1 Charangnaba adu loikhraba matungda Paul-na thajabasingbu punna kouraga makhoibu pukning thougatpirammi. Adudagi mahakna makhoida kaina wahei hairamlaga makhoibu thadoktuna Macedonia-da chatlammi.
After the uproar ceased, Paul, having sent for the disciples and exhorted them, bidding them adieu, departed to go into Macedonia.
2 Mahakna lamdam adu phaoduna chatpada misingda pukning thougatpa wasing ngangbirammi. Adudagi mahak Greece-ta thungle
And having come through those regions, and exhorted them with much speaking, he came into Greece;
3 aduga mapham aduda mahakna tha ahum leirammi. Mahakna Syria-da chatnaba thourang touringeida Jihudisingna mahakki maiyokta sarou sille haiba mahakna khanglaklammi maram aduna mahakna Macedonia phaoduna hannaba leple.
and having remained three months, a plot rising against him from the Jews, when about to sail for Syria, he was of a mind to return through Macedonia.
4 Berea-dagi Pyrrhus-ki machanupa Sopater, Thessalonica-dagi Aristarchus amadi Secundus, Derbe-dagi Gaius, Asia-dagi Tychicus amasung Trophimus aduga Timothy-su yaona makhoising asina mahakka loinana chatminnarammi.
And Sopater the (son) of Pyrrhus, the Berean, and Aristarchus, the Thessalonian, and Secundus; and Gaius the Derbean, and Timothy; and Tychicus and Trophimus the Asiatics, accompanied him;
5 Makhoina mang thana chatkhiduna Troas-ta eikhoibu ngairammi.
and these having gone in advance, awaited us in Troas;
6 Hamei yaodaba Talgi Chakkhangbagi matungda eikhoi hi tongduna Philippi-dagi chatlammi aduga numit mangani leiraga Troas-ta makhoigi manakta thunglammi. Mapham aduda eikhoi chayol ama leirammi.
and we, after the days of unleaven bread, sailed from Philippi, and came to them into Troas within five days; where we spent seven days.
7 Chayolgi ahanba numitta tal thugainabagidamak eikhoi punna tinnarammi. Mathanggi numitta mapham adu thadoktuna chatkadaba maramna Paul-na ahing nongyai phaoba wa nganglammi.
And on the first of the Sabbaths we being assembled to break bread, Paul spoke to them, being about to depart the following day, and continued his discourse till midnight:
8 Eikhoina tinnariba mathak thangba ka aduda thaomei yamna thallammi.
and there were many lamps in the upper room, where we were assembled.
9 Naha oiriba Eutychus kouba nupa ama thongnaoda phamlammi, Paul-na leppa leitana ngangduna leiringeida mahak yamna kanna tumtharammi. Akonbadadi mahak dolan mathol ahumsuba adudagi leimaida tarammi. Makhoina mahakpu loukhatpa matamda mahak siramle.
Paul speaking more prolixly, there was a certain young man, Eutychus by name, sitting in the window, being borne down with deep sleep, completely relaxed by sleep, fell down from the third story, and was taken up dead.
10 Adubu Paul-na makhada kumthaduna naha aduda nontharaga mahakpu konbirammi. Aduga mahakna hairak-i, “Pukning langtaknaganu, mahak hingli!”
And Paul, having come down, fell on him, and taking him in his arms said, Fear not; for his soul is in him:
11 Adudagi makhoi loina mathak thangba kada amuk chatlammi aduga tal thugairaga charammi. Nongnganba phaoba Paul-na wa nganglammi aduga mahak chatkhre.
and having come up, and broken the bread, and eaten, and talking a long time, until daydawn, thus he departed.
12 Makhoina naha oiriba nupa adu yumda hingna pure amasung makhoi yamna haraojarammi.
And they led up the boy alive, and were comforted exceedingly.
13 Eikhoina mang thana hi tongduna Assos-ta chatlammi, mapham adudagi eikhoina Paul-bu puraga hida chatminnagadabani. Mahakna Assos phaoba makhongna chatke haibagi mahakna masi eikhoida haibani.
But we, having come in advance to the ship, embarked for Assos, thence being about to take up Paul, for he had so commanded us, himself being about to go on foot.
14 Assos-ta mahakna eikhoiga unaba matamda eikhoina mahakpu hida tong-hallaga Mitylene-da chatlammi.
And when he met us at Assos, taking him up, we came to Mitylene.
15 Mathanggi numitta mapham adudagi eikhoina hi tongduna chatlammi aduga Chios manakta thunglammi. Numit amagi matungda eikhoi Samos lanthoklammi aduga thangnaba numitta Miletus-ta thunglammi.
And thence having sailed away on the following day we arrived opposite Chios; and on the following day we touched at Samos, and on the next day we came into Miletus.
16 Asia-gi lamda matam kuina leithadanaba Paul-na Ephesus lanthoklaga chatnaba leplammi. Maramdi Pentecost numitta Jerusalem youba yarabadi haiduna mahak taha taharammi.
For Paul decided to sail by Ephesus, in order that it might not be necessary for him to spend the time in Asia: for he was hastening, if it might be possible for him to be in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost.
17 Miletus-tagi Paul-na Ephesus singlupki ahal lamansingna laktuna mahakpu unabiranaba pao tharammi.
And having sent from Miletus into Ephesus, he called for the elders of the church.
18 Makhoina thunglarabada mahakna makhoida hairak-i, “Asia-gi lam asida eina ahanba lakpa numittagi houna matam pumnamakta karamna eina nakhoiga leiminnakhi haibadu nakhoina khang-i.
And when they came to him, he said to them, You know, that from the first day from which I came unto Asia, how I was with you all the time,
19 Eigi maiyokta leiba Jihudisinggi sarousingna eingonda akanba changyengba thokliba manungda eina yamna nollukna amadi pi tabaga loinana Mapu Ibungobu thougal toujakhi.
serving the Lord with all humility, and tears, and temptations, which came upon me through the plots of the Jews:
20 Eina karigumba chingnaba amata leitana nakhoida kannagadaba adu miyam mamangda amasung yum yumda chattuna sandok-i amadi tambi haiba nakhoina khang-i.
how I omitted nothing of those things which are profitable, that I should not declare unto you and teach you publicly and from house to house,
21 Jihudi amadi Jihudi nattabasingda makhoina paptagi pukning hongduna Tengban Mapuda onsillaknaba amadi eikhoigi Mapu Ibungo Jisubu thajanaba eina cheksin wa haikhi.
witnessing both to Jews, and to Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
22 Aduga houjikti Thawai Asengbagi haiba induna mapham aduda eingonda kari thokkani khangdana eihak Jerusalem-da chatli.
And now, behold, I go to Jerusalem bound in spirit, not knowing the things which shall come upon me in it:
23 Masimatangdi eina khang-i madudi sahar khudingda apha apun amadi ot neiba eina thengnagani haibasi Thawai Asengbana eingonda khanghanbire.
except that the Holy Ghost in every city witnesses to me, saying that bonds and tribulations await me.
24 Adubu eina eigi punsibu aruba oina khande. Eigi thoudang mapung phahanba amadi Tengban Mapugi thoujalgi Aphaba Pao asi sandoknaba Ibungo Jisuna eingonda pibiba thabak asibu loisinba haibasi eigi apamba adutani.”
But I consider my life worthy of no consideration to myself, so as to finish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to bear testimony to the gospel of the grace of God.
25 “Eina nakhoi pumnamakki narakta koina chattuna Tengban Mapugi ningthou leibak adu sandoklammi. Aduga houjikti nakhoi kana amatana eibu amuk hanna uraroi haibasi eina khang-i.
And now, behold, I know that you all, among whom I came preaching the gospel of the kingdom, shall see my face no more.
26 Maram aduna ngasigi numitta eina laothokchari madudi nakhoi kanagumbana mangba tarabasu madu eigi iran natte.
Therefore I witness to you this clay, that I am pure from the blood of all men;
27 Maramdi Tengban Mapugi thourang apumba adu eina nakhoida khanghanbada eina ninghannakhide.
for I did not shrink to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
28 Aduna nakhoi nasana nasabu aduga Thawai Asengbana nakhoida sinnaraba yao sanggu pumnamak adu yengsillu. Machanupagi eegi mapanna leibikhraba Tengban Mapugi singluppu senbiyu.
Take heed to yourselves, and all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost has placed you shepherds, to shepherdise the church of God, which He bought with His own blood.
29 Eina chatkhraba matungda tamthiraba keisalsing nakhoigi narakta lakkani amadi yao sanggu adu amata khakloi.
I know, that after my departure grievous wolves will rise up against you, not sparing the flock;
30 Nakhoigi naraktagi phaoba mi thoraktuna thajabasingbu makhoigi tung ilhannabagidamak serannaba wa nganggadaba matam lakkani.
and men from you yourselves will rise up, speaking perverse things, in order to lead away disciples after them.
31 Maram aduna cheksillu! Chahi ahum chupna ahing nungthil khaktana pi kaya taduna eina nakhoi pumnamakpu tambikhiba adu ningsing-u.”
Watch therefore, remembering, that three years night and day I ceased not admonishing you with tears.
32 “Houjikti nakhoibu semgatpiba ngamba amadi sengdokpikhraba Tengban Mapugi mising adugi phangpham thokpa adu nakhoida pibiba ngamba Tengban Mapu amadi Ibungo mahakki thoujalgi wa aduda eina nakhoibu sinnajari.
And now I commend you to God and the word of His grace, who is able to edify you, and give you an inheritance among all the sanctified.
33 Eina kana amatagi sana, lupa nattraga phirol mihoukhide.
I have not sought the silver, or gold, or raiment of any one;
34 Ikhut asina thabak sujaduna eigi amadi eigi loinabasinggi awatpasingbu mensinkhi haiba nakhoina khang-i.
you yourselves know, that these hands did minister to my necessities, and those along with me.
35 Ibungo Jisu masamakna haibikhiba wa ‘Pibana phangbadagi henna yaiphabani’ asi ningsingduna, thabak kanna suduna eikhoina asonbasingbu pangbigadabani haiba adu eina touba khudingda nakhoida utle.”
I have shown you all things, that it so behooveth you laboring to assist the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
36 Paul-na masi haiba loirabada makhoi pumnamakka loinana khuru khudak kunduna haijarammi.
And having said these things, putting down his knees along with them all, he prayed.
37 Makhoi pumnamakna mahakpu konbirammi amadi chuppirammi.
And the weeping of all was great, and falling on the neck of Paul, they continued to kiss him copiously,
38 Makhoina mahakpu amuk hanna unararoi haina mahakna haikhiba aduna makhoi henna thamoi soklammi. Adudagi makhoina mahakpu hi phaoba thindoklammi.
being especially grieved at the word which he had spoken, that they were about to see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship.
