< Pakhonchatpa 20 >
1 Charangnaba adu loikhraba matungda Paul-na thajabasingbu punna kouraga makhoibu pukning thougatpirammi. Adudagi mahakna makhoida kaina wahei hairamlaga makhoibu thadoktuna Macedonia-da chatlammi.
After the tumult had ceased, Paul called the disciples to him, and bade them farewell, and departed, in order to go into Macedonia.
2 Mahakna lamdam adu phaoduna chatpada misingda pukning thougatpa wasing ngangbirammi. Adudagi mahak Greece-ta thungle
And when he had gone through those regions, and had exhorted them with many words, he came into Greece.
3 aduga mapham aduda mahakna tha ahum leirammi. Mahakna Syria-da chatnaba thourang touringeida Jihudisingna mahakki maiyokta sarou sille haiba mahakna khanglaklammi maram aduna mahakna Macedonia phaoduna hannaba leple.
And having remained there three months, he determined to return through Macedonia, because a plot had been laid for him by the Jews, as he was about to sail to Syria.

And Sopater of Berea, and Aristarchus and Secundus of Thessalonica, and Gaius of Derbe, and Timothy and Tychicus and Trophimus, who were Asiatics, accompanied him to Asia.
5 Makhoina mang thana chatkhiduna Troas-ta eikhoibu ngairammi.
These went before, and waited for us at Troas.
6 Hamei yaodaba Talgi Chakkhangbagi matungda eikhoi hi tongduna Philippi-dagi chatlammi aduga numit mangani leiraga Troas-ta makhoigi manakta thunglammi. Mapham aduda eikhoi chayol ama leirammi.
But we sailed from Philippi, after the days of unleavened bread, and came to them at Troas in five days, where we remained seven days.
7 Chayolgi ahanba numitta tal thugainabagidamak eikhoi punna tinnarammi. Mathanggi numitta mapham adu thadoktuna chatkadaba maramna Paul-na ahing nongyai phaoba wa nganglammi.
And on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul discoursed to them, intending to depart on the morrow; and he continued his speech till midnight.
8 Eikhoina tinnariba mathak thangba ka aduda thaomei yamna thallammi.
And there were many lamps in the upper room, in which they had met together.
9 Naha oiriba Eutychus kouba nupa ama thongnaoda phamlammi, Paul-na leppa leitana ngangduna leiringeida mahak yamna kanna tumtharammi. Akonbadadi mahak dolan mathol ahumsuba adudagi leimaida tarammi. Makhoina mahakpu loukhatpa matamda mahak siramle.
And a certain young man, named Eutychus, was sitting in the window, overpowered with deep sleep: and, as Paul was discoursing a long time, being oppressed with sleep, he fell from the third story, and was taken up dead.
10 Adubu Paul-na makhada kumthaduna naha aduda nontharaga mahakpu konbirammi. Aduga mahakna hairak-i, “Pukning langtaknaganu, mahak hingli!”
But Paul went down, and fell upon him, and embracing him, said: Be not troubled, for his life is in him.
11 Adudagi makhoi loina mathak thangba kada amuk chatlammi aduga tal thugairaga charammi. Nongnganba phaoba Paul-na wa nganglammi aduga mahak chatkhre.
And he went up again, and broke bread, and ate; and having conversed a long time, till daylight, he thus departed.
12 Makhoina naha oiriba nupa adu yumda hingna pure amasung makhoi yamna haraojarammi.
And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.
13 Eikhoina mang thana hi tongduna Assos-ta chatlammi, mapham adudagi eikhoina Paul-bu puraga hida chatminnagadabani. Mahakna Assos phaoba makhongna chatke haibagi mahakna masi eikhoida haibani.
And we went on before to the ship, and put to sea for Assos, intending to take Paul on board at that place; for he had so directed, intending to go himself on foot.
14 Assos-ta mahakna eikhoiga unaba matamda eikhoina mahakpu hida tong-hallaga Mitylene-da chatlammi.
And when he met us at Assos, we took him on board, and came to Mitylene;
15 Mathanggi numitta mapham adudagi eikhoina hi tongduna chatlammi aduga Chios manakta thunglammi. Numit amagi matungda eikhoi Samos lanthoklammi aduga thangnaba numitta Miletus-ta thunglammi.
and sailing from that place, we came, on the following day, opposite to Chios; and, on the next day, we arrived at Samos: and after stopping at Trogyllium, we came, on the next day, to Miletus.
16 Asia-gi lamda matam kuina leithadanaba Paul-na Ephesus lanthoklaga chatnaba leplammi. Maramdi Pentecost numitta Jerusalem youba yarabadi haiduna mahak taha taharammi.
For Paul had determined to sail past Ephesus, that he might not spend time in Asia; for he hastened, that, if it were possible for him, he might be in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost.
17 Miletus-tagi Paul-na Ephesus singlupki ahal lamansingna laktuna mahakpu unabiranaba pao tharammi.
From Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
18 Makhoina thunglarabada mahakna makhoida hairak-i, “Asia-gi lam asida eina ahanba lakpa numittagi houna matam pumnamakta karamna eina nakhoiga leiminnakhi haibadu nakhoina khang-i.
And when they had come to him, he said to them: You know, from the first day on which I came into Asia, how I have been with you during the whole time,
19 Eigi maiyokta leiba Jihudisinggi sarousingna eingonda akanba changyengba thokliba manungda eina yamna nollukna amadi pi tabaga loinana Mapu Ibungobu thougal toujakhi.
serving the Lord with all lowliness of mind, and with tears, and with trials, which came upon me through the plots of the Jews;
20 Eina karigumba chingnaba amata leitana nakhoida kannagadaba adu miyam mamangda amasung yum yumda chattuna sandok-i amadi tambi haiba nakhoina khang-i.
and that I have kept back nothing that was profitable, but have preached to you, and taught you both publicly, and from house to house,
21 Jihudi amadi Jihudi nattabasingda makhoina paptagi pukning hongduna Tengban Mapuda onsillaknaba amadi eikhoigi Mapu Ibungo Jisubu thajanaba eina cheksin wa haikhi.
bearing full testimony both to Jews and to Greeks, of the repentance that leads to God, and of the faith that leads to our Lord Jesus Christ.
22 Aduga houjikti Thawai Asengbagi haiba induna mapham aduda eingonda kari thokkani khangdana eihak Jerusalem-da chatli.
And now, behold, I am going, bound in spirit, to Jerusalem, not knowing what shall befall me there,
23 Masimatangdi eina khang-i madudi sahar khudingda apha apun amadi ot neiba eina thengnagani haibasi Thawai Asengbana eingonda khanghanbire.
except that in every city the Holy Spirit testifies to me, saying, That bonds and afflictions await me.
24 Adubu eina eigi punsibu aruba oina khande. Eigi thoudang mapung phahanba amadi Tengban Mapugi thoujalgi Aphaba Pao asi sandoknaba Ibungo Jisuna eingonda pibiba thabak asibu loisinba haibasi eigi apamba adutani.”
But I esteem this a matter of no importance, nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my course with joy, and the ministry that I have received from the Lord Jesus, to bear full testimony to the gospel of the grace of God.
25 “Eina nakhoi pumnamakki narakta koina chattuna Tengban Mapugi ningthou leibak adu sandoklammi. Aduga houjikti nakhoi kana amatana eibu amuk hanna uraroi haibasi eina khang-i.
And now, behold, I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more.
26 Maram aduna ngasigi numitta eina laothokchari madudi nakhoi kanagumbana mangba tarabasu madu eigi iran natte.
For this reason I solemnly affirm to you this day, that I am clean from the blood of all men.
27 Maramdi Tengban Mapugi thourang apumba adu eina nakhoida khanghanbada eina ninghannakhide.
For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.
28 Aduna nakhoi nasana nasabu aduga Thawai Asengbana nakhoida sinnaraba yao sanggu pumnamak adu yengsillu. Machanupagi eegi mapanna leibikhraba Tengban Mapugi singluppu senbiyu.
Therefore, take heed to yourselves, and to all the flock over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, that you be shepherds to the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood.
29 Eina chatkhraba matungda tamthiraba keisalsing nakhoigi narakta lakkani amadi yao sanggu adu amata khakloi.
For I know this, that, after my departure, rapacious wolves will enter in among you, who will not spare the flock;
30 Nakhoigi naraktagi phaoba mi thoraktuna thajabasingbu makhoigi tung ilhannabagidamak serannaba wa nganggadaba matam lakkani.
and men will arise from among yourselves, speaking perverse things, that they may draw off disciples after them.
31 Maram aduna cheksillu! Chahi ahum chupna ahing nungthil khaktana pi kaya taduna eina nakhoi pumnamakpu tambikhiba adu ningsing-u.”
Therefore watch, remembering that for three years, by day and by night, I ceased not to warn every one of you with tears.
32 “Houjikti nakhoibu semgatpiba ngamba amadi sengdokpikhraba Tengban Mapugi mising adugi phangpham thokpa adu nakhoida pibiba ngamba Tengban Mapu amadi Ibungo mahakki thoujalgi wa aduda eina nakhoibu sinnajari.
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace; to Him who is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all the sanctified.
33 Eina kana amatagi sana, lupa nattraga phirol mihoukhide.
I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel.
34 Ikhut asina thabak sujaduna eigi amadi eigi loinabasinggi awatpasingbu mensinkhi haiba nakhoina khang-i.
You yourselves know that these hands have ministered to my necessities, and to those who were with me.

In all things I have taught you by example, that by thus laboring, you ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus; for he himself said, It is more blessed to give, than to receive.
36 Paul-na masi haiba loirabada makhoi pumnamakka loinana khuru khudak kunduna haijarammi.
And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down and prayed with them all.
37 Makhoi pumnamakna mahakpu konbirammi amadi chuppirammi.
And they all wept much, and fell on Paul’s neck, and kissed him,
38 Makhoina mahakpu amuk hanna unararoi haina mahakna haikhiba aduna makhoi henna thamoi soklammi. Adudagi makhoina mahakpu hi phaoba thindoklammi.
grieving most of all for the word he had spoken, that they would see his face no more. And they conducted him to the ship.
