Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the elect sojourners of the Dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 Ipa Ibungo Tengban Mapugi hanna khangbiba adugi matung inna, Thawaigi sengdokpibagi thabak adugi mapanna, Jisu Christtagi yathang innaba amasung Ibungo mahakki eena chamthokpinaba khandokpirabasinggi maphamda: Thoujal amasung ingthaba marang kaina nakhoigi oirasanu.
according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. Grace to you, and peace, be multiplied.
3 Eikhoigi Mapu Ibungo Jisu Christtagi Mapa Ibungo amasung Tengban Mapubu thagatpa oisanu! Mahakki thoihenba chanbibagi matung inna Jisu Christtabu asibasinggi maraktagi hinggat-hanbagi mapanna ahingba asa amada mahakna eikhoibu amuk hanna pokpire,
Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the one having according to his great mercy begotten us again into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and never fading, having been kept in the heavens unto you,
5 Aroiba matamda phongdoknaba thourang touraba aran-khubham adugidamak nakhoigi thajabagi mapanna Tengban Mapugi panggalna nakhoibu ngaktuna thambi.
who are preserved by the power of God through faith unto the salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 Matam kharagi oina nakhoina makhal kayagi chang yengbada awaba khaangba tarabasu, nakhoina masigidamak haraojou.
In whom you rejoice, if however it is needful, being grieved a little while among manifold temptations: in order
7 Chang yengbasing lakpagi maramdi nakhoigi thajaba adu tasengbani haiba utnanabani. Mangba yaba sana phaoba meida chang yeng-i; sanadagi mamal yamna hellaba nakhoigi thajaba adu khangnanaba chang yengba tabani. whom you not seeing, love with divine love; on whom, not looking, but believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Maramdi nakhoigi thajabagi poloigi mahei, haibadi nakhoigi thawaigi aran-khubham adu nakhoina phangjari.
receiving the end of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
10 Aran-khubham asigi maramda Tengban Mapugi wa phongdokpasingna cheksinna thirammi amadi kupna yengsillammi aduga makhoina nakhoida pibigadaba khudol asigi maramda wa phongdoklammi.
Concerning which salvation the prophets, who prophesied concerning the grace towards you, sought out and investigated,
11 Karamba matamda amadi karamna oigadouribano haiba makhoina khangnaba hotnarammi. Matam adudani makhoigi nungda leiba Christtagi Thawai aduna Christtana awa khanggadaba amasung madugi matungda matik mangal phanggadaba adugi maramda makhoida haibi.
searching into what, or what kind of time the Spirit of Christ who was in them, witnessing the sufferings towards Christ, and the glories after these, did show:
12 Makhoina masa mathantagidamak nattaduna eikhoigidamak thougal touriba makhoida phongdokpirammi. Waramsing asi swargadagi thabirakpa Thawai Asengbana Aphaba Pao sandokpasinggi mapanna nakhoida phongdokpire. Waramsing asigi maramda swargadutsingna phaoba yengninglammi.
to whom it was revealed, because they were ministering not these things for themselves, but for you, which are now proclaimed unto you by those who preach to you the gospel with the Holy Ghost having been sent from heaven; into which things the angels desire to look down.
13 Maram aduna nakhoigi pukning semsaduna leiyu. Mitsing nasing-u aduga Jisu Christtana lenglakpa matamda nakhoida pubirakkadaba yaipha thoujal aduda mapung phana asa thammu.
Therefore having girded up the loins of your minds, being perfectly sober, hope unto the grace which is conferred on you in the revelation of Jesus Christ.
14 Haiba inba angangsinggumna, nakhoina khangdringeida leiramba hannagi apambasing aduda sakwong louganu.
As children of obedience, not being fashioned after your former lusts in ignorance:
15 Madugi mahutta nakhoibu koubiba Ibungo mahakna sengbagumna nakhoisu nachat natou pumnamakta asengba oiyu.
but according to the Holy One who has called you. Be ye also holy in all your deportment;
16 Mapugi puyana asumna hai, “Ei asengba oiba maramna nakhoi asengba oiyu.”
because it has been written, Ye shall be holy; because I am holy.
17 Misak mimai yengdana mi pumnamakpu mana mana touba thabakki matung inna wayenbiba mahakpu nakhoina Ipa haina kourabadi, malem asida nakhoina lamlanba amagumna Ibungobu ikai khumnana kina hing-u.
And if you call upon the Father, the One judging without respect of persons according to the work of each, pass the time of your sojourn with fear,
18 Nakhoigi ipa ipusingdagi thangtharakpa kannadaba punsi mahing adudagi nakhoibu thadokpinaba pikhiba mamal adu nakhoina khang-i. Madu mangba yaba sana nattraga lupana natte;
knowing that you have been redeemed from your depraved character transmitted from your ancestors, not by corruptible things, silver or gold,
19 madu asoiba nattraga amakpa leitaba yao machagumlaba Christtagi mamal yamlaba ee adunani,
but by the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and spotless:
20 Ibungo mahakti taibangpan leisemdringeigi mamangda Tengban Mapuna khanbikhrabani, adubu aroiba numitsing asida nakhoigidamak phongdokpire.
foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but having been made manifest at the last of the times for the sake of you,
21 Ibungobu asibasinggi maraktagi hinggat-hanbiduna matik mangal chaohankhiba Tengban Mapubu nakhoina Ibungo mahakki mapanna thajei, maduna nakhoigi thajaba amasung asa Tengban Mapugi maphamda thamjare.
who through him are faithful toward God, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; so that your faith and hope are toward God.
22 Houjikti nakhoina achumba adu inbagi mapanna nakhoi nasabu sengdokchare maram aduna thajaba nachin nanaosingbu nakhoina pukchel sengna nungsire, thamoi pumnamak yaona amaga amaga pukning changna nungsinou.
Having purified your souls through obedience of the truth unto unhypocritical, brotherly love, fervently from the heart love one another with divine love:
23 Maramdi mangba yaba marudagi nattaduna mangba yadaba marudagi hingba amasung matam pumbada lengdana leiba Tengban Mapugi waheigi mapanna nakhoibu amuk hanna pokpire. (aiōn g165)
having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through the word of God, who lives and abides. (aiōn g165)
24 Mapugi puyana asumna hai, “Mioiba pumnamak napiga pangkhakni, amasung makhoigi matik mangal pumnamak napigi mapal-gumbani. Napina khuithei amasung mapalna kelli,
Therefore all flesh is as grass, and all its glory as the flower of grass: the grass is withered, and the flower fell off;
