And the word of the Lord was maad to me,

and he seide, Thou, sone of man, twei wymmen weren the douytris of o modir, and diden fornycacioun in Egipt;

in her yonge wexynge age thei diden fornicacioun; there the brestis of hem weren maad low, and the tetis of the tyme of mariage of hem weren brokun.

4 Na, ko o raua ingoa, ko Ohora to te tuakana, ko Ohoripa to te teina: a i riro raua i ahau, i whanau hoki he tama, he tamahine ma raua. Na, mo o raua ingoa, ko Hamaria a Ohora, ko Hiruharama a Ohoripa.

Forsothe the names of hem ben, Oolla, the more sistir, and Ooliba the lesse sistir of hir. And Y hadde hem, and thei childiden sones and douytris; certis the names of hem ben Samarie Oolla, and Jerusalem Ooliba.

And sche yaf hir fornicaciouns on hem, on alle the chosun sones of Assiriens; and in alle on whiche sche was wood, sche was defoulid in the vnclennessis of hem.

8 Kihai ano i mahue i a ia ana moepuku mai o nga ra o Ihipa; i takoto hoki ratou ki a ia i tona tamarikitanga, a mirimiria ana e ratou nga matamata o tona wahinetanga, ringihia ana e ratou a ratou moepuku ki runga ki a ia.

9 Na reira ia i tukua ai e ahau ki te ringa o te hunga i arohaina e ia, ki te ringa o nga tamariki o Ahiria, o ana i minamina ai.

Therfor Y yaf hir in to the hondis of hir louyeris, in to the hondis of the sones of Assur, on whos letcherie sche was wood.

10 A hurahia ana ia e ratou kia noho tahanga; tangohia ana e ratou ana tama, ana tamahine, patua iho ia e ratou ki te hoari; a whai ingoa ana ia i roto i nga wahine; i mahia hoki e ratou he whakawa ki a ia.

Thei diskyueriden the schenschipe of hir; thei token awei the sones and the douytris of hir, and killiden hir with swerd; and the wymmen weren maad famouse, that is, sclaundrid, and thei diden domes in hir.

And whanne hir sistir Ooliba hadde seyn this, sche was wood in letcherie more than that sistre, and yaf vnschamefastli hir fornicacioun on the fornicacioun of hir sistre,

12 Minamina ana ia ki nga Ahiriana, ki ona hoa tata, ki nga ariki, ki nga kawana, he pai rawa nei nga kakahu, he tangata hoiho e eke ana ki te hoiho, ko ratou katoa he tamariki e minaminatia.

to the sones of Assiriens, to duykis and magistratis comynge to hir, that weren clothid with dyuerse cloth, to knyytis that weren borun on horsis, and to yonge men with noble schap, to alle men.

13 Na ka kite ahau kua poke ia, kotahi tonu te ara o raua tokorua.

And Y siy that o weie of both sistris was defoulid,

14 Kua neke ake ano ona moepuku: i kite hoki ia i nga tangata kua oti te tuhituhi ki te pakitara, i nga whakaahua o nga Karari, he mea tuhituhi ki te whero pai,

and sche encreesside hir fornycaciouns. And whanne sche hadde seyn men peyntid in the wal, the ymagis of Caldeis expressid with colouris,

15 He mea whitiki o ratou hope ki te whitiki, o ratou mahunga mea rawa ki te kakahu kua oti te rongoa, he rangatira katoa ki te titiro; ko te ahua kei to nga tama o Papurona, o Karari, o te whenua i whanau ai ratou:

and gird on the reynes with kniytis girdlis, and cappis peyntid in the heedis of hem, the foormes of alle duykis, the licnesse of the sones of Babiloyne, and of the lond of Caldeis, in which thei weren borun;

16 A, no te kitenga o ona kanohi i a ratou, minamina tonu ki a ratou, tukua ana e ia he karere ki a ratou, ki Karari.

17 Na ka haere mai ki a ia o nga tamariki o Papurona ki te moenga aroha, whakapokea ana ia e ratou ki a ratou moepuku: heoi ka whakapokea nei e ratou, na ngakaukore noa iho ia ki a ratou.

And whanne the sones of Babiloyne weren comun to hir, to the bed of tetis, thei defouliden hir in her letcheries of virgyns; and sche was defoulid of hem, and the soule of hir was fillid of hem.

18 Heoi ka whakakitea e ia ona moepuku, ka whakakitea ano ia e noho tahanga ana: na ngakaukore noa iho ahau ki a ia, pera tonu me ahau i ngakaukore ra ki tona tuakana.

Also sche made nakid hir fornicaciouns, and diskyuered hir schenschipe; and my soule yede awei fro hir, as my soule hadde go awei fro hir sistir.

19 Heoi whakanuia ana e ia ona moepuku, me te mahara ano ia ki nga ra o tona tamarikitanga i a ia i kairau ra ki te whenua o Ihipa.

For sche multiplied hir fornicaciouns, and hadde mynde on the daies of hir yongthe, in whiche sche dide fornicacioun in the lond of Egipt.

20 I minamina hoki ia ki o ratou hoa moepuku, he kikokiko kaihe nei o ratou kikokiko; a, ko te mea e tarere mai ana i roto i a ratou rite tonu ki te mea e tarere mai ana i roto i te hoiho.

And thou visitidist the grete trespas of thi yongthe, whanne thi brestis weren maad low in Egipt, and the tetis of the tyme of thi mariage weren brokun.

22 Mo reira, e Ohoripa, ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa, Nana, ka ara i ahau ou hoa aroha hei hoariri mou, era kua ngakaukore na koe ki a ratou, ka kawea mai ano ratou e ahau ki a koe ki nga taha katoa;

Therfor, thou Ooliba, the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal reise alle thi louyeris ayens thee, of whiche thi soule was fillid, and Y schal gadere hem ayens thee in cumpas;

23 Ko nga tangata o Papurona, ratou ko nga Karari katoa, a Pekoro, a Hoa, a Koa, ratou ko nga Ahiriana katoa: he taitamariki ratou katoa e minaminatia, he ariki, he kawana, he rangatira, he rongo nui, he eke hoiho katoa.

the sones of Babiloyne, and alle Caldeis, noble and miyti men, and princes, alle the sones of Assiriens, and yonge men of noble foorme, duykis, and magistratis, alle princes of princes, and named stieris of horsis.

And thei araied with chare and wheel schulen come on thee, the multitude of puplis schulen be armed with haburioun, and scheeld, and basynet, ayens thee on ech side; and Y schal yyue doom bifor hem, and thei schulen deme thee bi her domes.

And Y schal sette my feruour in thee, which thei schulen vse with thee in woodnesse; thei schulen kitte awei thi nose and thin eeris, and thei schulen sle with swerd tho thingis that weren left; thei schulen take thi sones and thi douytris, and thi laste thing schal be deuourid bi fier.

26 Ka huia atu ano e ratou ou kakahu, ka tangohia ano ou mea ataahua.

And thei schulen make thee nakid of thi clothis, and thei schulen take awei the vessels of thi glorie.

27 Heoi ka meinga e ahau tou he kia mutu, me tou moepuku i timata mai ra i te whenua o Ihipa; kia kore ai ou kanohi e ara ki aua mea, kia kore ai ano koe e mahara ki Ihipa a muri ake nei.

And Y schal make thi greet trespasse to reste fro thee, and thi fornicacioun fro the lond of Egipt; and thou schalt not reise thin iyen to hem, and thou schalt no more haue mynde on Egipt.

28 No te mea ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa; Tenei ahau ka hoatu nei i a koe ki te ringa o te hunga e kinongia na e koe, ki roto ki te ringa o te hunga kua ngakaukore na koe ki a ratou.

For the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal yyue thee in to the hondis of hem whiche thou hatist, `in to the hondis of hem of whiche thi soule was fillid,

29 Ka mahi ano ratou i runga i te mauahara ki a koe, a ka riro ou mauiui katoa i a ratou, mahue iho koe i a ratou kahore he kakahu, noho tahanga ana: ka kitea hoki e takoto kau ana ou moepuku, tou he me ou moepuku.

and thei schulen do with thee in hatrede. And thei schulen take awei alle thi trauels, and thei schulen leeue thee nakid, and ful of schenschipe; and the schenschipe of thi fornicaciouns schal be schewid. Thi greet

30 Ka meatia enei mea e ahau ki a koe mo tou whainga atu ki nga tauiwi moepuku ai, mou i poke i a ratou whakapakoko.

trespas and thi fornycaciouns han do these thingis to thee; for thou didist fornicacioun aftir hethene men, among whiche thou were defoulid in the idols of hem.

31 I haere koe i te ara o tou tuakana; na, ka hoatu e ahau tana kapu ki tou ringa.

Thou yedist in the weie of thi sister, and Y schal yyue the cuppe of hir in thin hond.

32 Ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa, Ka inumia e koe te kapu a tou tuakana, aua noa iho ki raro, nui noa atu: ka ai koe hei whakakatanga, hei taunutanga: ranea rawa taua kapu.

The Lord God seith these thingis, Thou schalt drinke the cuppe of thi sistir, the depthe, and the broodnesse; thou that art most able to take, schalt be in to scornyng, and in to mouwyng.

33 Ka ki koe i te haurangi, i te pouri, i te kapu o te ketekete, o te whakangaromanga, i te kapu a tou tuakana, a Hamaria.

Thou schalt be fillid with drunkenesse and sorewe, with the cuppe of mourenyng and of heuynesse, with the cuppe of thi sister Samarie.

34 Ka inumia ano ra e koe, tatau rawa, wawahi rawa i nga maramara, ka hae ano e koe ou u: naku hoki te korero, e ai ta te Ariki, ta Ihowa.

And thou schalt drynke it, and thou schalt drinke of til to the drastis, and thou schalt deuoure the relifs therof, and thou schalt to-reende thi brestis, for Y the Lord spak, seith the Lord God.

35 Ina, ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa; Na, kua wareware na koe ki ahau, kua maka ano ahau e koe ki muri i tou tuara, na pikaua ano e koe tou he me ou moepuku.

Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, For thou hast foryete me, and hast cast forth me bihynde thi bodi, bere thou also thi greet trespas and thi fornicaciouns.

36 I mea ano a Ihowa ki ahau; E te tama a te tangata, e whakawa ranei koe i a Ohora raua ko Ohoripa? whakakitea a raua mea whakarihariha ki a raua;

And the Lord God seide to me, and spak, Sone of man, whether thou demest Ooliba and Oolla, and tellist to hem the grete trespassis of hem?

37 No te mea kua moepuku raua, he toto kei o raua ringa, kua moepuku ano raua ki a raua whakapakoko; kua meinga e raua a raua tamariki, aku i whanau nei i roto i a raua kia tika i roto i te ahi, ki aua whakapakoko, pau tonu atu.

For thei diden auowtrie, and blood was in the hondis of hem, and thei diden fornicacioun with her idols; ferthermore and thei offriden to tho the sones whiche thei gendriden to me, for to be deuourid.

38 Ko tenei ano ta raua i mea ai ki ahau: i taua ra kotahi, whakapokea iho e raua toku wahi tapu, ko aku hapati kua noa i a raua.

But also thei diden this to me, thei defouleden my seyntuarie in that dai, and maden vnhooli my sabatis.

39 I ta raua patunga hoki i a raua tamariki hei mea ki a raua whakapakoko, haere ana raua i taua ra ano ki toku wahi tapu whakanoa ai; na, ko ta raua tena i mea ai i roto i toku whare.

And whanne thei sacrifisiden her sones to her idols, and entriden in to my seyntuarie in that dai, that thei schulden defoule it, thei diden also these thingis in the myddis of myn hous.

40 I unga tangata ano koutou ki te hunga haere mai i tawhiti, he hunga i unga atu nei he karere ki a ratou; na, kua tae mai ratou; mo ratou tau horoi i a koe, mea rawa i ou kanohi ki te pukepoto, whakapaipai rawa i a koe ki nga whakapaipai;

Thei senten to men comyng fro fer, to whiche thei hadden sent messangeris. Therfor lo! thei camen, to whiche thou waischidist thee, and anoyntidist thin iyen with oynement of wymmen, and thou were ourned with wymmens atier.

41 Na noho ana koe, he mea kororia te moenga, i tona taha ko te tepu rite rawa; i runga ko taku whakakakara, ko taku hinu, he mea whakatakoto nau.

Thou satist in a ful fair bed, and a boord was ourned bifor thee; thou settidist myn encense and myn oynement on it.

42 A i taua wahine te nge o te mano tini e noho nakohakoha ana: a i kawea mai i roto i te mano o te tangata nga haurangi o te koraha; a na ratou i whakanoho he poroporo ki o raua ringa, he karauna ataahua ki o raua mahunga.

And a vois of multitude makynge ful out ioye was ther ynne; and in men that weren brouyt of the multitude of men, and camen fro desert, thei settiden bies in the hondis of hem, and faire corouns on the heedis of hem.

43 Katahi ahau ka mea mo taua wahine kua ruruhi nei e moepuku ana, E moepuku ano ranei ratou ki a ia, me ia ano ki a ratou?

And Y seide to hir, that was defoulid in auoutries, Now also this schal do fornycacioun in hir fornicacioun.

44 Heoi haere ana ratou ki a ia, he pera i ta ratou haere ki te wahine moepuku: pera tonu ta ratou haere ki a Ohora, ki a Ohoripa, ki nga wahine he.

And thei entriden to hir; as to a womman, an hoore, so thei entriden to Oolla and to Ooliba, cursid wymmen.

45 Na, ko nga tangata tika, ma ratou raua e whakawa, he whakawa i nga wahine moepuku, he whakawa i nga wahine whakaheke toto; he wahine moepuku hoki raua, he toto kei o raua ringa.

Therfor these men ben iust, these schulen deme thilke wymmen bi the doom of auoutressis, and bi the doom of hem that scheden out blood; for thei ben auoutressis, and blood is in the hondis of hem, and thei diden fornicacioun with her idols.

46 Ko te kupu hoki tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa; Ka kawea mai e ahau he hui ki a raua, a ka meinga raua e ahau kia makamaka, kia pahuatia.

For the Lord God seith these thingis, Bringe thou multitudis to hem, and yyue thou hem in to noise, and in to raueyn;

47 A ka akina raua e te hui ki te kohatu, ka tapahia ki a ratou hoari; ka whakamatea a raua tama, a raua tamahine, ka tahuna ano o raua whare ki te ahi.

and be thei stoonyd with the stoonys of puplis, and be thei stikid togidere with the swerdis of hem. Thei schulen sle the sones and the douytris of hem, and thei schulen brenne with fier the housis of hem.

48 Heoi ka meinga e ahau te puremu kia mutu i te whenua; kia ako ai nga wahine katoa kia kaua a ratou mahi e rite ki o korua he.

And Y schal do awei greet trespas fro the lond; and alle wymmen schulen lerne, that thei do not aftir the greet trespas of hem.

49 Ka hoatu ano e ratou nga utu o to korua he ki a korua, a ka pikaua e korua nga hara o a korua whakapakoko; ka mohio ko te Ariki ahau, ko Ihowa.

And thei schulen yyue youre grete trespas on you; and ye schulen bere the synnes of youre idols, and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord God.
