3 John 1
1 Ahan oiraba eingondagi, Eina achumbada nungsiba, eigi achanba Gaius-ki maphamda ijari.
The elder, to Gaius, the beloved, whom I love in the truth.
2 Achanba, nahakki thawaina chaokhatpagum, nahakna hakchang phaba, maram pumnamakta chaokhattuna nahakna nungaina leinaba eina haijei.
Beloved, I pray, that with respect to all things, you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.
3 Thajaba ichil inao kharana laktuna nahakna achumba aduda thajaba yana hingba amasung nahakna maduda chatli haina eingonda sakhi pibada, eina yamna harao-i.
For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came, and bore witness to your truth, even as you walk in truth.
4 Eigi ichasingna achumbada chatli haiba taba asidagi henna haraoba eigi leitre.
I have no greater joy than that which I have when I hear my children are walking in truth.
5 Achanbasa, nachin nanaosing adu nangondadi makhoi lamlanbasing oirabasu nahakna toubiriba adu thawai yaona toubi.
Beloved, you do faithfully what you perform for the brethren, and for the strangers.
6 Nahakki nungsibiba adugi maramda makhoina singluptasu tamle. Tengban Mapubu pelhanba mawongda makhoigi khongchatpu makhatanaba makhoibu mateng pangbiyu.
These have borne testimony to your love, in the presence of the congregation; whom, if you help forward on their journey, in a manner worthy of God, you will do well.
7 Maramdi Christtagi thougalgidamak thajadaba misingdagi mateng amata loudana makhoina makhoigi khongchat adu chatpa houkhibani.
Because for his name's sake, they went forth, receiving nothing from the Gentiles.
8 Achumbagidamak makhoina suriba thabak aduda eikhoisu saruk yajanaba, eikhoina Christian ama oina makhoibu mateng pangpham thok-i.
We, therefore, ought to entertain such, that we may be joint laborers in the truth.
9 Eina singlupta samlappa wa ikhre, adubu makhoigi makok oiningba Diotrephes-na eina haiba wa taroi.
I wrote to the congregation: but Diotrephes, who affects a pre-eminence among them, does not receive us.
10 Maram aduna eina lakpa matamdadi, mahakna touriba thabaksing amadi eikhoigi maramda sandokliba kanadaba athiba wasing adugi maramda eina ningsinggani. Madunasu pendraduna ichin inaosingbu mahakna lousinde. Makhoibu lousinningba mising adubusu mahakna thing-i amasung makhoibu singluptagi tanthok-i.
For this cause, when I come, I will bring his deeds to remembrance, which he practices--prating against us with malicious words; and, not content with this, he does not himself receive the brethren, and forbids them who would, and casts them out of the congregation.
11 Achanbasa, phattabagi matou tamganu, adubu aphabagi matou tammu. Aphaba touriba mahak adu Tengban Mapugini. Phattaba touriba mahak aduna Tengban Mapubu udri.
Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good, is of God; but he who does evil, has not seen God.
12 Mi khudingmakna Demetrius-ki maramda phajana ngangnei; achumba adumakna mahakki maramda phajana ngang-i. Aduga eikhoinasu mahakki maramda phajana ngangli amasung eikhoina piba sakhidi achumbani haiba nahakna khang-i.
Testimony is borne to Demetrius, by all, and by the truth itself; and we also bear testimony; and you know that our testimony is true.
13 Eina nangonda igadaba yamna leiri adubu eina muk amasung khorjeina i-ba pamdre.
I have many things to write; but I do not incline to write them to you with pen and ink:
14 Eina nahakka thuna unagani haina asa toujari aduga eikhoiga maiga maiga unaduna wari sanagani. Nangonda ingthaba leisanu. Nahakki marupsingna khurumjari. Mapham aduda leiba marupsinggi maming panduna khurumjari haina tambiyu.
for I hope immediately to see you, and so we shall speak face to face. Salute the friends by name.
