Therfor men Jewis ben, Sidrac, Mysaac, and Abdenago, whiche thou hast ordeynede on the werkis of the cuntrei of Babiloyne. Thou kyng, these men han dispisid thi decree; thei onouren not thi goddis, and thei worshipen not the goldun ymage, which thou reisidist.

That if he nyle, be it knowun to thee, thou kyng, that we onouren not thi goddis, and we worschipen not the goldun ymage, which thou hast reisid.
Thanne Nabugodonosor was fillid of woodnesse, and the biholdyng of his face was chaungid on Sidrac, Misaac, and Abdenago. And he comaundide, that the furneis schulde be maad hattere seuenfold, than it was wont to be maad hoot.
20 I whakahau ano ia i nga tangata kaha rawa o tana ope kia herea a Hataraka, a Mehaka, a Apereneko, kia maka ki roto ki te oumu he mura rawa nei te ngiha.

Thanne kyng Nabugodonosor was astonyed, and roos hastily, and seide to hise beste men, Whether we senten not thre men feterid in to the myddis of the fier? Whiche answeriden the kyng, and seiden, Verili, kyng.
25 Ka whakahoki ia, ka mea, Nana, tokowha nga tangata e kitea nei e ahau, kahore he here, e haereere ana i waenganui o te ahi, kahore hoki e ahatia; na, ko te ahua o te tuawha kei to te Tama a te Atua.

28 Ka korero a Nepukaneha, ka mea, Kia whakapaingia te Atua o Hataraka, o Mehaka, o Apereneko, nana nei i unga mai tana anahera, a whakaorangia ana e ia ana pononga i whakawhirinaki nei ki a ia, i whakaputa ke nei i te kupu a te kingi, a tukua ana e ratou o ratou tinana, he mea kei mahi ratou, kei koropiko ki tetahi atu atua, engari ki to ratou Atua anake.
And Nabugodonosor brac out, and seide, Blessid be the God of hem, that is, of Sidrac, Mysaac, and Abdenago, that sente his aungel, and delyueride hise seruauntis, that bileuyden in to hym, and chaungiden the word of the kyng, and yauen her bodies, that thei schulden not serue, and that thei schulden not worschipe ony god, outakun her God aloone.
29 Na ko taku ture tenei e whakatakoto nei, na, ko nga tangata, ko te iwi, ko te reo, he kupu kino nei tana mo te Atua o Hataraka, o Mehaka, o Apereneko, ka haehaea ratou, a ka meinga o ratou whare hei puranga paru: no te mea kahore atu he atua he rite tana whakaora ki ta tenei.
