Heremaia 42
1 Katahi nga rangatira katoa o nga ope, ratou ko Hohanana tama a Karea, ko Tetania tama a Hohaia, ko te iwi katoa hoki, i te iti ki te rahi, ka haere mai,
Und es traten herzu alle Fürsten des Heeres, Johanan, der Sohn Kareachs, Jesanja, der Sohn Hosajas, das ganze Volk, vom Kleinsten bis zum Größten,

und sprachen zum Propheten Jeremia: Laß doch unser Flehen vor dir gelten und bitte den HERRN, deinen Gott, für uns, für diesen ganzen Überrest; denn unser sind nur wenige übriggeblieben von den vielen, wie du uns hier siehst.

Der HERR, dein Gott, wolle uns den Weg zeigen, den wir gehen sollen, und uns sagen, was wir zu tun haben!

Da antwortete ihnen Jeremia: Ich habe es gehört! Siehe, ich will den HERRN, euren Gott, bitten, wie ihr gesagt habt; und alles, was euch der HERR zur Antwort gibt, will ich euch kundtun und nichts verschweigen!

Da sprachen sie zu Jeremia: Der HERR sei wahrhaftiger und gewisser Zeuge wider uns, wenn wir nicht ganz nach dem Worte handeln, mit dem der HERR, dein Gott, dich zu uns senden wird.
6 Ahakoa pai, ahakoa kino, ka rongo matou ki te reo o Ihowa, o to tatou Atua, ka unga nei koe e matou ki a ia; kia whai pai ai matou, ki te rongo matou ki te reo o Ihowa, o to tatou Atua.
Es scheine uns gut oder böse, so wollen wir der Stimme des HERRN, unsres Gottes, zu dem wir dich senden, gehorchen, damit es uns wohl ergehe, wenn wir der Stimme des HERRN, unsres Gottes, gehorchen!
7 Na i te mutunga o nga ra kotahi tekau ka puta mai te kupu a Ihowa ki a Heremaia.
Aber nach zehn Tagen erging das Wort des HERRN an Jeremia.
8 Katahi ia ka karanga ki a Hohanana tama a Karea, ratou ko ona hoa, ko nga rangatira katoa o nga ope, ki te iwi katoa hoki, ki te iti, ki te rahi,
Da berief er Johanan, den Sohn Kareachs, und alle Obersten des Heeres, die bei ihm waren, sowie das ganze Volk, vom Kleinsten bis zum Größten,

und sprach zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels, zu dem ihr mich gesandt habt, euer demütiges Flehen vor sein Angesicht zu bringen:

Wenn ihr in diesem Lande bleibet, so will ich euch bauen und nicht niederreißen, pflanzen und nicht ausreuten; denn es reut mich des Übels, welches ich euch zugefügt habe.
11 Kaua e wehi i te kingi o Papurona, e wehingia na e koutou: kaua e wehi i a ia, e ai ta Ihowa; no te mea kei a koutou ahau hei whakaora i a koutou, hei tango i a koutou i roto i tona ringa.
Fürchtet euch nicht vor dem Könige von Babel, vor welchem ihr Angst habt; fürchtet euch nicht vor ihm, spricht der HERR; denn ich bin mit euch, um euch zu helfen und euch von seiner Hand zu erretten.

Ich will euch Barmherzigkeit finden lassen, daß er sich über euch erbarmen und euch wieder in euer Land bringen wird.

Wenn ihr aber sagt: «Wir wollen nicht in diesem Lande bleiben», so daß ihr der Stimme des HERRN, eures Gottes nicht gehorcht,
14 Ka mea, Kahore; engari ka haere matou ki te whenua o Ihipa, ki te wahi e kore ai matou e kite i te whawhai, e kore ai hoki e rongo i te tangi o te tetere, a e kore ai e hiakai ki te taro; a hei reira tatou noho ai:
indem ihr sagt: «Nein, sondern ins Land Ägypten wollen wir ziehen, wo wir weder Krieg sehen noch Posaunenschall hören, noch Hunger leiden werden, dort wollen wir wohnen!»

dann höret das Wort des HERRN, ihr Übriggebliebenen von Juda: So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Wenn ihr euer Angesicht darauf richtet, nach Ägypten zu ziehen, um dort in der Fremde zu wohnen,

so wird das Schwert, welches ihr fürchtet, euch dort in Ägyptenland erreichen, und der Hunger, vor dem euch hier graut, wird euch dort in Ägypten verfolgen, und dort werdet ihr sterben!
17 Na ka pena nga tangata katoa e naro ana o ratou kanohi ki te haere ki Ihipa ki reira noho ai; ka mate ratou i te hoari, i te hemokai, i te mate uruta: a e kore tetahi o ratou e toe, e mawhiti i te kino e takina mai e ahau ki runga ki a ratou.
Und alle die Männer, die ihr Angesicht darauf richten, nach Ägypten zu ziehen, um dort zu wohnen, werden durchs Schwert, durch Hunger und Pest umkommen; keiner von ihnen wird übrigbleiben; keiner wird dem Unglück entrinnen, das ich über sie bringen will!

Denn also spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Wie mein Zorn und mein Grimm sich über die Einwohner von Jerusalem ergossen hat, also wird sich mein Grimm auch über euch ergießen, wenn ihr nach Ägypten zieht; und ihr sollt zur Verwünschung und zum Entsetzen, zum Fluch und zur Schmach werden und sollt diesen Ort nimmermehr sehen!

Der HERR sagt zu euch, o ihr von Juda Übriggebliebenen: Ihr sollt nicht nach Ägypten ziehen! Merkt euch wohl, daß ich es euch heute bezeugt habe.
20 Kua tinihanga hoki koutou ki o koutou na wairua ano; i unga hoki koutou i ahau ki a Ihowa, ki to koutou Atua, i ki mai, Inoi mo matou ki a Ihowa, ki to tatou Atua; a, ko nga mea katoa e korerotia e Ihowa, e to tatou Atua, mau e whakaatu ki a mat ou, a ka mahia e matou.
Denn ihr habt euch selbst betrogen damit, daß ihr mich zu dem HERRN, eurem Gott, gesandt und gesprochen habt: «Bitte den HERRN, unsren Gott, für uns! Und alles, was der HERR, unser Gott, dir zur Antwort gibt, das zeige uns an, so wollen wir es tun.»
21 Na kua whakaaturia nei e ahau ki a koutou i tenei ra; otira kihai koutou i rongo ki te reo o Ihowa, o to koutou Atua, i nga mea katoa i unga ai ahau e ai ki a koutou.
Nun zeige ich es euch heute an; wollt ihr aber nicht auf die Stimme des HERRN, eures Gottes, hören und auf alles das, was er euch durch mich sagen läßt,
22 Ko tenei, kia tino mohio koutou, tera koutou e mate i te hoari, i te hemokai, i te mate uruta, ki te wahi i hiahia ai koutou kia haere ki reira noho ai.
so wisset alsdann, daß ihr durchs Schwert, durch Hunger und Pest umkommen werdet an dem Orte, wohin ihr zu ziehen und wo ihr zu wohnen begehret!
