1 I korero ano a Ihowa ki a Mohi raua ko Arona, i mea,
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, and to Aaron, saying,

Euery man of the children of Israel shall campe by his standerd, and vnder the ensigne of their fathers house: farre off about the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall they pitch.

Then the tribe of Zebulun, and Eliab the sonne of Helon, captaine ouer the sonnes of Zebulun:
8 A, ko tona ope, ko nga mea o ratou i taua, e rima tekau ma whitu mano e wha rau.
And his hoste, and the nomber thereof seuen and fiftie thousand and foure hundreth:
9 Ko nga tangata katoa i taua o te puni o Hura kotahi rau e waru tekau ma ono mano e wha rau, i o ratou ope. Ko enei e haere wawe.
The whole nomber of the hoste of Iudah are an hundreth fourescore and sixe thousande, and foure hundreth according to their armies: they shall first set foorth.
10 Hei te taha ki te tonga te kara o te puni o Reupena, me o ratou ope: a ko Erituru tama a Hereuru, hei rangatira mo nga tama a Reupena.
On the South side shalbe ye standerd of the host of Reuben according to their armies, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Reuben shalbe Elizur the sonne of Shedeur.
11 A, ko tona ope, ko nga mea o ratou i taua, e wha tekau ma ono mano e rima rau.
And his host, and the nomber thereof sixe and fourty thousand and fiue hundreth.
12 A, me whakatu ki tona taha ko te iwi o Himiona: a ko Herumiere tama a Turiharai, hei rangatira mo nga tama a Himiona.
And by him shall the tribe of Simeon pitch, and the captaiue ouer the sonnes of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the sonne of Zurishaddai:
13 Ko tona ope, ko nga mea o ratou i taua, e rima tekau ma iwa mano e toru rau.
And his hoste, and the nomber of them, nine and fiftie thousand and three hundreth.
14 Ko reira te iwi o Kara: a ko Eriahapa tama a Reuere, hei rangatira mo nga tama a Kara.
And the tribe of Gad, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Gad shall be Eliasaph the sonne of Deuel:
15 A, ko tona ope, ko nga mea o ratou i taua, e wha tekau ma rima mano e ono rau e rima tekau.
And his host and the nomber of the were fiue and fourtye thousande, sixe hundreth and fiftie.
16 Ko nga tangata katoa i taua o te puni o Reupena kotahi rau e rima tekau ma tahi mano e wha rau e rima tekau, i o ratou ope. Me haere ratou hei tuarua mo nga matua.
All the nomber of the campe of Reuben were an hundreth and one and fiftie thousande, and foure hundreth and fiftie according to their armies, and they shall set foorth in the seconde place.

Then the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall goe with the host of the Leuites, in the mids of the campe as they haue pitched, so shall they goe forwarde, euery man in his order according to their standerds.

The standerd of the campe of Ephraim shalbe toward the west according to their armies: and ye captaine ouer the sonnes of Ephraim shall be Elishama the sonne of Ammihud:

And his host and the nomber of the were fortie thousand and fiue hundreth.
20 A ki tona taha ko te iwi o Manahi: a, ko te rangatira mo nga tama a Manahi ko Kamariere, tama a Peraturu.
And by him shalbe the tribe of Manasseh, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Manasseh shalbe Gamliel the sonne of Pedahzur:
21 A, ko tona ope, ko nga mea o ratu i taua, e toru tekau ma rua mano e rua rau.
And his hoste and the nomber of them were two and thirtie thousand and two hundreth.
22 Ko reira te iwi o Pineamine: a ko te rangatira mo nga tama a Pineamine ko Apirana tama a Kirioni.
And the tribe of Beniamin, and ye captaine ouer the sonnes of Beniamin shalbe Abidan the sonne of Gideoni:
23 A, ko tona ope, ko nga mea o ratou i taua, e toru tekau ma rima mano e wha rau.
And his host, and the nomber of the were fiue and thirtie thousand and foure hundreth.
24 Ko nga tangata katoa i taua o te puni o Eparaima kotahi rau e waru mano, kotahi rau, i o ratou ope. A ka hapainga ratou hei tuatoru mo nga matua.
All the nomber of the campe of Ephraim were an hundreth and eight thousande and one hundreth according to their armies, and they shall go in the third place.
25 Hei te taha ki te raki te kara o te puni o Rana, me o ratou ope: a ko te rangatira mo nga tama a Rana ko Ahietere tama a Amiharai.
The standerd of the host of Dan shalbe toward the North according to their armies: and the captaine ouer the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the sonne of Ammishaddai:
26 A, ko tona ope, ko nga mea o ratou i taua, e ono tekau ma rua mano e whitu rau.
And his host and the number of them were two and threescore thousand and seue hundreth.
27 Na me whakatu ki tona taha ko te iwi o Ahera: a, ko te rangatira mo nga tama a Ahera ko Pakiere tama a Okorana.
And by him shall the tribe of Asher pitch, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Asher shalbe Pagiel the sonne of Ocran.
28 A, ko tona ope, ko nga mea o ratou i taua, e wha tekau ma tahi mano e rima rau.
And his host and the nomber of them were one and fourtie thousand and fiue hundreth.
29 Ko reira te iwi o Napatari: a, ko te rangatira mo nga tama a Napatari ko Ahira tama a Enana.
Then the tribe of Naphtali, and the captaine ouer the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the sonne of Enan:
30 A, ko tona ope, ko nga mea o ratou i taua, e rima tekau ma toru mano e wha rau.
And his host and the nomber of them were three and fiftie thousand and foure hundreth.
31 Ko nga mea katoa i taua o te puni o Rana kotahi rau e rima tekau ma whitu mano e ono rau. Hei muri rawa ratou haere ai, me o ratou kara.
All the nomber of the host of Dan was an hundreth and seuen and fiftie thousand and sixe hundreth: they shall goe hinmost with their standerdes.
32 Ko enei o nga tama a Iharaira i taua, i nga whare o o ratou matua: taua ake o nga puni, i o ratou ope, e ono rau e toru mano e rima rau e rima tekau.
These are the summes of the childre of Israel by ye houses of their fathers, all the nomber of ye host, according to their armies, six hundreth and three thousand, fiue hundreth and fiftie.

But the Leuites were not nombred among the children of Israel, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses: so they pitched according to their standards, and so they iourneyed euery one with his families, according to the houses of their fathers.
