Mark 1
1 Aphaba Pao asi Tengban Mapugi Machanupa Jisu Christtagi maramdani.
A beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, Son of God.
2 Aphaba Pao asi, Mapu Ibungogi wa phongdokpiba maichou Isaiah-na ikhibagumna asumna hou-i, “Mapu Ibungona hai, ‘Eina eigi pao pubabu nahakki lambi thourang tounanaba nahakki namang thana thagani.’
As it has been written in the Prophets: “Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You.
3 Kanagumba amana lamjao lamhangda laori, ‘MAPU IBUNGO-gi lambi adu thourang tou; Ibungo mahakna chatnaba lambi chumhallu!’”
A voice of one calling in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the LORD, Make His paths straight.”
4 Matou adugumduna baptize toubiba John-na miyamda pap kokchanabagidamak pukning hongbagi baptize touba adu sandoktuna lamjao lamhangda thorakle. Mahakna miyam aduda hairammi, “Nakhoina paptagi pukning hongduna baptize lou, aduga Mapu Ibungona nakhoigi papsing kokpigani.”
John came immersing in the wilderness, and proclaiming an immersion of conversion for forgiveness of sins,
5 Jerusalem sahardagi mising yaona Judea lamdagi yamlaba misingna John-na hairibadu tananaba thoraklammi. Aduga makhoina makhoigi mapapsing haidokcharammi amasung John-na makhoibu Jordan turelda baptize toubirammi.
and there were going forth to him all the region of Judea, and they of Jerusalem, and they were all immersed by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
6 John-na ut matugi phi setlammi, sawun-gi khwangjet laklammi aduga koujeng amasung lamlakki khoihina mahakki chinjak oirammi.
And John was clothed with camel’s hair, and a girdle of skin around his loins, and eating locusts and honey of the field,
7 Aduga miyam aduda mahakna asumna laothokle, “Eigi tungda lenglakkadouriba Ibungo mahak aduna eingondagi yamna henna matik magun chao-i. Eina nonthajaduna Ibungo mahakki sandal mari louthokpa phaoba itik chajade.
and he proclaimed, saying, “He comes—who is mightier than I—after me, of whom I am not worthy—having stooped down—to loose the strap of His sandals;
8 Einadi nakhoibu isingda baptize tou-i adubu Ibungo mahaknadi nakhoibu Thawai Asengbada baptize toubigani.”
I indeed immersed you in water, but He will immerse you in the Holy Spirit.”
9 Matam aduda Jisuna Galilee-gi lam Nazareth-tagi laklammi amasung John-na Ibungobu Jordan turelda baptize toubikhi.
And it came to pass in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was immersed by John in the Jordan;
10 Amasung Jisuna isingdagi hek karakpaga, nongdon atiya hangdoktuna Thawaina Ibungogi mathakta khunugumna lengtharakpa Ibungona urammi.
and immediately coming up from the water, He saw the heavens dividing, and the Spirit coming down on Him as a dove;
11 Aduga swargadagi khonjel amana asumna hairak-i, “Nahak eigi nungsijaraba Ichanupani. Eina nangonda yamna pelle.”
and a voice came out of the heavens, “You are My Son, the Beloved, in whom I delighted.”
12 Adudagi khudak aduda Mapu Ibungogi Thawaina Ibungobu lamjao lamhangda puthoklammi.
And immediately the Spirit puts Him forth into the wilderness,
13 Aduga Satan-na themladuna mapham aduda Ibungona numit niphuni leire. Mapham aduda lamlakki sasingsu leirammi, adubu swargadutsingna laktuna Ibungobu thougal tourammi.
and He was there in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan, and He was with the beasts, and the messengers were ministering to Him.
14 John-bu keisumsangda thamkhraba matungda, Jisuna Galilee-da chattuna Tengban Mapugi Aphaba Pao sandoklammi.
And after the delivering up of John, Jesus came to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of God,
15 Ibungona hairak-i, “Achaba matam adu lakle, aduga Tengban Mapugi leibak adu naksillakle! Nakhoina paptagi pukning hongduna Aphaba Paoda thajou!”
and saying, “The time has been fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God has come near, convert and believe in the good news.”
16 Adudagi Ibungona Galilee-gi pat mapanda asum chatlingeida, in hunduna nga phariba Simon amadi mahakki manao Andrew-bu ure.
And walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon, and his brother Andrew, casting a drag into the sea, for they were fishers,
17 Amasung Ibungona makhoida hairak-i, “Eigi itung illu, eina nakhoibu mi phabasing oihan-gani.”
and Jesus said to them, “Come after Me, and I will make you to become fishers of men”;
18 Khudak adumaktada makhoina makhoigi insingdu thanamlaga Ibungogi tung injare.
and immediately, having left their nets, they followed Him.
19 Ibungona mapham adudagi khara chatlaga, Zebedee-gi machanupa Jacob amadi mahakki manao John-bu ure. Makhoina hinungda makhoigi insing semjin sajinduna leirammi.
And having gone on there a little, He saw James of Zebedee, and his brother John, and they were in the boat refitting the nets,
20 Jisuna makhoibu hek ubaga, makhoibu koure; maduda makhoina makhoigi mapa Zebedee-bu anekpa sinmisingga loinana hinungda thanamlaga Jisugi tung injare.
and immediately He called them, and having left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, they went away after Him.
21 Adudagi Jisu amadi mahakki tung inbasingna Capernaum saharda laklammi, aduga potthaba numitta Ibungona synagogue-ta changduna tambiba hourammi.
And they go on to Capernaum, and immediately, on the Sabbaths, having gone into the synagogue, He was teaching,
22 Ibungogi tambiba matambi aduda makhoi ngakle, maramdi Ibungona Wayel Yathanggi Ojasinggumna nattaduna, matik leiba mi amagum tambirammi.
and they were astonished at His teaching, for He was teaching them as having authority, and not as the scribes.
23 Adudagi ikhang khang-houdana phattaba thawai changba mi ama synagogue aduda changlaklaga khonjel houna laoraduna hairak-i,
And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,
24 “He Nazareth-ki Jisu, nangna eikhoida kari touba pambage? Nahak eikhoibu mang-hannaba mapham asida laklibra? Nahak kanano haiba ei khang-i, nahakti Mapu Ibungona tharakpa Asengba Mahak aduni.”
saying, “What [regards] us and You, Jesus the Nazarene? You came to destroy us; I have known You, who You are—the Holy One of God.”
25 Maduda Jisuna phattaba thawai aduda yathang piraduna hairak-i, “Tuminna leiyu, aduga mangondagi thokkhro!”
And Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silenced, and come forth out of him,”
26 Adudagi phattaba thawai aduna nupa adubu ot-neina nik-laduna, ahouba khonjelda laoramlaga nupa adudagi thokkhre.
and the unclean spirit having convulsed him, and having cried with a great voice, came forth out of him,
27 Maduda makhoi pumnamak ngakladuna makhoi masel amaga amaga hangnaduna hairak-i, “Touribasi karino? Masibu karamba makhalgi anouba tambibano? Mahakna phattaba thawaisingda phaoba yathang pinaba matik lei aduga makhoina mahakki yathang illi!”
and they were all amazed, so as to reason among themselves, saying, “What is this? What new teaching [is] this? That with authority He also commands the unclean spirits, and they obey Him!”
28 Khudak adudagi Jisugi paona thunamak Galilee-gi mapham sinba thungkhre.
And the fame of Him went forth immediately to all the region of Galilee.
29 Jisu amadi mahakki tung-inbasingna synagogue adudagi hek thorakpaga, Jacob amasung John-ga loinana Simon amadi Andrew-gi yumda chatlammi.
And immediately, having come forth out of the synagogue, they went into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John,
30 Matam aduda Simon-gi manembok laihou houduna nabadagi phamungda leirammi. Ibungona hek thungbaga makhoina mahakki maramda Ibungoda tamle.
and the mother-in-law of Simon was lying fevered, and immediately they tell Him about her,
31 Adudagi Ibungona mahakki manakta changlaga makhut paibiduna mahakpu chingkhatpirammi. Aduga khudak aduda mahakki laihou adu phakhre amasung mahakna makhoibu thougal toujare.
and having come near, He raised her up, having laid hold of her hand, and the fever left her immediately, and she was ministering to them.
32 Adudagi numitna mayum changkhiduna numidangwairam oiraklabada misingna anaba amadi lai phattaba changba pumnamak Ibungogi manakta puraklammi.
And evening having come, when the sun set, they brought to Him all who were ill and who were demoniacs,
33 Amasung sahar adugi mi pumnamak yum adugi mangda tillare.
and the whole city was gathered together near the door,
34 Aduga Ibungona mi kaya amabu makhal makha kayagi lainasingdagi phahanbire amasung lai phattaba kaya amabusu tanthokle. Amasung Ibungona lai phattabasingdu wa amata ngang-hallamde maramdi makhoina Ibungobu kanano haiba khanglammi.
and He healed many who were ill of manifold diseases, and He cast forth many demons, and was not permitting the demons to speak, because they knew Him.
35 Ayuk yamna ngallingei, mamlingei matamda, Jisuna hougattuna yum adudagi thoraklaga achikpa mapham amada chattuna Mapu Ibungoda haijarammi.
And very early, it being yet night, having risen, He went forth, and went away to a desolate place, and was praying there;
36 Adudagi Simon amadi mahakka loinabasingna Ibungobu thiba thorakle.
and Simon and those with him went in quest of Him,
37 Aduga makhoina Ibungobu phanglabada, makhoina Ibungoda hairak-i, “Mi pumnamakna Ibungo nahakpu thiri.”
and having found Him, they say to Him, “All seek You”;
38 Maduda Jisuna khumlak-i, “Eikhoina manak nakpa atei khulsingdasu chatkadabani. Eihakna makhoidasu pao sandokpa tai, maramdi ei madugidamak lakpani.”
and He says to them, “We may go into the next towns, that there also I may preach, for—for this I came forth.”
39 Maram aduna Ibungona Galilee-gi mapham pumnamakta chattuna, synagogue-singda pao sandoklammi aduga lai phattabasingbu tanthoklammi.
And He was preaching in their synagogues, in all Galilee, and is casting out the demons,
40 Yamna kiningai oiba unsagi lainana naba mi amana Jisuda laktuna khuru khudak kullaga tengbangbinaba haijarak-i, “Ibungona yabirabadi, eibu Ibungona seng-hanbiba ngammi.”
and there comes to Him a leper, calling on Him, and kneeling to Him, and saying to Him, “If You may will, You are able to cleanse me.”
41 Maduda Jisuna nungsiba pokladuna makhut tingthoklaga mahakpu sokpiraduna hairak-i, “Eina yare, nahak sengjaro!”
And Jesus having been moved with compassion, having stretched forth the hand, touched him and says to him, “I will, be cleansed”;
42 Khudak aduda mangondagi laina adu mangkhre aduga mahak sengjare.
and He having spoken, immediately the leprosy went away from him, and he was cleansed.
43 Adudagi Jisuna nupa aduda hairak-i, “Yeng-u, masi mi kana amatada haidokkanu; adubu nahakna chattuna purohitta yeng-hallu. Aduga mipum khudingmakna nahak naba phare haiba khangnanaba Moses-na katlu hairamba potlamsing adu katcharu.” Asumna akanba yathang asi piraga khudak aduda Jisuna mahakpu thakhre.
And having sternly charged him, immediately He put him forth,
and says to him, “See [that] you may say nothing to anyone, but go away, show yourself to the priest, and bring near for your cleansing the things Moses directed, for a testimony to them.”
45 Adubu mahakna chatkhraga pao adu mapham khudingmakta sandokpa houre. Aduga madugi mahei oina, Jisuna phongna saharda changba ngamdre. Adudagi Ibungona mi tadaba achikpa maphamsingda leirammi, adumakpu mapham khudingdagi misingna Ibungogi manakta adumak laklammi.
And he, having gone forth, began to proclaim much, and to spread the thing abroad, so that He was no longer able to openly enter into the city, but He was outside in desolate places, and they were coming to Him from every quarter.
