< Tiuteronomi 31 >
1 A i haere a Mohi, i korero i enei kupu ki a Iharaira katoa.
And he went Moses and he spoke the words these to all Israel.
2 I mea ia ki a ratou, Ko toku kaumatua i tenei ra ka kotahi rau e rua tekau nga tau; e kore ahau e ahei ano te kopiko atu, te kopiko mai: kua mea mai hoki a Ihowa ki ahau, E kore koe e whiti i tenei Horano.
And he said to them [am] a son of one hundred and twenty year[s] I this day not I am able still to go out and to come and Yahweh he has said to me not you will pass over the Jordan this.
3 Ko Ihowa, ko tou Atua, ko ia e whakawhiti ki mua i a koe; mana e whakangaro atu enei iwi i mua i a koe, a ka riro ratou i a koe: a ko Hohua, ko ia e whiti atu i mua i a koe, ka rite ki ta Ihowa i korero ai.
Yahweh God your he - [is] about to pass over before you he he will destroy the nations these from to before you and you will dispossess them Joshua he [is] about to pass over before you just as he spoke Yahweh.
4 A ka rite ta Ihowa e mea ai ki a ratou ki tana i mea ai ki a Hihona raua ko Oka, ki nga kingi o nga Amori, ki to ratou whenua hoki; i huna nei e ia.
And he will do Yahweh to them just as he did to Sihon and to Og [the] kings of the Amorite[s] and to land their whom he destroyed them.
5 A ka homai ratou e Ihowa ki to koutou aroaro, a ka rite ta koutou e mea ai ki a ratou ki nga whakahau katoa i whakahau ai ahau ki a koutou.
And he will deliver up them Yahweh before you and you will do to them according to all the commandment which I have commanded you.
6 Kia maia, kia toa, kaua e wehi, kaua e pawera i a ratou: no te mea ko Ihowa, ko tou Atua, ko ia te haere tahi ana i a koe; e kore ia e whakarere i a koe, e kore hoki e mawehe atu i a koe.
Be strong and be bold may not you be afraid and may not you be terrified of them for - Yahweh God your he [is] the [one who] goes with you not he will abandon you and not he will forsake you.
And he summoned Moses Joshua and he said to him to [the] eyes of all Israel be strong and be bold for you you will go with the people this into the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors their to give to them and you you will give as an inheritance it them.
8 Ko Ihowa ano, ko ia te haere ana i tou aroaro, hei tou taha ia, e kore ia e whakarere i a koe, e kore hoki e mawehe atu i a koe: kaua e wehi, kaua hoki e pawera.
And Yahweh he - [is] the [one who] goes before you he he will be with you not he will abandon you and not he will forsake you not you must be afraid and not you must be dismayed.
And he wrote down Moses the law this and he gave it to the priests [the] sons of Levi who carry [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and to all [the] elders of Israel.
10 I ako ano a Mohi ki a ratou, i mea, Hei te mutunga o nga tau e whitu, hei te wa ano e rite ai i te tau tuku noa, i te hakari o nga whare wharau,
And he commanded Moses them saying from [the] end of - seven years at [the] appointed time of [the] year of the remission at [the] festival of the booths.
When comes all Israel to appear with [the] presence of Yahweh God your in the place which he will choose you will read aloud the law this before all Israel in ears their.
12 Whakaminea te iwi, nga tane, nga wahine, nga tamariki, me tou tangata iwi ke i roto i ou kuwaha, kia rongo ai ratou, kia whakaakona ai, kia wehi ai i a Ihowa, i to koutou Atua, kia mau ai ki te mahi i nga kupu katoa o tenei ture:
Assemble the people the men and the women and the little one[s] and sojourner your who [is] in gates your so that they may hear and so that they may learn and they will fear Yahweh God your and they will take care to do all [the] words of the law this.
And children their who not they have known they will hear and they will learn to fear Yahweh God your all the days which you [will be] alive on the land where you [are] about to pass over the Jordan there towards to take possession of it.
And he said Yahweh to Moses here! they have drawn near days your to die summon Joshua and present yourselves at [the] tent of meeting so I may commission him and he went Moses and Joshua and they presented themselves at [the] tent of meeting.
And he appeared Yahweh at the tent in a pillar of cloud and it stood [the] pillar of cloud over [the] entrance of the tent.
And he said Yahweh to Moses here you [are] about to lie down with ancestors your and it will arise the people this and it will act as a prostitute - after - [the] gods of foreignness of the land where it [is] about to go there towards in midst its and it will forsake me and it will break covenant my which I made with it.
17 A ka mura toku riri ki a ratou i taua ra, a ka whakarere ahau i a ratou, ka huna hoki i toku kanohi i a ratou, a ka pau ratou, ka pa ano hoki nga kino maha me nga matenga ki a ratou; a ka mea ratou i taua ra, Kahore ianei enei kino i pa mai ki a tatou, no te mea kahore to tatou Atua i roto i a tatou?
And it will burn anger my on it on the day that and I will forsake them and I will hide face my from them and it will be for devouring and they will come upon it calamities many and troubles and it will say on the day that ¿ not on for not God my [is] in midst my have they come upon me the calamities these.
18 Ko ahau ia, ka huna rawa ahau i toku kanohi i taua ra, mo nga kino katoa i meatia e ratou, mo ratou i tahuri ki nga atua ke.
And I certainly I will hide face my on the day that on all the evil which it has done for it has turned to gods other.
And therefore write down for yourselves the song this and teach it [the] people of Israel put it in mouth their so that it may become for me the song this a witness on [the] people of Israel.
If I will bring it into the land - which I swore to ancestors its flowing of milk and honey and it will eat and it will be satisfied and it will grow fat and it will turn to gods other and they will serve them and they will spurn me and it will break covenant my.
And it will be that they will come upon it calamities many and troubles and it will testify the song this before it to a witness for not it will be forgotten from [the] mouth of offspring its for I know intention its which it [is] making this day before I will bring it into the land which I swore.
22 Na tuhituhia ana e Mohi tenei waiata i taua rangi ano, a whakaakona ana ki nga tama a Iharaira.
And he wrote down Moses the song this on the day that and he taught it [the] people of Israel.
23 A i whakahau ano ia i a Hohua, i te tama a Nunu, i mea, Kia maia, kia toa: mau hoki e kawe nga tama a Iharaira ki te whenua i oati ai ahau ki a ratou: a hei a koe ahau.
And he commissioned Joshua [the] son of Nun and he said be strong and be bold for you you will bring [the] people of Israel into the land which I swore to them and I I will be with you.
And it was - when finished Moses to write down [the] words of the law this on a book until were complete they.
And he commanded Moses the Levites [who] carry [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh saying.
Take [the] book of the law this and you will put it from [the] side of [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh God your and it will become there on you a witness.
27 No te mea e mohio ana ahau ki tou tutu, ki tou kaki maro: nana, i ahau e ora nei ano i a koutou i tenei ra, e tutu ana ano koutou ki a Ihowa; a ka mate ahau, tera noa ake!
For I I know rebellion your and neck your stiff here! when still I [am] alive with you this day rebellious you have been with Yahweh and indeed? for after death my.
Assemble to me all [the] elders of tribes your and officials your and let me speak in ears their the words these so I may call as witnesses against them the heavens and the earth.
29 No te mea e mohio ana ahau, ko muri i toku matenga taka rawa ai koutou, peka ke ai i te huarahi i kiia atu e ahau ki a koutou; a ka pono mai te kino ki a koutou i nga ra whakamutunga; mo koutou ka mahi i te kino i te tirohanga a Ihowa, hei whaka pataritari i a ia ki te mahi a o koutou ringa.
For I know after death my that certainly you will act corruptly! and you will turn aside from the way which I have commanded you and it will happen to you evil at [the] end of the days for you will do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh to provoke to anger him by [the] work of hands your.
And he spoke Moses in [the] ears of all [the] assembly of Israel [the] words of the song this until were complete they.
