1 Peter 5
1 Nakhoigi narakta leiba ahal-lamansing, ahal ama oiriba amadi Christtana awaba khaangbagi sakhi ama oiriba aduga phongdokpigadaba matik mangal aduda saruk phanggadaba ama oina eina nakhoida haijari;
The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2 nakhoigi nakhada leiba Tengban Mapugi yao sanggu adubu senbiyu, yengsinbiyu, tangaiphadana touba nattaduna Tengban Mapuna nakhoibu oihanningba adugumna, touningna tou; madu pukchel sengdana tongjanaba hotnaba nattaduna, touningna thougal tou.
Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight [thereof], not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
3 Nakhoida sinnakhrabasing adugi mathakta mapu oina panba nattaduna yao sanggu aduda pandamsing oiyu.
Neither as being lords over [God’s] heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
4 Athoiba Yaosenba adu uhanbiba matamda, nakhoina sithaba leitraba matik mangalgi luhup adu phanggani.
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
5 Adugumduna nakhoi naha oibasa, nakhoi ahalsinggi makha pollu. Nakhoi pumnamak amaga amagagi maphamda nolukpagi phijol setlu, maramdi “Tengban Mapuna chaothokpasingbu thing-i, adubu nolukpasingda thoujal pibi.”
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6 Maram aduna Tengban Mapugi panggalaba khutki makhada nakhoina nolukchou adu oirabadi Ibungo mahakki achaba matamda nakhoibu mahakna thanggatpigani
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Nakhoigi langtaknaba pumnamak Ibungogi maphamda langsillu; maramdi mahakna nakhoigidamak khanbi.
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Mit na singna leiyu amasung mitseng khang-u! Nakhoigi yeknaba Devil-na ngangliba nongsagumna kanagumbabu yotsinnaba thiduna koina chatli.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Nakhoigi thajabada chetna leppu amadi mahakpu thing-u, maramdi taibangpan-gi mapham pumnamakta leiba thajaba makhoidasu asigumba awaba khaangli haiba nakhoina khang-i.
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10 Adubu nakhoina matam khara awaba khaanglaba matungda thoujal pumnamakki Tengban Mapuna mahakki lomba naidaba matik mangalda Christta Jisugi mapanna eikhoibu koubiraba Ibungo mahakna, nakhoibu mapung phahanbigani amasung achetpa, panggal amadi lengdraba yumpham nakhoida pibigani. (aiōnios g166)
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you]. (aiōnios g166)
To him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 Eina thajaba yaba ichil inao amani haina singthanajaba Silas-ki mapanna eina nakhoida samlapna chithi asi i-bani. Eina nakhoibu pukning thougatpa amadi masi Tengban Mapugi achumba thoujal aduni haiba eigi sakhi piba adu eina pammi.
By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.
13 Nakhoiga loinana khandokminnarabi, Babylon-gi singlup aduna nakhoibu khurumjabagi wa hairak-i, aduga eigi icha Mark-nasu nakhoibu khurumjari.
The [church that is] at Babylon, elected together with [you], saluteth you; and [so doth] Marcus my son.
14 Nungsibagi chupnabaga loinana nakhoi amaga amaga khurumnou. Christtada leiba nakhoi pumnamakta ingthaba leisanu.
Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace [be] with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.
