्षातून तीनदा तू आपला देव परमेश्वर ह्याच्यामोर हजर राहायला जाशील त्या वेळी तुझ्या देशाचा कोणीही लोभ धरणार नाही.
for I dispossess nations from before thee, and have enlarged thy border, and no man doth desire thy land in thy going up to appear before Jehovah thy God three times in a year.
25 २५ माझ्या यज्ञबलीचे रक्त खमिराच्या भाकरीबरोबर अर्पू नये; आणि वल्हांडण सणाच्या यज्ञपशूचे काहीही सकाळपर्यंत राहू देऊ नये.
'Thou dost not slaughter with a fermented thing the blood of My sacrifice; and the sacrifice of the feast of the passover doth not remain till morning:
26 २६ हंगामाच्या वेळी तुझ्या जमिनीच्या उत्पन्नातील प्रथम पिकाचा सर्वोत्तम भाग आपला देव परमेश्वर, ह्याच्या मंदिरात आणावा. करडू त्याच्या आईच्या दुधात शिजवू नये.”
the first of the first-fruits of the land thou dost bring into the house of Jehovah thy God; thou dost not boil a kid in its mother's milk.'
27 २७ मग परमेश्वर मोशेला म्हणाला, “ही वचने लिहून ठेव, कारण याच वचनांप्रमाणे मी तुझ्याशी व इस्राएल लोकांशी करार केला आहे.”
And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Write for thyself these words, for, according to the tenor of these words I have made with thee a covenant, and with Israel.'
28 २८ मोशे तेथे परमेश्वराजवळ चाळीस दिवस व चाळीस रात्री राहिला; त्या दिवसात त्याने अन्न खाल्ले नाही, आणि तो पाणीही प्याला नाही; आणि त्या पाट्यांवर परमेश्वराने कराराची वचने म्हणजे दहा आज्ञा लिहून ठेवल्या.
And he is there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; bread he hath not eaten, and water he hath not drunk; and he writeth on the tables the matters of the covenant — the ten matters.
29 २९ मग मोशे, साक्षपटाच्या त्या दोन पाट्या घेऊन सीनाय पर्वतावरून खाली उतरला; परमेश्वराशी बोलल्यामुळे त्याच्या चेहऱ्यातून तेजाचे किरण निघत आहेत ह्याचे त्यास भान नव्हते.
And it cometh to pass, when Moses is coming down from mount Sinai (and the two tables of the testimony [are] in the hand of Moses in his coming down from the mount), that Moses hath not known that the skin of his face hath shone in His speaking with him,
30 ३० अहरोन व सर्व इस्राएल लोक यांनी मोशेच्या चेहऱ्यावरील तेजस्वी किरणे पाहिली तेव्हा ते त्याच्याजवळ जायला घाबरले;
and Aaron seeth — all the sons of Israel also — Moses, and lo, the skin of his face hath shone, and they are afraid of coming nigh unto him.
31 ३१ परंतु मोशेने अहरोन व मंडळीचे प्रमुख ह्याना बोलावले, तेव्हा अहरोन व मंडळीचे प्रमुख त्याच्याकडे परत आले, तो त्यांच्याशी बोलू लागला.
And Moses calleth unto them, and Aaron and all the princes in the company return unto him, and Moses speaketh unto them;
32 ३२ त्यानंतर सर्व इस्राएल लोक जवळ आले आणि जे काही परमेश्वराने त्यास सीनाय पर्वतावर सांगितले होते ते सगळे त्याने त्यांना आज्ञा देऊन सांगितले.
and afterwards have all the sons of Israel come nigh, and he chargeth them with all that Jehovah hath spoken with him in mount Sinai.
And Moses finisheth speaking with them, and putteth on his face a vail;
34 ३४ जेव्हा कधीही मोशे परमेश्वराबरोबर बोलावयास त्याच्यासमोर आत जाई, तेव्हा तो बाहेर येईपर्यंत आपल्या चेहऱ्यावरील आच्छादन काढीत असे; मग तो इस्राएल लोकांकडे बाहेर येऊन परमेश्वर जी काही आज्ञा देई ती तो त्यांना सांगत असे.
and in the going in of Moses before Jehovah to speak with Him, he turneth aside the vail until his coming out; and he hath come out and hath spoken unto the sons of Israel that which he is commanded;
35 ३५ मोशेचा तेजाने तळपणारा चेहरा इस्राएल लोक पाहत तेव्हा तो पुन्हा आपला चेहरा झाकून घेई; आणि तो परमेश्वराकडे बोलावयास आत जाईपर्यंत तो आपला चेहरा झाकून ठेवत असे.
and the sons of Israel have seen the face of Moses that the skin of the face of Moses hath shone, and Moses hath put back the vail on his face until his going in to speak with Him.
