Und sie blieben drei Jahre ohne Streit zwischen Aram und Israel.
2 Na i te toru o nga tau ka haere iho a Iehohapata kingi o Hura ki raro, ki te kingi o Iharaira.
Im dritten Jahre aber geschah es, daß Jehoschaphat, der König Judahs, herabkam zum König von Israel.
3 Na ka mea te kingi o Iharaira ki ana tangata, E mohio ana ranei koutou no tatou Ramoto Kireara, a e ata noho nei tatou, kahore e tangohia e tatou i te ringa o te kingi o Hiria?
Und der König von Israel sprach zu seinen Knechten: Wisset ihr, daß Ramoth Gilead unser ist, und wir schweigen, ohne es aus der Hand von Arams König zu nehmen?
4 Na ka mea ia ki a Iehohapata, ka haere ranei koe, taua ki Ramoto Kireara ki te whawhai? Ano ra ko Iehohapata ki te kingi o Iharaira, Ko ahau, ko koe, taua taua; ko toku iwi, ko tou iwi, ratou ratou; ko oku hoiho, ko ou hoiho, rite tonu.
Und er sprach zu Jehoschaphat: Willst du mit mir nach Ramoth Gilead zum Streite ziehen? Und Jehoschaphat sprach zu dem König von Israel: Ich wie du, mein Volk wie dein Volk, meine Rosse wie deine Rosse.

Und Jehoschaphat sprach zum König von Israel: Erfrage doch noch heute das Wort Jehovahs.
6 Katahi ka huihuia nga poropiti e te kingi o Iharaira, e wha rau aua tangata. Na ka mea ia ki a ratou, Me haere ranei ahau ki Ramoto Kireara ki te whawhai, kauaka ranei? Ano ra ko ratou; Haere; ma te Ariki hoki e homai ki te ringa o te kingi.
Und der König Israels ließ die Propheten, bei vierhundert Mann, zusammenkommen, und sprach zu ihnen: Soll ich wider Ramoth Gilead zum Streite ziehen, oder soll ich es unterlassen? Und sie sprachen: Zieh hinauf, und der Herr wird es geben in die Hand des Königs.

Und Jehoschaphat sprach: Ist kein Prophet Jehovahs mehr allhier, daß wir ihn befragen?
8 Ano ra ko te kingi o Iharaira ki a Iehohapata, Tenei ano tetahi, ko Mikaia tama a Imira hei rapunga atu ma tatou i ta Ihowa: otiia e kino ana ahau ki a ia; kahore hoki ana poropiti pai moku; engari he kino. Na ka mea a Iehohapata, Kaua e pena te kupu a te kingi.
Und der König von Israel sprach zu Jehoschaphat: Noch ist ein Mann da, durch den wir Jehovah könnten befragen; aber ich hasse ihn, denn er weissagt mir nichts Gutes, sondern nur Böses, Michajehu, der Sohn Jimlahs. Und Jehoschaphat sprach: Nicht spreche der König also.

Und der König von Israel rief einen Hofbeamten und sprach: Bringe eilig Michajehu, den Sohn Jimlahs.
10 Na ka noho te kingi o Iharaira raua ko Iehohapata kingi o Hura, tena i runga i tona torona, tena i runga i tona torona, rakai rawa ki o raua kakahu, i te wahi takoto kau i te tomokanga ki te kuwaha o Hamaria; me te poropiti ano nga poropiti kato a i to raua aroaro.
Der König von Israel aber und Jehoschaphat, der König von Judah, saßen jeder Mann auf seinem Throne, angetan mit Kleidern, auf einer Tenne am Eingang des Tores von Samaria, und alle Propheten weissagten vor ihnen.
11 Na ka meatia e Terekia tama a Kenaana etahi haona rino mana, a ka mea ia, Ko te kupu tenei a Ihowa, Ka pana nga Hiriani e koe ki enei a poto noa.
Und Zidkijah, der Sohn Kenaanahs, machte ihm Hörner von Eisen und sprach: So spricht Jehovah: Mit diesen wirst du Aram stoßen, bis sie ausgetilgt sind.

Und alle Propheten weissagten so und sprachen: Zieh hinauf gen Ramoth Gilead und es wird gelingen, und Jehovah wird es geben in die Hand des Königs.
13 A i korero te karere i haere ki te karanga i a Mikaia, i mea ki a ia, Nana, ko nga kupu a nga poropiti ki te kingi kotahi tonu te mangai mo te pai: na kia rite tau kupu ki ta tetahi o ratou, kia pai au korero.
Der Bote aber, der ging, Michajehu zu rufen, redete zu ihm und sprach: Siehe doch, die Worte der Propheten sind mit einem Munde gut für den König, möge doch dein Wort sein, wie das Wort von einem derselben, daß du möchtest Gutes reden.
14 Na ka mea a Mikaia, E ora ana a Ihowa, ina, ko ta Ihowa e korero mai ai ki ahau, ko taku tena e korero ai.
Und Michajehu sprach: Beim Leben Jehovahs, was Jehovah zu mir spricht, das werde ich reden.
15 A, no tona taenga ki te kingi, ka mea te kingi ki a ia, E Mikaia, me haere ranei matou ki Ramoto Kireara ki te whawhai, kaua ranei? Ano ra ko tera ki a ia, Haere, kia taea hoki tau; kua hoatu hoki e Ihowa ki te ringa o te kingi.
Und er kam zum König und der König sprach zu ihm: Michajehu, sollen wir gen Ramoth Gilead zum Streite ziehen, oder sollen wir es unterlassen? Und er sprach zu ihm: Zieh hinauf und es gelinge, und Jehovah wird es in die Hand des Königs geben.

Und der König sprach zu ihm: Wie viele Male soll ich dich beschwören, daß du im Namen Jehovahs nichts denn Wahrheit zu mir reden sollst?
17 Na ka ki tera, I kite ahau i a Iharaira katoa e marara noa ana i runga i nga maunga, koia ano kei nga hipi kahore nei o ratou kaitiaki, a i mea a Ihowa, Kahore o enei ariki; kia hoki marie tera, tera, ki o ratou whare.
Und er sprach: Ich sah ganz Israel zerstreut auf den Bergen, wie eine Herde, die keinen Hirten hat. Und Jehovah sprach: Keine Herren haben diese, es kehre jeder Mann im Frieden nach seinem Haus zurück.
18 Na ka mea te kingi o Iharaira ki a Iehohapata, Kahore ianei ahau i ki atu ki a koe, e kore e pai tana poropiti moku; engari he kino?
Und der König von Israel sprach zu Jehoschaphat: Habe ich es dir nicht gesagt, nichts Gutes, sondern Böses weissagt er mir?
19 Na ka ki tera, Mo reira whakarongo mai ki te kupu a Ihowa; i kite ahau i a Ihowa e noho ana i runga i tona torona, i te mano katoa ano o te rangi e tu ana i tona taha ki matau, i tona taha ki maui.
Und er sprach: Darum höre das Wort Jehovahs: Ich sah Jehovah auf Seinem Throne sitzen, und alles Heer der Himmel bei Ihm stehen zu Seiner Rechten und zu Seiner Linken.
20 Na ka mea a Ihowa, Ko wai hei whakapati i a Ahapa kia haere ai, kia hinga ai ki Ramoto Kireara? Na puta ke ta tenei kupu, puta ke ta tenei kupu.
Und Jehovah sprach: Wer beredet Achab, daß er hinaufziehe und falle in Ramoth Gilead? Und dieser sprach so und jener sprach so.
21 Na ka puta tetahi wairua, ka tu ki te aroaro o Ihowa, ka mea, Maku ia e whakapati.
Und es kam ein Geist hervor und stand vor Jehovahs Angesicht und sprach: Ich will ihn bereden. Und Jehovah sprach zu ihm: Womit?
22 A ka mea a Ihowa ki a ia, Me pehea? ano ra ko tera, Me haere ahau, a hei wairua teka ahau i roto i nga mangai o ana poropiti katoa. Na ka mea ia, Mau ia e whakapati, ka taea ano e koe: haere, meatia tau na.
Und er sprach: Ich will ausgehen und im Munde aller seiner Propheten sein ein Geist der Lüge. Und Er sprach: Du wirst bereden und es vermögen. Gehe aus und tue so.
23 Na kua hoatu inaianei e Ihowa he wairua teka ki te mangai o enei poropiti katoa au, a kua kino ta Ihowa korero mou.
Und nun siehe, Jehovah hat einen Geist der Lüge in den Mund aller dieser deiner Propheten gegeben, aber Jehovah hat Böses wider dich geredet.
24 Na ka whakatata a Terekia tama a Kenaana, ka papaki i te paparinga o Mikaia, ka mea, I na hea te haerenga atu o te wairua o Ihowa i ahau ki a koe korero ai?
Und es trat herzu Zidkijahu, der Sohn Kenaanahs, und schlug den Michajehu auf den Backen, und sprach: Wie ist der Geist Jehovahs von mir hinübergezogen, daß er mit dir rede?
25 Ano ra ko Mikaia, Tera koe e kite i te ra e haere ai koe ki tetahi ruma i roto rawa piri ai.
Und Michajehu sprach: Siehe, du wirst ihn sehen an selbem Tage, da du von Kammer zu Kammer hineingehst, um dich zu verstecken.
26 Na ka mea te kingi o Iharaira, Kawea atu a Mikaia, whakahokia ki a Amono rangatira o te pa, ki a Ioaha tama a te kingi;
Und der König von Israel sprach: Nimm Michajehu und bringe ihn zurück zu Amon, dem Obersten der Stadt, und zu Joasch, dem Sohn des Königs,
27 Ki atu hoki, Ko te kupu tenei a te kingi, Hoatu tenei ki te whare herehere, whangaia ki te taro o te tangihanga, ki te wai o te tangihanga, kia hoki mai ra ano ahau i runga i te rangimarie.
Und sprich: So spricht der König: Lege diesen in das Haus des Kerkers, und lasset ihn Brot der Trübsal essen und Wasser der Trübsal, bis ich im Frieden komme.
28 Ano ra ko Mikaia, Ki te hoki mai koe i runga i te rangimarie, ehara ahau i te kaiwhakapuaki i a Ihowa korero. I mea ano ia, Whakarongo, e nga iwi, e koutou katoa!
Michajehu aber sprach: Wenn du im Frieden zurückkehrst, so hat Jehovah nicht in mir geredet. Und er sprach: Hört es, ihr Völker alle!
29 Heoi haere ana te kingi o Iharaira raua ko Iehohapata kingi o Hura ki runga, ki Ramoto Kireara.
Und der König von Israel und Jehoschaphat, Judahs König, zogen hinauf gen Ramoth Gilead.
30 Na ka mea te kingi o Iharaira ki a Iehohapata, Me whakaputa ke toku ahua, ka haere ki te whawhai: ko koe ia kakahuria ou kakahu. Na whakaputa ke ana te kingi o Iharaira i tona ahua, a haere ana ki te whawhai.
Und der König von Israel sprach zu Jehoschaphat: Ich will mich unkenntlich machen, und so in den Streit kommen; du aber zieh deine Kleider an. Und der König von Israel machte sich unkenntlich und kam in den Streit.
31 Na kua oti i te kingi o Hiria te whakahau ana rangatira e toru tekau ma rua, nga kaiwhakahaere o ana hariata, kua mea, Kaua e whawhai ki te iti, ki te rahi; engari ki te kingi anake o Iharaira.
Und Arams König hatte den Obersten der Streitwagen, er hatte deren zweiunddreißig, geboten und gesagt: Ihr sollt nicht streiten wider klein noch groß, sondern wider den König von Israel allein.
32 A, no te kitenga o nga rangatira o nga hariata i a Iehohapata, ka mea ratou, Koia ano tenei te kingi o Iharaira. Na peka ana ratou ki a ia ki te whawhai ki a ia. Na ko te hamamatanga o Iehohapata.
Und es geschah, daß die Obersten der Streitwagen den Jehoschaphat sahen und sprachen: Dies ist gewißlich der König von Israel, und lenkten ab, um mit ihm zu streiten. Und Jehoschaphat schrie.
33 A, i te kitenga o nga rangatira o nga hariata ehara ia i te kingi o Iharaira, hoki ana ratou i te whai i a ia.
Und es geschah, da die Obersten der Streitwagen sahen, daß er nicht der König von Israel wäre, wandten sie sich hinter ihm zurück.
34 Na ka kumea te kopere e tetahi tangata, he mea noa iho, tu tonu te kingi o Iharaira i waenga pu o te hononga iho o te pukupuku. Na ka mea ia ki te kaiarataki o tana hariata, Tahuri tou ringa; kawea atu ahau i roto i te ope; kua tu hoki ahau, he tu kino.
Ein Mann aber spannte in Einfalt den Bogen und schoß den König von Israel zwischen die Fugen und den Panzer, und er sprach zu seinem Wagenführer: Kehre deine Hand um, und bringe mich vom Heere weg; denn ich bin verwundet.

Und der Streit stieg auf an selbigem Tage, und der König blieb stehen im Streitwagen, Aram gegenüber; und am Abend starb er, und das Blut der Wunde floß auf den Boden des Streitwagens.
36 Na ka pa te karanga puta noa i te ope i te mea ka to te ra; ko te kupu tenei, Ki tona pa, ki tona whenua, e tera tangata, e tera tangata!
Und der Klageruf ging hin durch das Lager, als die Sonne unterging und sagte: Jeder Mann hin zu seiner Stadt und zu seinem Land!
37 Heoi ka mate te kingi, a ka kawea ki Hamaria, tanumia iho e ratou te kingi ki Hamaria.
Und der König starb und kam nach Samaria, und sie begruben den König in Samaria.
38 A i horoia te hariata ki te poka wai i Hamaria; a mitikia ana ona toto e nga kuri: na he wahi horoinga tera no nga wahine kairau; ko ta Ihowa ia korero ai.
Und man spülte den Streitwagen am Teiche Samariens aus, und die Hunde leckten sein Blut; und die Buhldirnen badeten da, nach dem Worte Jehovahs, das er geredet hatte.
39 Na, ko era atu mahi a Ahapa me nga mea katoa i mea ai ia, me te whare rei i hanga e ia, me nga pa katoa i hanga e ia, kahore ianei i tuhituhia ki te pukapuka o nga meatanga o nga ra o nga kingi o Iharaira?
Und das übrige der Geschichte Achabs und alles, was er getan, und das Haus von Elfenbein, das er gebaut, und alle die Städte, die er gebaut, sind sie nicht geschrieben im Buche der Tagesgeschichte der Könige Israels?
40 Na moe ana a Ahapa ki ona matua, a ko tana tama, ko Ahatia, te kingi i muri i a ia.
Und Achab lag bei seinen Vätern, und sein Sohn Achasjahu ward König an seiner Stelle.
41 No te wha o nga tau o Ahapa kingi o Iharaira i kingi ai a Iehohapata tama a Aha ki a Hura.
Und Jehoschaphat, Asas Sohn, war im vierten Jahre Achabs, des Königs von Israel, König über Judah geworden.

Jehoschaphat war fünfunddreißig Jahre alt, da er König ward, und regierte fünfundzwanzig Jahre in Jerusalem; und der Name seiner Mutter war Asubah, eine Tochter des Schilchi.

Und er wandelte in allen Wegen Asas, seines Vaters, und wich nicht davon ab, und tat, was recht war in den Augen Jehovahs.
44 A i houhia te rongo e Iehohapata ki te kingi o Iharaira.
Nur taten sie die Opferhöhen nicht weg; noch opferte und räucherte das Volk auf den Opferhöhen.
45 Na, ko era atu meatanga a Iehohapata me ana mahi toa, me ana whawhaitanga, kahore ianei i tuhituhia ki te pukapuka o nga meatanga o nga ra o nga kingi o Hura?
Und Jehoschaphat hielt Frieden mit dem Könige Israels.
46 I whakamotitia atu ano e ia i te whenua era atu o te hunga whakahoroma i mahue nei i nga ra o tona papa, o Aha.
Und das übrige der Geschichte Jehoschaphats, und seine Macht, die er gewann, und wie er gestritten, sind sie nicht geschrieben im Buche der Tagesgeschichte der Könige Judahs?
47 Na i taua wa kahore o Eroma kingi: he kawana te kingi.
Die übrigen der Buhlknaben aber, die noch in den Tagen Asas, seines Vaters, verblieben waren, schaffte er aus dem Lande weg.

Und kein König war in Edom, ein Statthalter war König.

Jehoschaphat machte Tharschischschiffe, um nach Ophir des Goldes wegen zu gehen, aber keines ging; denn die Schiffe zerbrachen in Ezjon-Geber.
50 Na ka moe a Iehohapata ki ona matua, a tanumia ana ki ona matua ki te pa o tona tupuna, o Rawiri; a ko tana tama, ko Iehorama te kingi i muri i a ia.
Damals sprach Achasjahu, der Sohn Achabs, zu Jehoschaphat: Laß meine Knechte mit deinen Knechten auf den Schiffen ziehen; Jehoschaphat aber willigte nicht ein.
51 No te tekau ma whitu o nga tau o Iehohapata kingi o Hura i kingi ai a Ahatia tama a Ahapa ki a Iharaira i Hamaria; a e rua nga tau i kingi ai ia ki a Iharaira.
Und Jehoschaphat entschlief zu seinen Vätern, und ward begraben bei seinen Vätern in der Stadt Davids, seines Vaters, und Jehoram, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Stelle.
52 A i kino tana mahi ki te aroaro o Ihowa, i haere hoki i te ara o tona papa, i te ara o tona whaea, i te ara ano o Ieropoama tama a Nepata, i hara ai a Iharaira:
Achasjahu, der Sohn Achabs, ward König über Israel in Samaria im siebzehnten Jahre Jehoschaphats, König von Judah, und war zwei Jahre König über Israel.
