1 Jisu Christtagi manai amadi pakhonchatpa Simon Peter, Eikhoigi Tengban Mapu amasung Kanbiba Mapu Jisu Christtagi achumba chatpa adugi mapanna eikhoina phangbagumna mamal yamlaba thajaba phanglaba makhoisingda:
Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained faith, equally as precious as our own, in the plan of justification revealed by our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
2 Tengban Mapu amasung eikhoigi MAPU IBUNGO Jisu Christtabu khangbagi mapanna thoujal amasung ingthaba nakhoida marang kaina leiba oirasanu.
grace be to you, and peace be multiplied in the acknowledgment of God, and Jesus our Lord.
3 Ibungo mahak masamakki oiba matik mangal amasung aphaba magun adugi maramna eikhoibu koubiraba mahakpu khangjaba adugi mapanna eikhoina Tengban Mapu ningba punsi ama hingbada changba pumnamak adu Tengban Mapugi oiba panggal aduna eikhoida pibire.
As his divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the acknowledgment of him who has called us by his glorious power,
4 Matik mangal amasung aphaba magun asising asigi maramna mahakna henna chaoba amadi mamal yamlaba mahakki wasaksing eikhoida pibire, maram aduna wasaksing adugi mapanna phattaba apambasingna thok-hanba taibangpanda leiba amangba adudagi nanthoklaga Tengban Mapugi oiba mahousa aduda saruk yaba phangjananabani.
through which things very great and precious favors that were promised have been given us, that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through desire:
5 Maram asigidamak nakhoina ngambamakhei hotnaduna nakhoigi thajabada aphaba gun hapchinnaba hotnou aduga aphaba gunda khangba;
so, even for this very purpose, uniting to these things all diligence, add to your faith, virtue; and to virtue, knowledge;
6 nakhoigi khangba aduda nasa khudum chanjaba; nakhoigi nasa khudum chanba aduda khaangheiba; khaangheiba aduda Tengban Mapu ningba;
and to knowledge, temperance; and to temperance, patience; and to patience, godliness;
7 Tengban Mapu ningba aduda nachin nanao oibagi channaba hapchillu; aduga nachin nanao oibagi channaba aduda nungsiba hapchillu.
and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.
8 Hairiba gunsing asi nakhoida leiduna hen-gatlabadi, eikhoigi Mapu Ibungo Jisu Christtabu khangbada kanadaba amadi mahei yalhandaba oihalloi.
For if these things be in you, and abound, they cause you to be neither idle, nor unfruitful as it respects the acknowledgment of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 Adubu hairibasing asi leitaba makhoi adudi athappa uba ngamdaba amasung mittangbasingni, makhoina mamaangda langjakhra papsing adudagi sengdokpikhre haiba makhoina kaokhre.
But he who is wanting in these things is blind, and closes his eyes, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
10 Maram aduna eigi ichil inaosa, Tengban Mapuna nakhoibu koubiba amadi khandokpiba adu henna chetsinhannaba ngambamakhei hotnou. Maramdi nakhoina asising asi tourabadi, nakhoina keidounungdasu nakhoigi thajaba thadokloi.
Wherefore, brethren, give the greater diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things, you will never fall.
11 Asumna oirabadi eikhoigi Mapu Ibungo amasung Kanbiba Mapu Jisu Christtagi lomba naidaba leibak aduda nakhoibu taramna okpigani. (aiōnios g166)
For thus will an entrance be given you abundantly into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
12 Maram aduna nakhoina maram pumnamaksing asi hanana khanglaba oirabasu amasung nakhoida leiraba achumba aduda chetna leirabasu, matam pumnamakta eina hiramsing asigi maramda nakhoida ningsingbigani.
Wherefore, I will not neglect to remind you always of these things, though you know them, and are established in the present truth.
13 Eina hinglibamakhei masigi hiramsing asi nouna nakhoida ningsinghanba haibasi chummi haina eina khalli.
Indeed, I think it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to arouse you by putting you in remembrance.
14 Maramdi eikhoigi Mapu Ibungo Jisu Christtana eingonda sengna takpikhibagumna, thunamak eigi hakchang asi thadoklani haiba eihak khang-i.
For I know that the putting off of this my tabernacle is near at hand, even as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me.
15 Eina leikhidraba matungda nakhoina hiramsing asi matam pumbada ningsingduna leiba yananaba lambi ama semnaba ngambamakhei eina kanna hotnagani.
But I will earnestly endeavor that you may be able, even after my decease, to have these things always in remembrance.
16 Mapu Ibungo Jisu Christtana panggalga loinana lengbirakkadaba adugi maramda eikhoina nakhoida haiba matamda, hei-singna semjin sajinba wari sijinnaduna haikhide, adubu eikhoidi mahakki matik chaoba adugi mitna uhouba sakhisingni.
For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; but we were eye-witnesses of his majesty.
17 “Masi eigi nungsiraba Ichanupani, mangonda Ei yamna pelle!” haina Khuwaidagi Chaoba Matik Mangalgi khonjel aduna Ibungogi maphamda lakpada Mapa Ibungo Tengban Mapudagi ikai khumnaba amadi matik mangal Ibungona phangjaba matam aduda eikhoi mapham aduda leirammi.
For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there came to him from the magnificent glory a voice, such as this: This is my beloved Son, in whom I delight.
18 Eikhoina asengba ching aduda Ibungoga loinana leiringeida swargadagi lakkhiba khonjel adu eikhoi isamakna takhi.
And this voice, which came from heaven, we heard when we were with him in the holy mount;
19 Maram aduna maichousingna laothokpiramba paojel adubu amukka henna eikhona chetna thajare. Maduda nakhoigi pukning chingsinba haibasi nakhoigi aphabani maramdi nongngandriba phaoba amasung ayukki sajik thabana nakhoigi thamoida ngandriphaoba madu amambada nganba thaomeigumba amani.
and we have the prophetic word better established. You do well to attend to this, as to a lamp that shines in a dark place, till the day dawn, and the morning star arise in your hearts;
20 Pumnamak asigi mathakta Puyagi wa phongdokpa amata maichou amagi masagi khangjaba adudagi haidokpa natte haibasi nakhoina khanggadabani.
knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture came from private interpretation:
21 Maramdi Tengban Mapudagi phongdokpa wa amata mioibagi aningbadagi khak lakpa natte, adubu maichousing adu mioiba oijarabasu, Thawai Asengbana makhoibu chingbiduna makhoina Tengban Mapudagi lakpa wa adu ngang-i.
for the prophecy came not at any time by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
