2 Timothy 2

1 Eigi ichanupa, eikhoina Christta Jisugi thoujal aduda panggal kanba oiyu.

Do you, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus;

2 Sakhi kayagi mamangda nahakna takhiba eina takpi tambikhibasing adu mi ateidasu tambiba ngamgadaba thajaba yaba misingda sinnabiyu.

and the things which you have heard from me through many witnesses, these do you commit to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

3 Christta Jisugi thajaba yaba lanmi amagumna eihakka loinana awaba khaangminnasi.

Do you, therefore, suffer evil, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

4 Lanmigi thabak touriba lanmi amana mahakki lamjingliba phamnaiba adubu pelhanba pammi maram aduna mahakna micham amagi thabaksingda yetsinnahande.

Every one that serves as a soldier keeps himself free from the business of this life, that he may please him that has chosen him to be a soldier.

5 Kanagumba sanaroi amana lamjen tanaba yaorabadi chatkadaba kanglon adugi matung inna chendrabadi mahakna mana phangba ngamloi.

And if any one also contend in the public games, he is not crowned, unless he contend according to the laws.

6 Thabak kanna suba loumi aduna mahei marong adudagi mahakna saruk hanna phangba tabani.

It is necessary that, the farmer should labor, before he partakes of the fruits.

7 Eina hairiba asida munna wakhal tou, maramdi Mapu Ibungona nangonda masi pumnamak asigi wakhal taba adu pibigani.

Consider what I say, for I pray that the Lord may give you understanding in all things.

8 Eina sandokpa Aphaba Paoda tambibagumna, David-ki charol surol oiriba aduga asibadagi hinggatpikhraba Jisu Christtabu ningsing-u.

Remember that Jesus Christ, of the posterity of David, was raised from the dead, according to my gospel;

9 Aphaba Pao adu sandokpagi maramna eihak awaba khaanglibani amadi maral leiraba mi amagumna yotling phalang thanglibani. Adubu Tengban Mapugi waheidi yotling phalangna punde.

in which I suffer evil, as an evil-doer, even to bonds: but the word of God is not bound.

10 Maram aduna lomba naidaba matik mangalga loinana Christta Jisuda leiba aran-khubham adu Tengban Mapuna khandoklaba makhoinasu phangnanaba eina makhoigidamak pumnamak khaang-i. (aiōnios g166)

For this reason I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. (aiōnios g166)

11 Masi achumba waphamni: “Eikhoina Ibungoga siminnarabadi, eikhoi Ibungoga hingsu hingminnagani.

Assuredly true is the saying: If indeed we have died with him, we shall also live with him;

12 Eikhoina awaba kaanglabadi, eikhoi Ibungoga loinana pansu panminnagani. Eikhoina Ibungo mahakpu yadrabadi, mahaknasu eikhoibu yabiroi.

if we are patient, we shall also reign with him; if we deny him, he will also deny us;

13 Eikhoina thajaba yadaba oirabasu, mahakti thajaba yaba oina adumak leigani, maramdi mahak masana masamakta chumdaba oiba ngamde.”

if we are unfaithful, he remains faithful: he can not deny himself.

14 Waphamsing asi makhoida ningsinghallu. Waheisinggi maramda yetnadanaba Tengban Mapugi mangda makhoida cheksin wa haiyu; maduda kanaba karisu leite, maduna atabasingda manghanbata oihalli.

Put them in mind of these things, charging them before the Lord that they dispute not about words to no profit, which disputes end in the overthrow of the hearers.

15 Tengban Mapugi achumba wa adu chumna tambiba, ikaipham thoktaba thabak suba mi, Tengban Mapugi mityengda mapung phana apenba mi ama haiba adu oinaba ngamba makhei hotnou.

Strive to present yourself to God as approved, a workman that has no cause to be ashamed, rightly setting forth the word of truth.

16 Tengban Mapuna yaroidaba apangba warising adudagi leithok-u, maramdi maduna misingbu Tengban Mapugi maphamdagi henna henna lapthok-halli.

But shun profane and vain babblings; for they will make further advance to ungodliness,

17 Adugumba tambiba adudi hakchangbu chasillakpa apatpa amagumbani. Makhoigi marakta Hymenaeus amasung Philetus-su amani.

and their word will eat as a gangrene: of whom are Hymenæus and Philetus,

18 Hinggatpa adu hannana thokkhre haiduna makhoi achumba lambi adu thadokkhre aduga thajaraba mi kharagi thajaba adu manghalle.

who, as it respects the truth, have erred, saying that the resurrection has already taken place; and they overthrow the faith of some.

19 Adum oinamak Tengban Mapuna semkhraba achetpa yumpham adudi lenghanba ngamloi; maduda waheising asi iduna lei: “Mapu Ibungona mahakki misingbu khang-i” amasung “Mapu Ibungogi misingni haijabasingna aranba toubadagi leithorakkadabani.”

But the foundation of God stands firm, having this inscription: The Lord knows those who are his; and, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

20 Achouba yum amagi manungda makhal khudingmakki pukham tenggotsing lei: kharana sana amadi lupana sabani aduga khara amana u amadi leipakna sabani; khara amana akhannaba thabakta aduga kharana icham chamba thabakta sijinnabani.

In a great house, however, there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth, and some for honor, and some for dishonor.

21 Phattaba pumnamaksing adudagi sengdokcharaba makhoina aruba thabakkidamak sijinnagani maramdi Mapu Ibungona aphaba thabak khudingmakki sijinnaba yaraba katthoklaba amadi kanaraba haibadu oire.

If, therefore, any one will cleanse himself from these strifes about words, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, highly useful to the master, prepared for every good work.

22 Naha oibagi apambasing adudagi chenthok-u aduga asengba pukningdagi Mapu Ibungobu koujabasingga loinana achumba chatpa, thajaba, nungsiba amasung ingthababu tallu.

Shun youthful desires, and follow righteousness, faithfulness, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

23 Apangba amasung kannadaba marei yetnaba adudagi leithok-u maramdi maduna khatna-cheinaba thok-halli haiba nahakna khang-i.

But avoid foolish and unprofitable questions, because you know that they produce contentions:

24 Mapu Ibungogi manaidi khatna-cheinaba touroidabani, adubu pumnamakki maphamda thoujal heiba, takpi tambiba ngamba amasung khaangheiba oigadabani.

and the servant of the Lord must not be contentious, but gentle toward all men, able to teach, patient under evils,

25 Nahakki maiyokta leibasingbu Tengban Mapuna makhoida pukning hongba pibiduna achumbada chingbirakkani haibagi thajabaga loinana makhoida pukning tapna takpigadabani.

in meekness instructing those who oppose themselves, if, possibly, God may give them repentance in order to the acknowledgment of the truth,

26 Adu oirabadi makhoina wakhal tarakkani aduga Devil-na makhoibu phaduna mahakki aningba touhalliba lang adudagi nanthokkani.

and that they may awake to sobriety out of the snare of the devil, after having been taken captive by him according to his will.
