1 Na, i te whitu o nga tau, i te rima o nga marama, i te tekau o nga ra o te marama, ka haere mai etahi o nga kaumatua o Iharaira ki te rapu tikanga i a Ihowa, a noho ana i toku aroaro.

Und es geschah im siebenten Jahr am zehnten im fünften Monat, daß Männer von den Ältesten Israels kamen, Jehovah zu befragen, und sie saßen vor mir.

Und es geschah zu mir das Wort Jehovahs, sprechend:

Menschensohn, rede mit den Ältesten von Israel und sprich zu ihnen: Also spricht der Herr Jehovah: Seid ihr gekommen, Mich zu befragen? Bei Meinem Leben lasse Ich Mich von euch nicht befragen, spricht der Herr Jehovah.

Willst du sie richten, willst du sie richten, Menschensohn, so tue ihnen die Greuel ihrer Väter zu wissen.

5 Mea atu hoki ki a ratou, Ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa: I te ra i whiriwhiria ai e ahau a Iharaira, i toku ringa i ara ra ki nga uri o te whare o Hakopa, i mohiotia ai ahau e ratou i te whenua o Ihipa, i toku ringa i ara atu ra ki a ratou, i ahau i mea ra, Ko Ihowa ahau, ko to koutou Atua;

Und sprich zu ihnen: Also spricht der Herr Jehovah: Am Tage, da Ich Israel erwählte, und erhob Meine Hand für den Samen des Hauses Jakob und tat Mich ihnen zu wissen im Land Ägypten, und erhob ihnen Meine Hand, sprechend: Ich bin Jehovah, euer Gott.

An selbem Tag erhob Ich Meine Hand für sie, sie herauszubringen aus dem Land Ägypten in ein Land, das für sie Ich ausgespäht hatte, das von Milch und Honig fließt, das die Zierde für alle Länder ist.

Und Ich sprach zu ihnen: Werft ein jeder Mann die Scheusale seiner Augen hin, und mit den Götzen Ägyptens verunreinigt euch nicht! Ich, Jehovah, bin euer Gott.

Und sie wurden widerspenstig wider Mich und wollten nicht auf Mich hören, und kein Mann warf die Scheusale seiner Augen weg, und sie verließen Ägyptens Götzen nicht, so daß Ich sprach, Ich wollte Meinen Grimm ausschütten über sie, allen Meinen Zorn an ihnen zu vollenden mitten im Lande Ägypten.

9 Otiia mahi ana ahau mo toku ingoa kei poke i te tirohanga a nga iwi i noho tahi ratou, i meinga nei e ahau kia mohio ki ahau, i a ratou ra i kite i to ratou whakaputanga mai i te whenua o Ihipa.

Aber Ich tat es um Meines Namens willen, daß er nicht entweiht würde vor den Augen der Völkerschaften, in deren Mitte sie waren, denen Ich vor deren Augen war bekannt geworden, daß Ich sie herausbrachte aus dem Lande Ägypten.

10 Heoi whakaputaina ana ratou e ahau i te whenua o Ihipa, kawea ana ki te koraha.

Und Ich brachte sie heraus aus dem Lande Ägypten und brachte sie herein in die Wüste,

11 I hoatu ano e ahau aku tikanga ki a ratou, i whakakitea atu ano ki a ratou aku whakaritenga e ora ai te tangata ki te mahia e ia.

Und gab ihnen Meine Satzungen und tat ihnen Meine Rechte zu wissen, die der Mensch tun soll, daß er durch sie lebe.

12 I hoatu ano e ahau aku hapati ki a ratou hei tohu ki ahau, ki a ratou, kia mohio ai ratou ko Ihowa ahau, ko to ratou kaiwhakatapu.

Und auch Meine Sabbathe habe Ich ihnen gegeben, daß sie zum Zeichen seien zwischen Mir und ihnen, auf daß sie wüßten, daß Ich, Jehovah, bin, Der sie heiligt.

13 Otiia i whakakeke te whare o Iharaira ki ahau i te koraha; kihai ratou i haere i runga i aku tikanga, paopao ana ratou ki aku whakaritenga e ora ai te tangata ki te mahia e ia; whakapokea rawatia ana e ratou aku hapati: katahi ahau ka mea kia ri ngihia toku weriweri ki a ratou i te koraha, kia moti ra ano ratou.

Aber das Haus Israels war widerspenstig wider Mich in der Wüste; sie wandelten nicht in Meinen Satzungen und verschmähten Meine Rechte, die der Mensch tun soll, daß er durch sie lebe. Und sie entweihten Meine Sabbathe sehr. Und Ich sagte, daß Ich Meinen Grimm in der Wüste werde ausschütten über sie, um sie alle zu machen.

15 I ara ano hoki toku ringa ki a ratou i te koraha kia kaua ratou e kawea ki te whenua e rerengia ana e te waiu, e te honi, ki taku i hoatu ai, he wahi ataahua rawa i nga whenua katoa;

Und auch in der Wüste erhob Ich Meine Hand wider sie, daß Ich sie nicht wollte in das Land hereinbringen, das Ich ihnen gab, welches von Milch und Honig fließt, das die Zierde für alle Länder ist;

16 Mo ratou i paopao ki aku whakaritenga, a kihai i haere i runga i aku tikanga; ko aku hapati hoki whakapokea iho e ratou; he whai no o ratou ngakau i a ratou whakapakoko.

Weil sie Meine Rechte verschmähten und in Meinen Satzungen nicht wandelten und Meine Sabbathe entweihten, indem ihr Herz wandelte ihren Götzen nach.

17 Heoi i tohungia ratou e toku kanohi, kihai i whakangaromia, kihai ano ahau i whakamoti i a ratou i te koraha.

Aber Mein Auge schonte ihrer, daß Ich sie nicht verdarb, und Ich es mit ihnen nicht alle machte in der Wüste.

18 A i mea ahau ki a ratou tamariki i te koraha, Kaua e haere i runga i nga tikanga a o koutou matua, kaua ano e puritia a ratou whakaritenga, kei poke hoki koutou i a ratou whakapakoko.

Und Ich sprach zu ihren Söhnen in der Wüste: Ihr sollt nach eurer Väter Satzungen nicht wandeln und nicht halten ihre Rechte, noch mit ihren Götzen euch verunreinigen.

19 Ko Ihowa ahau, ko to koutou Atua: haere i runga i aku tikanga, puritia aku whakaritenga, mahia;

Ich, Jehovah, bin euer Gott. Nach Meinen Satzungen sollt ihr wandeln und Meine Rechte halten und sie tun.

20 Whakatapua hoki aku hapati; a ka waiho era hei tohu ki ahau, ki a koutou, kia nohio ai koutou ko Ihowa ahau, ko to koutou Atua.

Und Meine Sabbathe sollt ihr heiligen, daß sie ein Zeichen seien zwischen Mir und euch, auf daß ihr wisset, daß Ich, Jehovah, euer Gott bin.

21 Otiia kei te whakakeke nga tamariki ki ahau, kihai i haere i runga i aku tikanga, kihai hoki i pupuri i aku whakaritenga hei mahi ma ratou; ki te mahia hoki ena e te tangata, ka ai hei oranga mona; ko aku hapati hoki, whakapokea iho e ratou: na ko taku kianga ake, kia ringihia toku weriweri ki a ratou, kia whakapaua toku riri ki a ratou i te koraha.

Aber die Söhne waren gegen Mich widerspenstig, sie wandelten nicht in Meinen Satzungen und hielten Meine Rechte nicht, daß sie solche getan hätten, die der Mensch tut und durch sie lebt. Meine Sabbathe entweihten sie; und Ich sagte, Ich wolle Meinen Grimm ausschütten über sie, daß Mein Zorn sie alle mache in der Wüste.

22 Engari ia i whakahokia iho e ahau toku ringa, a mahi ana mo toku ingoa, kei poke i te tirohanga mai a nga iwi i kite nei i taku whakaputanga i a ratou.

Ich kehrte aber Meine Hand zurück und tat es um Meines Namens willen, auf daß er vor den Augen der Völkerschaften nicht entweiht würde, vor deren Augen Ich sie herausgebracht hatte.

23 I ara ano toku ringa ki a ratou i te koraha, mo ratou kia whakamararatia ki roto ki nga tauiwi, kia titaria atu ki nga whenua;

Auch hob Ich in der Wüste Meine Hand auf wider sie, sie zu zerstreuen unter die Völkerschaften und sie zu zersprengen in die Länder,

24 Mo ratou kihai i mahi i aku whakaritenga; mo ratou ano i paopao ki aku tikanga, na whakapokea iho e ratou aku hapati, anga tonu ana o ratou kanohi ki nga whakapakoko a o ratou matua.

Weil sie Meine Rechte nicht taten und Meine Satzungen verschmähten und Meine Sabbathe entweihten und nach den Götzen ihrer Väter waren ihre Augen.

25 Na hoatu ana e ahau ki a ratou he tikanga kahore i pai, he whakaritenga e kore ai ratou e ora.

Und darum gab Ich ihnen auch Satzungen, die nicht gut waren, und Rechte, darinnen sie kein Leben haben konnten.

26 I whakapokea ano ratou e ahau ki a ratou mea homai noa, mo ta ratou meatanga i nga tamariki katoa e oroko puta mai ana i te kopu kia tika i roto i te ahi, he mea e meinga ai ratou e ahau kia noho kau noa iho, kia mohio ai ratou ko Ihowa ahau.

Und ließ sie sich verunreinigen an ihren Gaben, daß sie durch das Feuer durchführten alles, was die Mutter bricht, sie zu verwüsten, auf daß sie wüßten, daß Ich Jehovah bin.

27 Mo reira korero ki te whare o Iharaira, e te tama a te tangata, mea atu ki a ratou, Ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa, Tenei ano tetahi kohukohu a o koutou matua ki ahau, i a ratou i mahi nei i te he ki ahau.

Darum, Menschensohn, sollst du reden zu dem Haus Israel und zu ihnen sprechen: So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Noch darin verhöhnten Mich eure Väter, daß Untreue sie wider Mich begingen.

28 Ka oti ratou te kawe e ahau ki te whenua i ara ai toku ringa kia hoatu a reira ki a ratou, na, ka kite ratou i tena pukepuke tiketike, i tena, i tena rakau pururu, i tena, na patua ana e ratou ki reira a ratou patunga tapu, tapaea ana e ratou ki reira te mea whakapataritari, ta ratou whakahere: mahia ana e ratou ta ratou whakakakara reka ki reira, ringihia ana e ratou ki reira a ratou ringihanga.

Und Ich brachte sie herein zu dem Land, das Ich Meine Hand aufgehoben, ihnen zu geben; und wenn sie sahen irgendeinen emporragenden Hügel, oder irgendeinen dichtbelaubten Baum, so opferten sie da ihre Opfer, und gaben da den Unmut ihrer Opfergaben, und legten hin den Geruch der Ruhe, und gossen ihre Trankopfer aus.

Und Ich sprach zu ihnen: Was ist die Opferhöhe, wohin ihr kommt? Und ihr Name wurde genannt bis auf diesen Tag Bamah.

30 Mo reira mea atu ki te whare o Iharaira, Ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa; Ka whakapoke ranei koutou i a koutou, ka pera me o koutou matua? ka whai ranei koutou i a ratou mea whakarihariha moepuku ai?

Darum sprich zum Hause Israels: So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Wollt ihr euch auf dem Wege eurer Väter verunreinigen und ihren Scheusalen nachbuhlen?

E ora ana ahau, e ai ta te Ariki, ta Ihowa, e kore ahau e pai kia uia e koutou.

Und wenn ihr eure Gaben erhebt, wenn ihr eure Söhne in das Feuer hindurchführt, ihr euch mit allen euren Götzen verunreinigt bis auf diesen Tag, sollte Ich Mich von euch, o Haus Israels, befragen lassen? Bei Meinem Leben, spricht der Herr Jehovah, Ich lasse Mich nicht von euch befragen.

32 Na, ko te mea i puta ake ki o koutou wairua e kore rawa e taea, ta koutou e ki ra, Ka rite tatou ki nga tauiwi, ki nga hapu o nga whenua, ka mahi ki te rakau, ki te kohatu.

Und das, was in eurem Geist aufsteigt, soll nicht geschehen - wie ihr sprecht: Laßt uns sein wie die Völkerschaften, wie die Familien der Länder, daß wir dem Holze und dem Steine Dienst tun.

33 E ora ana ahau, e ai ta te Ariki, ta Ihowa, ina, he ringa kaha toku, he takataka maro, he weriweri kua oti te riringi atu, i ahau ka kawana nei i a koutou.

Bei Meinem Leben, spricht der Herr, Jehovah, mit starker Hand und mit ausgestrecktem Arm und ausgeschüttetem Grimm will Ich über euch regieren,

34 Ka tangohia mai ano koutou e ahau i roto i nga iwi, ka huihuia i nga whenua i whakamararatia atu ai koutou, he meatanga na te ringa kaha, na te takakau maro, na te weriweri kua oti te riringi atu:

Und aus den Völkern euch herausbringen und euch zusammenbringen aus den Ländern, wohin ihr zerstreut seid, mit starker Hand und mit ausgestrecktem Arm und mit ausgeschüttetem Grimm,

35 A ka kawea koutou e ahau ki te koraha o nga iwi, a ki reira ahau whakawa ai i a koutou, he kanohi ki te kanohi.

Und werde euch hereinbringen zu der Wüste der Völker und mit euch allda rechten von Angesicht zu Angesicht.

36 Ka rite ki taku whakawa i o koutou matua i te koraha o te whenua o Ihipa; ka pena ano taku whakawa i a koutou, e ai ta te Ariki, ta Ihowa.

Wie Ich mit euren Vätern habe gerechtet in der Wüste beim Lande Ägypten, so will Ich mit euch rechten, spricht der Herr Jehovah,

37 Ka meinga ano koutou e ahau kia tika i raro i te tokotoko, kia uru ki roto ki te here o te kawenata.

Und lasse euch dann vorüberziehen, unter der Rute und bringe euch herein in das Band des Bundes,

38 Ka tahia atu hoki e ahau i roto i a koutou te hunga whakakeke, te hunga hoki e tutu ana ki ahau: ka tangohia mai ratou e ahau i te whenua e noho nei ratou, engari e kore ratou e tae ki te oneone o Iharaira: a ka mohio koutou ko Ihowa, ahau.

Und scheide von euch aus die Empörer und die von Mir abfielen. Herausbringen werde Ich sie vom Lande ihrer Wanderungen, aber auf den Boden Israels soll keiner kommen, auf daß ihr wisset, daß Ich Jehovah bin.

39 Na, ko koutou, e te whare o Iharaira, ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa; Haere, e mahi ki tana whakapakoko, ki tana whakapakoko, i nga wa e takoto ake nei, ki te kore koutou e rongo ki ahau: kaua ia toku ingoa tapu e whakapokea i muri ki a ko utou mea homai noa, ki a koutou whakapakoko.

Und ihr vom Hause Israels - so spricht der Herr Jehovah - geht, dienet, ein jeder Mann seinen Götzen, danach aber, wenn ihr nicht auf Mich hört, so entweiht nicht mehr Meinen Namen mit euren Gaben und mit euren Götzen.

40 Hei toku maunga tapu hoki hei te maunga o te tairangatanga o Iharaira, e ai ta te Ariki, ta Ihowa, hei reira te whare katoa o Iharaira, ratou katoa i te whenua, mahi ai ki ahau: ko te wahi tera e manako ai ahau ki a ratou, ko te wahi tera e mea ake ai ahau ki a koutou whakahere maku, ki nga matamua o a koutou mea e tapae mai ai, ki a koutou mea tapu katoa.

Denn auf dem Berge Meiner Heiligkeit, auf dem Berg der Höhe Israels, spricht der Herr Jehovah, allda wird dienen Mir das ganze Haus Israels, sie alle im Lande. Dort werde Ich Wohlgefallen haben an ihnen, und allda will Ich fordern eure Hebeopfer und eure Opfergaben, Erstlinge von allem, was ihr Mir heiligt.

41 Ka manako ahau ki a koutou, ano he whakakakara reka, ina tangohia mai koutou e ahau i roto i nga iwi, ina huihuia mai i nga whenua i whakamararatia atu ai koutou; a ka ai koutou hei whakatapu moku i te tirohanga a nga iwi.

Durch den Geruch der Ruhe werde Ich an euch Wohlgefallen haben, wenn Ich euch von den Völkern herausgebracht und euch zusammengebracht habe aus den Ländern, dahin ihr seid zerstreut worden, und werde in euch geheiligt werden in den Augen der Völkerschaften.

42 Na ka mohio koutou ko Ihowa ahau, ina kawea koutou e ahau ki te oneone o Iharaira, ki te whenua i ara ai toku ringa kia hoatu a reira ki o koutou matua.

Und ihr sollt wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin, wenn Ich euch auf Israels Boden hereingebracht, in das Land, das Meine Hand Ich erhob, zu geben euren Vätern.

43 Ka mahara ano koutou i reira ki o koutou ara, ki a koutou mahi katoa i poke ai koutou; a ka whakarihariha koutou ki a koutou, ki ta koutou ake titiro, mo nga mea kikino katoa i mahia e koutou.

Und allda werdet ihr gedenken eurer Wege und aller eurer Handlungen, durch die ihr euch verunreinigt habt, und euch selbst zum Verdruß geworden seid durch all eure Bosheiten, die ihr getan.

44 A ka mohio koutou ko Ihowa ahau, ina ngana ahau ki a koutou, he mea mo toku ingoa, kahore ano ia e rite ki o koutou ara kino, ki a koutou mahi he ranei, e te whare o Iharaira, e ai ta te Ariki, ta Ihowa.

Und ihr sollt wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin, wenn Ich mit euch tue um Meines Namens willen, nicht nach euren bösen Wegen und euren verderblichen Handlungen, du Haus Israel, spricht der Herr Jehovah.

45 I puta mai ano te kupu a Ihowa ki ahau, i mea,

Und es geschah Jehovahs Wort an mich, sprechend:

46 E te tama a te tangata, anga atu tou mata whaka te tonga, kia maturuturu atu ano tau kupu whaka te tonga, poropititia he he mo te ngahere o te parae ki te tonga.

Menschensohn, richte dein Angesicht gen Süden und träufle dem Südwinde zu und weissage über den Wald des Feldes im Mittage,

47 Mea atu hoki ki te ngahere i te tonga, Whakarongo ki te kupu a Ihowa; Ko te kupu tenei a te ariki, a Ihowa, Ka whakaungia e ahau he ahi i roto i a koe, a ka pau nga rakau matomato katoa i roto i a koe, me nga rakau maroke katoa; e kore te mura e tineia, ka mura tonu, ka wera ano nga kanohi katoa i reira, i te tonga tae noa ki te raki.

Und sprich zum Wald im Mittag: Höre das Wort Jehovahs: So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Siehe, Ich entzünde in dir ein Feuer, und es soll in dir allen grünen Baum und allen dürren Baum auffressen, und soll die lohe Flamme nicht erlöschen, und sollen von ihr alle Flächen von Mittag nach Mitternacht verbrannt werden.

48 A ka kite nga kikokiko katoa, naku, na Ihowa i whakau: e kore e tineia.

Und alles Fleisch soll sehen, daß Ich, Jehovah, es brennen lasse. Nicht soll es erlöschen.

49 Ano ra ko ahau, Aue, e te Ariki, e Ihowa! e mea ana ratou ki ahau, he teka ianei he korero whakatauki ana e korero nei?

Und ich sprach: Ach, Herr Jehovah, sie sagen von mir: Führt er nicht Sprichwörter?
