And it was after this they came [the] people of Moab and [the] people of Ammon and with them - some of the Ammonites on Jehoshaphat for battle.
2 २ काही लोकांनी येऊन यहोशाफाटाला खबर दिली की, “मृतसमुद्राच्या पलीकडून अराम देशाकडून मोठी सेना तुमच्यावर चाल करून येत आहे. ती हससोन-तामार!” म्हणजेच एन-गेदी येथे येऊन ठेपली सुध्दा.
And people came and they told to Jehoshaphat saying [is] coming on you a multitude great from [the] other side of the sea from Aram and there they [are] in Hazezon Tamar it [is] En Gedi.
3 ३ यहोशाफाट घाबरला आणि त्याने याबाबतीत परमेश्वरास काय करावे, असे विचारायचे ठरवले. त्याने यहूदामध्ये सर्वांसाठी उपवासाची घोषणा केली.
And he was afraid and he gave Jehoshaphat face his to seek Yahweh and he proclaimed a fast over all Judah.
4 ४ तेव्हा यहूदातून, यहूदाच्या सर्व नगरांमधून लोक यहूदाच्या साहाय्याची परमेश्वराकडे याचना करायला जमले.
And they gathered Judah to seek from Yahweh also from all [the] cities of Judah they came to seek Yahweh.
5 ५ यहोशाफाट, परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरात नवीन अंगणासमोर होता. यहूदा आणि यरूशलेमेच्या लोकांमध्ये तो उभा राहिला.
And he stood Jehoshaphat in [the] assembly of Judah and Jerusalem in [the] house of Yahweh before the courtyard new.
6 ६ तो म्हणाला, “आमच्या पूर्वजांच्या परमेश्वर देवा, स्वर्गातील परमेश्वर तूच आहेस. सर्व राष्ट्रामधल्या सर्व राज्यांचा तूच शास्ता आहेस. सगळे सामर्थ्य आणि सत्ता तुझ्या ठायी आहे. कोणीही तुझ्याविरुध्द जाऊ शकत नाही.”
And he said O Yahweh [the] God of ancestors our ¿ not [are] you he God in the heavens and you [are] ruler over all [the] kingdoms of the nations and [are] in hand your power and strength and there not [is] with you to hold ground.
7 ७ तूच आमचा परमेश्वर आहेस या प्रदेशातील रहिवाश्यांना तू हाकलून लावलेस. तुझ्या या इस्राएलादेखतच तू हे केलेस. तुझा मित्र अब्राहाम याच्या वंशजांना तू ही भूमी कायमची बहाल केलीस.
¿ Not - you O God our did you dispossess [the] inhabitants of the land this from to before people your Israel and you gave it to [the] offspring of Abraham friend your for ever.
And they have dwelt in it and they have built for you - in it a sanctuary for name your saying.
9 ९ ते म्हणाले, तलवार, शासन, रोगराई किंवा दुष्काळ यांच्यारुपाने आमच्यावर अरिष्ट कोसळले असता आम्ही या मंदिरासमोर, आणि तुझ्यापुढे उभे राहू. या मंदिराला तुझे नाव दिले आहे, “संकटाच्या वेळी आम्ही तुझा मोठ्याने धावा करु, आमची हाक ऐकून तू आम्हास सोडव.”
If it will come on us calamity sword judgment and pestilence and famine we will stand before the house this and before you for name your [is] in the house this so we may cry out to you from distress our so you may hear and you may save.
10 १० “पण यावेळी अम्मोन, मवाब आणि सेईर पर्वत या भागातले हे लोक आहेत. इस्राएल लोक मिसरहून आले तेव्हा इस्राएल लोकांस तू त्यांच्या प्रदेशात प्रवेश करु दिला नाहीस. त्यामुळे इस्राएल लोकांनी तिकडे पाठ फिरवली आणि त्यांचे उच्चाटन केले नाही.
And therefore here! [the] people of Ammon and Moab and [the] mountain of Seir which not you permitted to Israel to go in them when came they from [the] land of Egypt for they turned aside from on them and not they destroyed them.
11 ११ पण तेव्हाच त्यांच्या नायनाट न केल्याचे हे काय फळ मिळाले पाहा, ते आम्हास आमच्या प्रदेशातून हुसकावून लावायला निघाले आहेत. हा प्रदेश तू आम्हास बहाल केला आहेस.
And here! they [are] repaying to us by coming to drive out us from possession your which you caused to possess us.
12 १२ हे देवा, या लोकांस चांगले शासन कर. आमच्यावर चाल करून येणाऱ्या या भल्या थोरल्या सेनेला तोंड द्यायचे सामर्थ्य आमच्यात नाही. आम्हास काही सुचेनासे झाले आहे. म्हणून आमचे डोळे तुझ्याकडे लागलेले आहे.”
O God our ¿ not will you enter into judgment on them for there not in us [is] strength before the multitude great this which is coming on us and we not we know what? will we do for [are] on you eyes our.
13 १३ यहूदातील सर्व मंडळी आपल्या पत्नी आणि तान्ह्या मुलांसकट सर्व अपत्यांना घेऊन परमेश्वरासमोर उभी होती.
(And all *LAB(h)*) Judah [were] standing before Yahweh also little one[s] their wives their and children their.
14 १४ तेव्हा यहजीएल याच्यात परमेश्वराच्या आत्म्याचा संचार झाला. यहजीएल हा जखऱ्याचा पुत्र. जखऱ्या बनायाचा पुत्र. बनाया यईएलाचा पुत्र. आणि यईएल मत्तन्याचा पुत्र. यहजीएल लेवी असून आसाफच्या वंशातला होता. या सभेत
And Jahaziel [the] son of Zechariah [the] son of Benaiah [the] son of Jeiel [the] son of Mattaniah the Levite one of [the] descendants of Asaph it was on him [the] spirit of Yahweh in [the] midst of the assembly.
15 १५ यहजीएल म्हणाला, “राजा यहोशाफाट, तसेच यहूदा आणि यरूशलेममधील रहिवाश्यांनो, मी काय म्हणतो ते ऐका. परमेश्वराचा संदेश असा आहे. एवढी मोठी सेना पाहून घाबरुन जाऊ नका किंवा काळजी करु नका. हे युध्द तुमचे नव्हे तर परमेश्वराचे युध्द आहे.
And he said pay attention O all Judah and [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem and the king Jehoshaphat thus he says Yahweh to you O you may not you be afraid and may not you be dismayed because of the multitude great this for not [belongs] to you the battle for to God.
16 १६ उद्या त्यांचा सामना करायला जा आणि लढा. ते सीसच्या खिंडीतून वर येत आहेत. दरीच्या टोकाला यरुएल वाळवंटाच्या दुसऱ्या बाजूला तुमची त्यांच्याशी गाठ पडेल.
Tomorrow go down on them there they [will be] coming up on [the] ascent of Ziz and you will find them at [the] end of the wadi [the] face of [the] wilderness of Jeruel.
17 १७ तुम्हास या लढाईत लढावे असे लागणारच नाही. आपल्या जागी ठाम उभे राहा. परमेश्वराने तुमचे रक्षण केलेले तुम्हास आढळून येईल. यहूदा आणि यरूशलेम लोकहो, भिऊ नका, चिंता करु नका. परमेश्वर तुमच्यासोबत आहे. तेव्हा उद्या त्यांच्यावर चालून जा.”
Not [belongs] to you to fight in this [battle] take your stand stand and see [the] victory of Yahweh with you O Judah and Jerusalem may not you be afraid and may not you be dismayed tomorrow go out before them and Yahweh [will be] with you.
18 १८ यहोशाफाटाने मस्तक भूमीपर्यंत लववले. यहूदा आणि यरूशलेममधील सर्व लोक यांनी परमेश्वरापुढे दंडवत घातले. त्या सर्वांनी परमेश्वराची आराधना केली.
And he bowed low Jehoshaphat face [the] ground towards and all Judah and [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem they fell down before Yahweh to bow down to Yahweh.
19 १९ कहाथ आणि कोरह या घराण्यांतील लेवी इस्राएलच्या परमेश्वर देवाची भजने म्हणण्यास उभे राहिले. उच्च स्वरात त्यांनी परमेश्वराची भजने म्हटली.
And they stood the Levites of [the] descendants of the Kohathites and of [the] descendants of the Korahites to praise Yahweh [the] God of Israel with a voice great upwards.
20 २० यहोशाफाटाचे सैन्य भल्यासकाळी तकोवाच्या वाळवंटात गेले. ते निघत असताना यहोशाफाट समोर उभा राहून त्यांना म्हणाला, “यहूदा आणि यरूशलेम नगरांमधील लोकहो, ऐका. आपल्या परमेश्वर देवावर श्रध्दा ठेवा आणि खंबीरपणे उभे राहा. परमेश्वराच्या संदेष्ट्यांवर विश्वास ठेवा. जय तुमचाच आहे.”
And they rose early in the morning and they went out to [the] wilderness of Tekoa and when went out they he stood Jehoshaphat and he said listen to me O Judah and [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem trust in Yahweh God your so you may be established trust in prophets his and succeed.
21 २१ यहोशाफाटाने लोकांस प्रोत्साहन दिले व सूचना दिल्या. परमेश्वराचे स्तवन करणारी माणसे त्याने निवडली. परमेश्वर पवित्र आणि कल्याणकारी आहे म्हणून त्याचे स्तवन करण्यासाठी त्याने या गायकांना नेमले. त्यांनी सैन्यासमोर उभे राहून स्तुतिगीते म्हटली. ते म्हणाले, “परमेश्वराचे स्तवन करा कारण त्याची प्रीती सर्वकाळ आहे.”
And he consulted the people and he appointed [those who] sang to Yahweh and [those who] praised to adornment of holiness when went out before the [man] equipped and saying give thanks to Yahweh for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
22 २२ लोकांनी देवाची स्तुतिगीते म्हणण्यास सुरुवात केल्याबरोबर परमेश्वराने यहूदावर चाल करून आलेल्या अम्मोनी, मवाबी आणि सेईर पर्वतांतील लोकांशी गनिमी काव्याने लढणारी फौज मोक्याच्या जागी बसवली.
And at [the] time [when] they began with a shout of joy and praise he set Yahweh - ambushers on [the] people of Ammon Moab and [the] mountain of Seir who were coming to Judah and they were defeated.
23 २३ अम्मोनी आणि मवाबी लोक सेईर पर्वतातल्या लोकांशी लढू लागले. अम्मोन्यांनी आणि मवाब्यांनी त्यांचा पुरता संहार केला. सेईरातल्या लोकांचा बीमोड केल्यानंतर त्यांनी एकमेकांचा नाश केला.
And they rose up [the] people of Ammon and Moab on [the] inhabitants of [the] mountain of Seir to totally destroy [them] and to destroy [them] and just as had finished they with [the] inhabitants of Seir they helped each on neighbor his to destruction.
24 २४ यहूदी लोक वाळवंटातील टेहळणीच्या बुरुजापाशी आले. शत्रूचे विशाल सैन्य कुठे दिसते का हे ते पाहू लागले पण त्यांना फक्त जमिनीवर विखुरलेले मृतदेह तेवढे दिसले. कोणीही जिवंत राहिला नव्हता.
And Judah it came to the watchtower of the wilderness and they turned to the multitude and there they [were] corpses lying [the] ground towards and there not [was] an escaped remnant.
25 २५ यहोशाफाट आणि त्याचे सैन्य लुटीसाठी मृतदेहापाशी आले. त्यामध्ये त्यांना खूप, धन, आणि मौल्यवान वस्तू मिळाल्या. त्या त्यांनी स्वत: ला घेतल्या. लूट एवढी होती की ती यहोशाफाट आणि त्याचे लोक यांना नेता येईना. ती प्रेतांमधून काढून न्यायला त्यांना तीन दिवस लागले.
And he went Jehoshaphat and people his to plunder booty their and they found among them to abundance and property and corpses and articles of precious things and they plundered for themselves to there not [was] carrying and they were days three plundering the booty for [was] much it.
26 २६ चौथ्या दिवशी यहोशाफाट आणि त्याचे सैन्य बराखाच्या खोऱ्यात जमले. याठिकाणी त्यांनी परमेश्वरास धन्यवाद दिले. म्हणून आजही या खोऱ्याचे नाव आशीर्वादाचे खोरे असे आहे.
And on the day fourth they assembled to [the] valley of Berachah for there they blessed Yahweh there-fore people have called [the] name of the place that [the] valley of Berachah until this day.
27 २७ मग यहोशाफाटाने समस्त यहूदा आणि यरूशलेम लोकांस यरूशलेम येथे माघारी नेले. परमेश्वराने त्यांच्या शत्रूंचा पाडाव केल्यामुळे त्यांच्यात आनंदी आनंद पसरला होता.
And they turned back every man of Judah and Jerusalem and Jehoshaphat at head their to return to Jerusalem with joy for he had made rejoice them Yahweh from enemies their.
And they came Jerusalem with lyres and with harps and with trumpets to [the] house of Yahweh.
29 २९ परमेश्वराने इस्राएलाच्या शत्रू सैन्याशी लढा दिला हे ऐकून सर्व देशांमधल्या सर्व राज्यांमध्ये परमेश्वराविषयी धाक निर्माण झाला.
And it was [the] dread of God on all [the] kingdoms of the lands when heard they that he had fought Yahweh with [the] enemies of Israel.
And it was at peace [the] kingdom of Jehoshaphat and he had given rest to him God his from round about.
31 ३१ यहोशाफाटाने यहूदा देशावर राज्य केले. राज्यावर आला तेव्हा तो पस्तीस वर्षांचा होता. त्याने यरूशलेमेवर पंचवीस वर्षे राज्य केले. यहोशाफाटाच्या आईचे नाव अजूबा ही शिल्हीची कन्या.
And he reigned Jehoshaphat over Judah a son of thirty and five year[s] when became king he and twenty and five year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Azubah [the] daughter of Shilhi.
32 ३२ आपले पिता आसा यांच्याप्रमाणेच यहोशाफाट योग्य मार्गाने वागला. त्याने मार्ग सोडला नाही. परमेश्वराच्या दृष्टीने भले तेच यहोशाफाटाने केले.
And he walked in [the] way of father his Asa and not he turned aside from it to do the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh.
33 ३३ पण उच्चस्थाने काढण्यात आली नव्हती. लोकांनीही आपले मन आपल्या पूर्वजांच्या परमेश्वराकडे वळवले नव्हते.
Only the high places not they were removed and still the people not they directed heart their to [the] God of ancestors their.
34 ३४ हनानीचा पुत्र येहू याच्या बखरीमध्ये यहोशाफाटाच्या बाकीच्या कृत्यांची संपूर्ण नोंद आहे. इस्राएलच्या राजांचा इतिहास या ग्रंथात या गोष्टींचा समावेश करून त्यांची नोंद केली आहे.
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoshaphat former and latter there they [are] written in [the] words of Jehu [the] son of Hanani which it was recorded on [the] scroll of [the] kings of Israel.
35 ३५ इस्राएलचा राजा अहज्या याच्याशी पुढे यहूदाचा राजा यहोशाफाट याने करार केला. यहोशाफाट ने हे वाईट केले.
And after this he made an alliance Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah with Ahaziah [the] king of Israel he he acted wickedly to do.
36 ३६ तार्शीश नगराला जायच्या गलबतांबद्दल हा करार होता. एसयोन-गेबेर येथे त्यांनी या गलबतांची बांधणी केली.
And he allied himself with him to make ships to go Tarshish and they made ships in Ezion Geber.
37 ३७ पुढे अलियेजर ने यहोशाफाटाविरुध्द भविष्य सांगितले. मारेशा नगरातला दोदावाहू याचा अलियेजर हा पुत्र. तो म्हणाला, “यहोशाफाट, तू अहज्याशी हातमिळवणी केलीस म्हणून परमेश्वर तुझ्या कामांचा विध्वंस करील.” आणि जहाजे फुटली. त्यामुळे यहोशाफाट आणि अहज्या यांना ती तार्शीशला पाठवता आली नाहीत.
And he prophesied Eliezer [the] son of Dodavahu from Mareshah on Jehoshaphat saying as making alliance you with Ahaziah he will break Yahweh works your and they were broken ships and not they retained to go to Tarshish.
