अनुवाद 1
1 १ यार्देन नदीच्या पूर्वेकडील रानात अराबामध्ये सुफासमोर, पारान, तोफेल, लाबान, हसेरोथ व दि-जाहाब यांच्या दरम्यान मोशे सर्व इस्राएलाशी वचने बोलला ती ही.
These [are] the words which he spoke Moses to all Israel on [the] other side of the Jordan in the wilderness in the desert plain opposite to Suph between Paran and between Tophel and Laban and Hazeroth and Di Zahab.
[is] one [plus] Ten day[s] from Horeb [the] way of [the] mountain of Seir to Kadesh Barnea.
3 ३ हे मिसर सोडल्यानंतर चाळीसाव्या वर्षी घडले, अकराव्या महिन्यातील पहिल्या दिवशी मोशे इस्राएल लोकांशी हे बोलला, परमेश्वराने जे काही सांगायची आज्ञा केली; ते सर्व त्याने सांगितले.
And it was in forty year in [the] one [plus] ten month on [day] one of the month he spoke Moses to [the] people of Israel according to all that he had commanded Yahweh him to them.
4 ४ अमोऱ्यांचा राजा सीहोन आणि बाशानाचा राजा ओग यांच्यावर परमेश्वराने हल्ला केल्यानंतरची ही गोष्ट आहे. (सीहोन अमोरी लोकांचा राजा होता. तो हेशबोनमध्ये राहत असे. ओग बाशानाचा राजा होता. तो अष्टारोथ व एद्रई येथे राहणारा होता.)
After had defeated he Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] who [was] dwelling in Heshbon and Og [the] king of Bashan who [was] dwelling in Ashtaroth in Edrei.
5 ५ परमेश्वराच्या आज्ञेप्रमाणे मोशे आता यार्देनच्या पलीकडे पुर्वेस मवाबाच्या देशात नियमांचे विवरण करू लागला. तो म्हणाला,
On [the] other side of the Jordan in [the] land of Moab he undertook Moses he made clear the law this saying.
Yahweh God our he spoke to us at Horeb saying [is] enough for you remaining at the mountain this.
7 ७ आता तुम्ही येथून अमोऱ्यांच्या डोंगराळ प्रदेशात जा आसपासच्या सर्व प्रदेशात प्रवास करा यार्देनेच्या खोऱ्यात, अराबाच्या पहाडी प्रदेशात, पश्चिमेकडील उतारावर, नेगेबमध्ये समुद्रकिनारी कनान आणि लबानोन मार्गे फरात या महानदीपर्यंत जा.
Turn - and set out for yourselves and go [the] hill country of the Amorite[s] and to all neighbors its in the desert plain in the hill country and in the Shephelah and in the Negev and on [the] coast of the sea [the] land of the Canaanite[s] and Lebanon to the river great [the] river of Euphrates.
8 ८ पाहा हा प्रदेश मी तुम्हास देऊ करत आहे जा आणि त्यावर ताबा मिळवा अब्राहाम, इसहाक आणि याकोब या तुमच्या पूर्वजांना व त्यांच्यानंतर त्यांच्या वंशजांना हा प्रदेश देण्याचे परमेश्वराने वचन दिले होते.
See I set before you the land go and take possession of the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors your to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob to give to them and to offspring their after them.
And I said to you at the time that saying not I am able to alone me to bear you.
10 १० आणि आता तर तुमची संख्या कितीतरी वाढली आहे परमेश्वर देवाच्या कृपेने ती वाढून आकाशातील ताऱ्यांइतकी झाली आहे.
Yahweh God your he has increased you and here you this day [are] like [the] stars of the heavens for multitude.
11 ११ तुमच्या पूर्वजांचा देव परमेश्वर, ह्याच्या कृपेने आणखी वाढून आताच्या हजारपट होवो आणि त्याने कबूल केल्याप्रमाणे त्याचा आशीर्वाद तुम्हास मिळो.
Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your may he add to you like you a thousand times and may he bless you just as he spoke to you.
How? will I bear to alone me burden your and burden your and dispute[s] your.
13 १३ म्हणून मी तुम्हास सांगितले, आपापल्या वंशातून अनुभवी, ज्ञानी व समंजस व्यक्तींची निवड करा. मी त्यांना तुमचे प्रमुख म्हणून नेमतो.”
Provide for yourselves men wise and understanding and known to tribes your so I may appoint them chiefs your.
And you answered me and you said [is] good the word which you have spoken to do.
15 १५ म्हणून मी त्या ज्ञानी व अनुभवी व्यक्तींना तुमचे प्रमुख म्हणून नेमले. हजारांच्या समूहावर एक अधिकारी, शंभरांवर एक, पन्नासांवर, दहावर तसेच घराण्यावर अशा या अधिकाऱ्यांच्या नेमणुका केल्या.
And I took [the] chiefs of tribes your men wise and known and I appointed them chiefs over you leaders of thousands and leaders of hundreds and leaders of fifties and leaders of tens and officials of tribes your.
16 १६ या न्यायाधीशांना मी त्यावेळी सांगितले की तुमच्या भाऊबंदांतील वाद नीट ऐकून घ्या. निवाडा करताना पक्षपात करू नका मग तो वाद दोन भावांमधला असो की एखादा मनुष्य व त्याचा भाऊबंद व उपरी यांच्यातील असो. नीतिने न्याय करा.
And I commanded judges your at the time that saying hear between countrymen your and you will judge righteousness between anyone and between countryman his and between sojourner his.
17 १७ न्याय करताना कोणालाही कमी लेखू नका. लहान मोठ्यांचे सारखे ऐकून घ्या. कोणाचे तोंड पाहून घाबरू नका; कारण न्याय करणे देवाचे काम आहे. एखादे प्रकरण तुम्हास विशेष अवघड वाटले तर ते माझ्याकडे आणा. मी त्याचा निवाडा करीन.
Not you will pay regard to faces in judgment as the small as the great you will listen! not you will be afraid of anyone for the judgment [belongs] to God it and the matter which it will be [too] hard for you you will bring near! to me and I will hear it.
And I commanded you at the time that all the things which you will do!
19 १९ मग आपला देव परमेश्वर ह्याच्या आज्ञेनुसार आपण होरेबहून पुढे अमोऱ्यांच्या डोंगराळ प्रदेशाकडे निघालो तेव्हा वाटेत तुम्हास ते विस्तीर्ण आणि भयंकर रान लागले ते सर्व ओलांडून आपण कादेश-बर्ण्याला पोहचलो.
And we set out from Horeb and we walked all the wilderness great and awesome that which you saw [the] way of [the] hill country of the Amorite[s] just as he had commanded Yahweh God our us and we came to Kadesh Barnea.
20 २० मी तुम्हास म्हणालो की पाहा, “अमोऱ्यांच्या पहाडी प्रदेशात तुम्ही पोहोचलात आपला देव परमेश्वर तुम्हास हा प्रदेश देत आहे.
And I said to you you have come to [the] hill country of the Amorite[s] which Yahweh God our [is] about to give to us.
21 २१ पाहा हा प्रदेश तुझा देव परमेश्वर याने पुढे ठेवला आहे. पूर्वजांचा परमेश्वर ह्याच्या आज्ञेनुसार तो हस्तगत करा. कचरू नका व कशाचीही भीती बाळगू नका.”
See he sets Yahweh God your before you the land go up take possession of [it] just as he spoke Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your to you may not you be afraid and may not you be dismayed.
22 २२ पण तेव्हा तुम्ही सगळे मला म्हणालात, “आधी आपण काही जणांना त्या प्रदेशाच्या पाहाणीसाठी पुढे पाठवू म्हणजे ते त्या देशाची माहिती मिळवून आपल्याला कोणत्या मार्गाने जावे लागेल, कोणकोणती नगरे तेथे लागतील याची खबर आणतील.”
And you drew near! to me all of you and you said let us send out men before us so they may spy out for us the land so they may bring back us word the way which we will go up on it and the cities which we will go to them.
And it was good in view my the thing and I took from you two [plus] ten men a man one to the tribe.
And they turned and they went up the hill country towards and they came to [the] wadi of Eshcol and they spied out it.
25 २५ येताना त्यांनी तिकडची काही फळे बरोबर आणली. त्या प्रदेशाची माहिती सांगितली व ते म्हणाले, “आपला देव परमेश्वर देत असलेला देश हा उत्तम आहे.”
And they took in hand their some of [the] fruit of the land and they brought [it] down to us and they brought back us word and they said [is] good the land which Yahweh God our [is] about to give to us.
And not you were willing to go up and you rebelled toward [the] mouth of Yahweh God your.
27 २७ तुम्ही आपापल्या तंबूत जाऊन कुरकुर करत म्हणालात परमेश्वर आमचा द्वेष करतो अमोऱ्यांच्या हातून आमचा नाश व्हावा म्हणूनच आम्हास त्याने मिसर देशातून बाहेर काढले आहे.
And you murmured in tents your and you said in [the] hatred of Yahweh us he brought out us from [the] land of Egypt to give us in [the] hand of the Amorite[s] to destroy us.
28 २८ आता आम्ही कोठे जाणार? आमच्या या भावांच्या बातम्यांमुळे घाबरून आमच्या हृदयाचे पाणीपाणी झाले आहे. त्यांच्यानुसार हे लोक धिप्पाड व आमच्यापेक्षा उंच आहेत. तेथील नगरे मोठी असून त्यांची तटबंदी आकाशाला भिडली आहे. आणि तेथे अनाकी वंशाचे महाकाय आहेत.
Where? - [are] we going up countrymen our they have made melt heart our saying [the] people [is] great and lofty more than us [the] cities [are] large and fortified in the heavens and also [the] descendants of [the] Anakites we saw there.
And I said to you not you must be terrified! and not you must be afraid! from them.
30 ३० स्वत: परमेश्वर देव तुमच्यापुढे जात आहे. मिसर देशात तुमच्यासमोर त्याने जे केले तेच तो येथेही करील, तो तुमच्यासाठी लढेल;
Yahweh God your [is] the [one who] goes before you he he will fight for you according to all that he did with you in Egypt to eyes your.
31 ३१ तसेच रानातल्या वाटचालीतही तुम्ही पाहीले, त्यामध्ये तुमचा देव परमेश्वर तुमच्यापुढे होता. मनुष्य आपल्या मुलाला जपून नेतो तसे त्याने तुम्हास येथपर्यंत सांभाळून आणले.”
And in the wilderness where you saw that he carried you Yahweh God your just as he carries anyone child his on all the journey which you walked until came you to the place this.
And in the thing this not you [were] trusting in Yahweh God your.
33 ३३ परमेश्वर प्रवासात तुमच्यासाठी मुक्कामाचे ठिकाण शोधायला तसेच रात्री अग्नीत व दिवसा मेघात प्रकट होऊन तुम्हास मार्गदर्शन करायला तुमच्यापुढे चालत असे.
Who went before you on the journey to seek out for you a place to camp you in the fire - night to show you the way which you will go on it and in the cloud by day.
And he heard Yahweh [the] sound of words your and he was angry and he swore an oath saying.
35 ३५ “तुमच्या पूर्वजांना शपथ वाहून देवू केलेला हा उत्तम प्रदेश या दुष्ट पिढीतील एकाच्याही दृष्टीस पडणार नाही,
If he will see anyone among the men these the generation evil this the land good which I swore to give to ancestors your.
36 ३६ यफुन्नेचा मुलगा कालेब मात्र तो पाहील त्याचे पाय या भूमीला लागले आहेत. त्यास व त्याच्या वंशजांना मी ही भूमी देईल. कारण तो परमेश्वराचा खरा अनुयायी आहे.”
Except Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh he he will see it and to him I will give the land which he has trodden on it and to sons his because that he filled after Yahweh.
37 ३७ तुमच्यामुळे परमेश्वराचा माझ्यावरही कोप झाला. तो म्हणाला, मोशे, “तूही या प्रदेशात प्रवेश करणार नाहीस.
Also with me he was angry Yahweh on account of you saying also you not you will go there.
38 ३८ पण तुझ्या सेवेस हजर राहणारा, नूनाचा मुलगा यहोशवा तेथे जाईल त्यास तू प्रोत्साहन दे, कारण तो इस्राएलांना देश वतन म्हणून मिळवून देईल.
Joshua ([the] son of *L(abh)*) Nun who stands before you he he will go there towards him encourage for he he will give as an inheritance it Israel.
39 ३९ परमेश्वर पुढे आपल्याला म्हणाला, शिवाय आपले शत्रू आपल्या मुलाबाळांना पळवतील असे तुम्ही म्हणालात ती आज जी तुमची मुले बरे किंवा वाईट जाणत नाहीत ती मात्र या देशात जातील आणि त्यांना मी तो देश देईन व ते देश ते हस्तगत करतील.
And little one[s] your who you said plunder he will become and children your who not they know this day good and evil they they will go there towards and to them I will give it and they they will take possession of it.
And you turn yourselves and set out the wilderness towards [the] way of [the] sea of reed[s].
41 ४१ मग तुम्ही मला असे उत्तर दिले की “आमच्या हातून परमेश्वराविरुध्द पाप घडले आहे आपल्या परमेश्वर देवाच्या आज्ञेनुसार आम्ही वर जाऊन लढू.” मग प्रत्येक मनुष्याने आपली शस्त्रास्त्रे घेतली. आणि तुम्ही डोंगराळ प्रदेशावर चढावयला तयार झाला.
And you answered - and you said to me we have sinned to Yahweh we we will go up and we will fight according to all that he has commanded us Yahweh God our and you girded on everyone [the] weapons of war his and you regarded as easy to go up the hill country towards.
42 ४२ परमेश्वर मला म्हणाला, “त्यांना तेथे सांग युद्ध करू नका. कारण मी त्यांच्या बरोबर नाही. शत्रू त्यांना पराभूत करेल.”
And he said Yahweh to me say to them not you must go up and not you must fight for not I [will be] in midst your and not you will be defeated before enemies your.
43 ४३ त्याप्रमाणे तुम्हास मी सांगितले. पण तुम्ही ऐकले नाही. तुम्ही परमेश्वराची आज्ञा पाळली नाही. आणि धिटाई करून त्या डोंगराळ प्रदेशात चढाई करून गेलात.
And I spoke to you and not you listened and you rebelled against [the] mouth of Yahweh and you acted presumptuously and you went up the hill country towards.
44 ४४ तेव्हा तेथील अमोरी तुमच्याशी सामना करायला सामोरे आले. आणि चवताळलेल्या मधमाश्यांप्रमाणे त्यांनी सेईर देशातील हर्मापर्यंत तुम्हास पिटाळून लावले.
And he came out the Amorite[s] who was dwelling in the hill country that to meet you and they pursued you just as they do bees and they scattered you in Seir to Hormah.
And you returned and you wept before Yahweh and not he listened Yahweh to voice your and not he gave ear to you.
And you remained at Kadesh days many like the days which you remained.
