1 इतिहास 25

1 १ दावीद आणि निवासमंडपाच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी मिळून आसाफाच्या मुलांना एका खास कामासाठी निवडले. हेमान व यदूथून ही ती अपत्ये. वीणा, सतारी आणि झांजा ही वाद्ये, वाजवून देवाचा संदेश देणे असे त्यांच्या कामाचे स्वरूप होते. हे काम करणाऱ्या लोकांची यादी:

And David and the heads of the host separate for service, of the sons of Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun, who are prophesying with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals; and the number of the workmen is according to their service.

2 २ आसाफाच्या वंशातले: जक्कूर, योसेफ, नथन्या आणि अशेराला, हे आसाफाचे पुत्र राज्याच्या देखरेखीखाली आसाफाच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली संदेश देत होते.

Of sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah; sons of Asaph [are] by the side of Asaph, who is prophesying by the side of the king.

3 ३ यदूथूनाचे वंशज: गदल्या, सारी, यशया, हशब्या व मत्तिथ्या हे सहाजण, आपला पिता यदूथून याच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली वीणा वाजवून परमेश्वराचे उपकारस्मरण आणि स्तवन करून संदेश देत असे.

Of Jeduthun, sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, [and Shimei, and] Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, by the side of their father Jeduthun; he is prophesying with a harp, for giving of thanks and of praise for YHWH.

4 ४ हेमानाचे वंशज: बुक्कीया, मत्तन्या, उज्जियेल, शबुएल, यरीमोथ, हनन्या, हनानी, अलियाथा, गिद्दल्ती, रोममती-एजेर, याश्बकाशा, मल्लोथी, होथीर आणि महजियोथ.

Of Heman, sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;

5 ५ हेमान हा राजाचा संदेष्टा होता, हे सर्व हेमानाचे पुत्र शिंग वाजवायला होते. देवाने हेमानाला चौदा मुले आणि तीन मुली देऊन सन्मानीत केले.

all these [are] sons of Heman, seer of the king in the things of God, to lift up a horn; and God gives fourteen sons and three daughters to Heman.

6 ६ हे सर्व आपल्या पित्याच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली परमेश्वराच्या घरात ही अपत्ये झांजा, सतारी आणि वीणा वाजवून गीते गाण्यासाठी आणि देवाच्या घरातील सेवेसाठी होते. आसाफ, यदूथून व हेमान हे राजाच्या देखरेखीखाली होती.

All these [are] by the side of their father in the song of the house of YHWH, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; by the side of the king [are] Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.

7 ७ ते आणि त्यांचे नातेवाईक गायनकलेत पारंगत व परमेश्वरासाठी गायनाचे प्रशिक्षण घेतलेले दोनशे अठ्याऐशींजण होते.

And their number, with their brothers taught in the song of YHWH—all who are intelligent—[is] two hundred and eighty-eight.

8 ८ त्यांनी लहानथोर, गुरु-शिष्य सर्वानी आपल्या कामासाठी सारख्याच चिठ्ठ्या टाकल्या व कामे वाटून घेतली.

And they cause lots to fall, charge next to [charge], the small as well as the great, the intelligent with the learner.

9 ९ तेव्हा आसाफाच्या मुलांच्या संबंधीत: पहिली चिठ्ठी योसेफाची निघाली; दुसरी गदल्याची त्याची अपत्ये आणि भाऊबंद यांच्यातून बाराजणांना घेतले.

And the first lot goes out for Asaph to Joseph; the second, Gedaliah—him, and his brothers and his sons—twelve;

10 १० तिसरी चिठ्ठी जक्कूरचे पुत्र आणि भाऊबंद यांच्यामधून, बाराजणांना घेतले.

the third, Zaccur, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

11 ११ चौथी चिठ्ठी इस्रीची, त्याचे पुत्र आणि आप्त यांच्यामधून बाराजणांना घेतले.

the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

12 १२ पाचवी नथन्याची त्याचे पुत्र व नातलग यामधून बाराजण.

the fifth, Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

13 १३ सहावी चिठ्ठी बुक्कीयाची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि भाऊबंद यांमधून बाराजण.

the sixth, Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

14 १४ सातवी यशरेलाची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि भाऊबंद यांमधून बाराजण.

the seventh, Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

15 १५ यशयाची आठवी. या चिठ्ठीनुसार पुत्र आणि भाऊबंद यामधून बाराजण.

the eighth, Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

16 १६ नववी मत्तन्याची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि नातलग यामधून बाराजण.

the ninth, Mattaniah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

17 १७ दहावी शिमीची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि नातलग यांमधून बाराजण.

the tenth, Shimei, his sons and his brothers—twelve:

18 १८ अकरावी अजरेलाची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि नातलाग यांमधून बाराजण.

eleventh, Azareel, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

19 १९ बारावी हशब्याची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि त्याचे नातलग यांमधून बाराजण.

the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

20 २० तेरावी शूबाएलाची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि नातलग यांमधून बाराजण.

for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

21 २१ चौदावी मत्तिथ्याची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि नातलगामधून बाराजण.

for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

22 २२ पंधरावी यरेमोथची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि नातेवाईक यांमधून बारा.

for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

23 २३ सोळावी हनन्याची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि भाऊबंद यांमधून बाराजण.

the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

24 २४ सतरावी याश्बकाशाची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि नातलग यांमधून बाराजण.

the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

25 २५ अठरावी हनानीची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि नातलग यांमधून बाराजण.

the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

26 २६ एकुणिसावी मल्लोथीची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि आप्त यांमधून बाराजण.

the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

27 २७ विसावी अलीयाथची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि नातलगामधून बाराजण.

the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

28 २८ एकविसावी होथीरची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि नातलग यांमधून बाराजण.

the twenty-first to Hothir, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

29 २९ बावीसावी गिद्दल्तीची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि नातलग यांमधून बाराजण.

the twenty-second to Giddalti, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

30 ३० तेविसावी महजियोथची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि भाऊबंद यांमधून बाराजण.

the twenty-third to Mahazioth, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

31 ३१ चोविसावी रोममती-एजेरची. त्याचे पुत्र आणि नातलगामधून बाराजण.

the twenty-fourth to Romamti-Ezer, his sons and his brothers—twelve.
