< 1 Hamuera 2 >
1 Na ka karakia a Hana, ka mea, E whakamanamana ana toku ngakau ki a Ihowa, kua ara toku haona i a Ihowa; ka rahi toku waha ki oku hoariri; noku ka koa ki tau whakaoranga.
And she prayed Hannah and she said it rejoices heart my in Yahweh it is exalted horn my in Yahweh it has opened wide mouth my on enemies my for I rejoiced in deliverance your.
2 Kahore he mea tapu, ko Ihowa anake; kahore ke atu, ko koe anake: kahore ano hoki he kamaka hei rite mo to tatou Atua.
There not [is] a holy [one] like Yahweh for there not [is] except you and there not [is] a rock like God our.
3 Kati te whakanui i te korero whakahihi; kei puta te whakapehapeha i o koutou mangai: he Atua mohio hoki a Ihowa, a ka paunatia e ia nga mahi.
May not you multiply you will speak haughty haughty it goes out arrogance from mouth your for [is] a God of knowledge Yahweh (and by him *Q(K)*) they are measured deeds.
4 Whati ana nga kopere a te hunga marohirohi; a ko te hunga i tutuki te waewae, ko te kaha hei whitiki mo ratou.
[the] bow of Warriors [are] shattered and [those who] stumble they gird on strength.
5 E mahi ana hei utu taro te hunga i makona i mua; a mutu ake ta te hunga i matekai: heoi kua tokowhitu a te pakoko i whanau ai; a iwikore noa iho te mea kua tokomaha nei ana tamariki.
Satisfied [people] for food they hire themselves out and hungry [people] they cease to a barren [woman] she bears seven [children] and [a woman] many of sons she languishes.
(Sheol )
Yahweh [is] killing and [is] restoring to life [he is] bringing down Sheol and he has brought up. (Sheol )
7 Ko Ihowa hei whakarawakore, ko ia hei whakawhiwhi ki te taonga: mana e whakaiti, mana ano hoki e whakaara.
Yahweh [is] making poor and [is] making rich [he is] bringing low also [is] exalting.
[he is] raising up From [the] dust [the] poor from [the] ash heap he lifts up [the] needy to cause [them] to dwell with noble [people] and a throne of honor he makes inherit them for [belong] to Yahweh [the] pillars of [the] earth and he set on them [the] world.
[the] feet of (Faithful [people] his *Q(K)*) he will protect and wicked [people] in the darkness they will be silenced for not by strength he will prevail anyone.
Yahweh they will be shattered ([those who] contend against him *Q(K)*) (on him *Q(k)*) in the heavens he will thunder Yahweh he will judge [the] ends of [the] earth so he may give strength to king his and he will exalt [the] horn of anointed his.
And he went Elkanah Ramah towards on house his and the lad he was serving Yahweh with [the] presence of Eli the priest.
And [the] sons of Eli [were] sons of worthlessness not they knew Yahweh.
13 Na ko te tikanga tenei a nga tohunga i roto i te iwi; i te patunga a tetahi i te whakahere, ka haere te tangata a te tohunga, i te mea kei te kohua ano nga kiko, me te marau e toru nei nga koikoi i tona ringa;
And [the] custom of the priests with the people every person [who] was sacrificing a sacrifice and he came [the] servant of the priest when boiled the meat and the fork [the] three the prongs [was] in hand his.
And he thrust [it] in the pot or in the kettle or in the caldron or in the pot all that it brought up the fork he took the priest for himself thus they did to all Israel who came there at Shiloh.
Also before they made smoke! the fat and he came - [the] servant of the priest and he said to the man who was sacrificing give! meat to roast to the priest and not he will accept from you meat boiled that except raw.
And he said to him the man surely let them make smoke! as the day the fat and take for yourself just as it desires appetite your and he said - (no *Q(K)*) that now you will give [it] and if not I take [it] by force.
And it was [the] sin of the young men great very with [the] presence of Yahweh for they treated with contempt the men [the] offering of Yahweh.
And Samuel [was] serving with [the] presence of Yahweh a lad girded an ephod of linen.
And a robe small she made for him mother his and she brought it up to him from days - days towards when went up she with husband her to sacrifice [the] sacrifice of the days.
And he blessed Eli Elkanah and wife his and he said may he appoint Yahweh for you offspring from the woman this in place of the petition which someone asked to Yahweh and they went to place his.
21 Na ka titiro a Ihowa ki a Hana, a ka hapu ano ia, ka whanau, tokotoru nga tama, tokorua nga kotiro. A tupu ana te tamaiti, a Hamuera, i te aroaro o Ihowa.
For he visited Yahweh Hannah and she conceived and she bore three sons and two daughters and he grew up the lad Samuel with Yahweh.
And Eli he was old exceedingly and he heard all that they did! sons his to all Israel and [he heard] this: they were lying with! the women who were serving [the] opening of [the] tent of meeting.
23 Na ka mea ia ki a raua, He aha korua i mahi ai i enei mea? kua rongo hoki ahau ki tenei iwi katoa ki a korua mahi kino.
And he said to them why? are you doing! according to the things these that I [am] hearing things your wicked from with all the people these.
24 Kati ra, e aku tama; ehara hoki i te pai te korero e rangona nei e ahau: e mea ana korua i te iwi o Ihowa kia peka ke.
May not [it be] O sons my for [is] not good the report which I [am] hearing [which are] spreading [the] people of Yahweh.
If he will sin a person to a person and he will mediate for him God and if to Yahweh he will sin a person who? will he intercede for him and not they listened to [the] voice of father their for he desired Yahweh to put to death them.
26 A nui haere ana ano taua tamaiti, a Hamuera, e paingia ana e Ihowa, e nga tangata.
And the lad Samuel [was] going and [was] growing up and he was good both with Yahweh as well as with people.
And he came a man of God to Eli and he said to him thus he says Yahweh ¿ really did I reveal myself to [the] house of ancestor your when were they in Egypt to [the] house of Pharaoh.
28 Kahore ranei ahau i whiriwhiri i a ia i roto i nga iwi katoa o Iharaira hei tohunga moku, hei whakaeke whakahere ki runga ki taku aata, hei tahu whakakakara, hei kakahu i te epora ki toku aroaro? a hoatu ana ki te whare o tou papa nga whakahere ahi katoa a nga tamariki a Iharaira?
And I chose him from all [the] tribes of Israel for myself to a priest to go up on altar my to make smoke incense to bear an ephod before me and I gave! to [the] house of ancestor your all [the] fire offerings of [the] people of Israel.
29 A he aha koutou i takahi ai i oku patunga tapu, i oku whakahere, i kiia e ahau mo toku nohoanga; i a koe ka whakahonore nei i au tama ki runga ake i ahau, a ka tetere nei koutou i nga mea papai o nga whakahere katoa a Iharaira, a taku iwi?
Why? do you kick at sacrifice my and at offering my which I commanded a dwelling place and you honor sons your more than me by fattening yourselves from [the] choicest of every offering of Israel of people my.
30 Na reira tenei kupu a Ihowa, a te Atua o Iharaira, He tika i mea ahau, ko tou whare me te whare o tou matua ka haere i toku aroaro a ake ake: na ko ta Ihowa kupu tenei inaianei, Kahore ra hoki; ka whakahonore hoki ahau i te hunga e whakahonore a na i ahau, ka whakaiti ano i te hunga e whakahawea ana ki ahau.
Therefore [the] utterance of Yahweh [the] God of Israel certainly I said house your and [the] house of ancestor your they will walk about before me until perpetuity and now [the] utterance of Yahweh far be it to me for [those who] honor me I will honor and [those who] despise me they will be insignificant.
31 Nana, meake puta nga ra e tapahia ai e ahau tou ringa, me te ringa o te whare o tou papa, a kore iho tetahi koroheke i roto i tou whare.
Here! days [are] coming and I will cut off arm your and [the] arm of [the] house of ancestor your from being an old [man] in house your.
32 A ka kite koe i te tukinotanga i toku nohoanga, i nga pai katoa e hoatu e te Atua ki a Iharaira; e kore ano tou whare e whai koroheke a ake ake.
And you will look at [the] distress of a dwelling place in all that he will do good to Israel and not he will be an old [man] in house your all the days.
33 Na, ko te tangata au e kore e hautopea atu i taku aata, ka ai ia hei whakapaunga mo ou kanohi, hei whakamamae mo tou ngakau: whakakaumatua kau hoki nga whanau hou o tou whare, ka mate i to ratou taiohinga.
And a man not I will cut off to you from with altar my to cause to fail eyes your and to cause to grieve self your and all [the] increase of house your they will die men.
And this for you [will be] the sign which it will come to [the] two sons your to Hophni and Phinehas on a day one they will die both of them.
35 A ka whakaarahia ake e ahau he tohunga pono maku, hei mahi i ta toku ngakau, i ta toku hinengaro i pai ai, maku ano e hanga he whare pumau mona; a ka haereere ia i nga ra katoa i te aroaro o taku e whakawahi ai.
And I will raise up for myself a priest faithful according to [that] which [is] in heart my and in soul my he will act and I will build for him a house sure (and he will walk about *LAH(b)*) before anointed my all the days.
36 A, ko te hunga katoa e mahue iho ki tou whare, ka haere mai, ka piko iho ki a ia mo tetahi pihi hiriwa, mo tetahi wahi taro, ka mea, Tena koe, kia uru atu ahau ki tetahi o nga mahi tohunga, kia kai ai ahau i tetahi kongakonga taro.
And it will be every [one who] remains in house your he will come to bow down to him for a payment of silver and a round loaf of bread and he will say attach me please to one of the priesthoods to eat a piece of bread.
