< Ihaia 55 >

1 E! e nga tangata katoa e matewai ana, haere mai ki nga wai! me te tangata kahore ana moni; haere mai, hokona, kainga! Haere mai, hokona he waina, he waiu; kaua he moni, kaua he utu.
Alle that thirsten, come ye to watris, and ye han not siluer, haaste, bie ye, and ete ye; come ye, bie ye, with out siluer and with outen ony chaungyng, wyn and mylk.
2 He aha ra i hokona ai e koutou te moni mo nga mea ehara i te taro, to koutou uaua mo nga mea e kore ai koutou e makona? ata whakarongo mai ki ahau, a kainga te mea pai; kia ora hoki o koutou wairua i nga mea momona.
Whi peisen ye siluer, and not in looues, and youre trauel, not in fulnesse? Ye herynge here me, and ete ye good, and youre soule schal delite in fatnesse.
3 Tahuri mai o koutou taringa, haere mai ki ahau; whakarongo mai, a ka ora o koutou wairua, a maku e whakarite ki a koutou he kawenata mau tonu, ara nga atawhainga pono i a Rawiri.
Bowe ye youre eere, and `come ye to me; here ye, and youre soule schal lyue; and Y schal smyte with you a couenaunt euerlastynge, the feithful mercies of Dauid.
4 Nana, kua waiho ia e ahau hei kaiwhakaatu ki nga iwi, hei rangatira, hei kaiwhakahau mo nga tauiwi.
Lo! Y yaf hym a witnesse to puplis, a duyk and a comaundour to folkis.
5 Nana, ka karanga koe i te iwi kihai i mohiotia e koe; ka rere mai ano ki a koe nga iwi kahore i mohio ki a koe; mo Ihowa hoki, mo tou Atua, mo te Mea Tapu o Iharaira; nana hoki koe i whakanui.
Lo! thou schalt clepe folkis, whiche thou knewist not; and folkis, that knewen not thee, schulen renne to thee; for thi Lord God, and the hooli of Israel, for he glorifiede thee.
6 Rapua a Ihowa, kei kitea ana ia: karangatia atu, kei tata ana mai ia.
Seke ye the Lord, while he mai be foundun; clepe ye hym to help, while he is niy.
7 Kia whakarere te tangata kino i tona ara, te tangata mahi he i ona whakaaro; kia hoki ki a Ihowa, a ka aroha ia ki a ia; ki to tatou Atua hoki, he nui rawa hoki tana mahi tohu.
An vnfeithful man forsake his weie, and a wickid man forsake hise thouytis; and turne he ayen to the Lord, and he schal haue merci on hym, and to oure God, for he is myche to foryyue.
8 Ehara hoki oku whakaaro i o koutou whakaaro, o koutou hurarahi i oku huarahi, e ai ta Ihowa.
For why my thouytis ben not youre thouytis, and my weies ben not youre weies, seith the Lord.
9 Ta te mea e ikeike ake ana te rangi i te whenua, waihoki ko oku huarahi e ikeike ake ana i o koutou huarahi, ko oku whakaaro i o koutou whakaaro.
For as heuenys ben reisid fro erthe, so my weies ben reisid fro youre weies, and my thouytis fro youre thouytis.
10 Ka rite hoki ki te ua raua ko te hukarere e rere iho ana i te rangi, a e kore e hoki ki reira; engari e whakamakuku ana i te whenua, e mea ana kia whai hua, kia pihi ake, kia homai ano he purapura ma te kaiwhakato, he taro ma te tangata e kai an a:
And as reyn and snow cometh doun fro heuene, and turneth no more ayen thidur, but it fillith the erthe, and bischedith it, and makith it to buriowne, and yyueth seed to hym that sowith, and breed to hym that etith,
11 Ka pena ano taku kupu e puta ana i toku mangai: e kore e hoki kau, mai ki ahau; engari ka meatia taku i pai ai, ka taea hoki taku i unga atu ai.
so schal be my word, that schal go out of my mouth. It schal not turne ayen voide to me, but it schal do what euer thingis Y wolde, and it schal haue prosperite in these thingis to whiche Y sente it.
12 Ta te mea ka haere atu koutou me te hari ano, ka arahina i runga i te rangimarie; ka pakaru mai te waiata a nga maunga, a nga pukepuke, i to koutou aroaro, a ka papaki ringa nga rakau katoa o te whenua.
For ye schulen go out in gladnesse, and ye schulen be led forth in pees; mounteyns and litil hillis schulen synge heriynge bifore you, and alle the trees of the cuntrei schulen make ioie with hond.
13 He tataramoa i mua, ka puta ake he kauri; he tumatakuru i mua, ka puta ake he ramarama: a ka waiho hei ingoa ki a Ihowa, hei tohu mo a mua tonu atu, e kore e motuhia.
A fir tre schal grow for a firse, and a mirte tre schal wexe for a nettil; and the Lord schal be nemyd in to a signe euerlastynge, that schal not be doon awei.
