1 A Ka whakahoki a Mohi, ka mea, Na, e kore ratou e whakapono ki ahau, e kore hoki e whakarongo ki toku reo; e mea hoki ratou, Kahore a Ihowa i puta mai ki a koe.
Moyses answeride, and seide, The comyns schulen not bileue to me, nether thei schulen here my vois; but thei schulen seie, The Lord apperide not to thee.
2 A ka mea a Ihowa ki a ia, He aha tena i tou ringa? A ka mea ia, He tokotoko.
Therfor the Lord seide to hym, What is this that thou holdist in thin hond? Moises answeride, A yerde.
3 Na ka mea ia, Maka atu ki te whenua. Na maka ana e ia ki te whenua, na, he nakahi! ko te tino rerenga o Mohi i tona aroaro.
And the Lord seide, Caste it forth into erthe; and he castide forth, and it was turned in to a serpent, so that Moises fledde.
4 Ka mea ano a Ihowa ki a Mohi, Totoro atu tou ringa, hopukia i te hiku: ko te toronga atu o tona ringaringa, hopukina iho, na, kua tokotoko ano ki tona ringa.
And the Lord seide, Holde forth thin hond, and take the tail therof; he stretchide forth, and helde, and it was turned in to a yerde.
5 Kia whakapono ai ratou kua puta ki a koe a Ihowa, te Atua o o ratou matua, te Atua o Aperahama, te Atua o Ihaka, te Atua o Hakopa.
And the Lord seide, That thei bileue, that the Lord God of thi fadris apperide to thee, God of Abraham, and God of Isaac, and God of Jacob.
6 I mea ano a Ihowa ki a ia, Tena, kuhua tou ringa ki tou uma: a kuhua ana e ia tona ringa ki tona uma; te unuhanga ano, na, kua repera tona ringa, kua rite ki te hukarere.
And the Lord seide eft, Putte thin hond in to thi bosum; and whanne he hadde put it in to the bosum, he brouyte forth it leprouse, at the licnesse of snow.
7 I mea ano ia, Whakahokia ano tou ringa ki tou uma: a whakahokia ana ano e ia tona ringa ki tona uma; a, no te unuhanga i tona uma, na, kua hoki, kua rite ki tona kiri ano.
The Lord seide, Withdrawe thin hond in to thi bosum; he withdrow, and brouyte forth eft, and it was lijc the tother fleisch.
8 A, ki te kore ratou e whakapono ki a koe, ki te kore e whakarongo ki te reo o te tohu tuatahi, na, ka whakapono ki te reo o to muri tohu.
The Lord seide, If thei schulen not bileue to thee, nether schulen here the word of the formere signe, thei schulen bileue to the word of the signe suynge;
9 A, ki te kore ano ratou e whakapono ki enei tohu e rua, ki te kore e whakarongo ki tou reo, utuhia e koe ki te wai o te awa, ka riringi ki te oneone maroke; a, ko te wai e utuhia e koe i te awa, hei toto ki runga ki te whenua maroke.
that if thei bileuen not sotheli to these twei signes, nether heren thi vois, take thou watir of the flood, and schedde out it on the drie lond, and what euer thing thou schalt drawe vp of the flood, it schal be turned in to blood.
10 Na ka ki a Mohi ki a Ihowa, E toku Ariki, ehara ahau i te pukorero, i mua, i muri ranei i tau korerotanga ki tau pononga; he reo ngoikore hoki toku he arero paremo.
Moises seide, Lord, Y biseche, Y am `not eloquent fro yistirdai and the thridde dai ago; and sithen thou hast spokun to thi seruaunt, Y am of more lettid and slowere tunge.
11 Na ka mea a Ihowa ki a ia, Na wai i hunga te mangai o te tangata? Na wai hoki i mea kia wahangu, kia turi, kia titiro ranei, kia matapo ranei? Ehara koia i ahau, i a Ihowa?
The Lord seide to hym, Who made the mouth of man, ether who made a doumb man and `deef, seynge and blynd? whether not Y?
12 Na, haere, a hei tou waha ahau, ako ai i a koe ki tau e korero ai.
Therfor go thou, and Y schal be in thi mouth, and Y schal teche thee what thou schalt speke.
13 Na ka mea ia, E toku Ariki, mau ra e nga tau e unga ai.
And he seide, Lord, Y biseche, sende thou whom thou schalt sende.
14 Na ka mura te riri a Ihowa ki a Mohi; ka mea ia, Ehara ianei a Arona Riwaiti i te tuakana nou? E matau ana ahau he pukorero ia. Ina hoki, na, e haere mai nei ia ki te whakatau i a koe; a, ka kite i a koe, ka koa tona ngakau.
And the Lord was wrooth ayens Moises, and seide, Y woot, that Aaron, thi brother, of the lynage of Leuy, is eloquent; lo! he schal go out in to thi comyng, and he schal se thee, and schal be glad in herte.
15 A mau e korero ki a ia, e hoatu nga kupu ki tona waha: a hei tou mangai ahau, hei tona mangai hoki, whakaako ai i a korua ki ta korua e mea ai.
Speke thou to hym, and putte thou my wordis in his mouth, and Y schal be in thi mouth, and in the mouth of hym; and Y schal schewe to you what ye owen to do.
16 A ko ia hei kaikorero mau ki te iwi; a, ko ia, ina, ka ai ia hei mangai mou, ko koe hoki hei atua ki a ia.
He schal speke for thee to the puple, and he schal be thi mouth; forsothe thou schalt be to him in these thingis, that perteynen to God.
17 Maua atu ano tenei tokotoko i tou ringa, e mea ai koe i nga tohu.
Also take thou this yerde in thin hond, in which thou schalt do myraclis.
18 Na haere ana a Mohi, hoki ana ki a Ietoro, ki tona hungawai, a ka mea ki a ia, Tukua ahau kia haere, kia hoki ki oku tuakana i Ihipa, kia kite kei te ora ano ranei ratou. A ka mea a Ietoro ki a Mohi, Haere i runga i te pai.
Moises yede, and turnede ayen to Jetro, his wyues fadir, and seide to hym, Y schal go, and turne ayen to my britheren in to Egipt, that Y se, whether thei lyuen yit. To whom Jetro seide, Go thou in pees.
19 I mea ano a Ihowa ki a Mohi i Miriana, Haere, e hoki ki Ihipa: kua mate katoa hoki nga tangata i whai i a koe kia patua.
Therfor the Lord seide to Moyses in Madian, Go thou, and turne ayen into Egipt; for alle thei ben deed that souyten thi lijf.
20 Na ka mau a Mohi ki tana wahine ratou ko ana tama, a whakanohoia ana ki runga ki te kaihe, a hoki ana ki te whenua o Ihipa: i tango ano a Mohi i te tokotoko a te Atua ki tona ringa.
Moises took his wijf, and hise sones, and puttide hem on an asse, and he turnede ayen in to Egipt, and bar the yerde of God in his hond.
21 I mea ano a Ihowa ki a Mohi, E haere koe, e hoki ki Ihipa, kia mahara kia meatia ki te aroaro o Parao ena merekara katoa kua hoatu na e ahau ki tou ringa: otiia maku e whakapakeke tona ngakau, kia kore ai ia e tuku i te iwi.
And the Lord seide to hym turnynge ayen in to Egipt, Se, that thou do alle wondris, whiche Y haue put in thin hond, bifore Farao; Y schal make hard his herte, and he schal not delyuere the puple; and thou schalt seie to hym,
22 A ka mea koe ki a Parao, Ko te kupu tenei a Ihowa, Ko Iharaira taku tama, taku matamua:
The Lord seith these thingis, My firste gendrid sone is Israel;
23 Ko taku kupu ano tenei ki a koe, Tukua taku tama kia mahi ki ahau: a ki te kore koe e rongo ki te tuku i a ia, na, ka patua e ahau tau tama, tau matamua.
Y seide to thee, delyuere thou my sone, that he serue me, and thou noldist delyuere hym; lo! Y schal sle thi firste gendrid sone.
24 A i a ratou i te whare tira i te ara, na pono pu a Ihowa ki a ia, a ka whai i a ia kia whakamatea.
And whanne Moises was in the weie, in an yn, the Lord cam to him, and wolde sle hym.
25 A ka tango a Hipora i tetahi kohatu koi, a kotia iho te kiri matamata o tana tama, na whakapakia ana e ia ki ona waewae, ka mea, He tane toto koe ki ahau.
Sefora took anoon a moost scharp stoon, and circumcidide the yerde of hir sone; and sche towchide `the feet of Moises, and seide, Thou art an hosebonde of bloodis to me.

And he lefte hym, aftir that sche hadde seid, Thou art an hosebonde of bloodis to me for circumcisioun.
27 Na ka mea a Ihowa ki a Arona, Haere ki te koraha, ki te whakatau i a Mohi, A haere ana ia, a ka tutaki ki a ia ki te maunga o te Atua, ka kihi i a ia.
Forsothe the Lord seide to Aaron, Go thou in to the comyng of Moises in to deseert; which yede ayens Moises in to the hil of God, and kisside him.
28 A korerotia ana e Mohi ki a Arona nga kupu katoa a Ihowa i unga nei i a ia, me nga tohu katoa i ako ai ia ki a ia.
And Moises telde to Aaron alle the wordis of the Lord, for whiche he hadde sent Moises; and `he telde the myraclis, whiche the Lord hadde comaundid.
29 Na haere ana a Mohi raua ko Arona, a whakaminea ana nga kaumatua katoa o nga tama a Iharaira:
And thei camen togidere, and gaderiden alle the eldere men of the sones of Israel.
30 Na korerotia ana e Arona nga kupu katoa i korero ai a Ihowa ki a Mohi, mahia ana hoki e ia nga tohu i te tirohanga a te iwi.
And Aaron spak alle the wordis, whiche the Lord hadde seid to Moises, and he dide the signes bifore the puple;
31 A whakapono tonu te iwi: a, ka rongo ratou kua tae mai a Ihowa ki nga tama a Iharaira, kua titiro ki to ratou whakawhiunga, ka tuohu ratou, ka koropiko.
and the puple bileuede; and thei herden, that the Lord hadde visitid the sones of Israel, and that he hadde biholde the turment of hem; and thei worschipiden lowe.
