1 Corinth 4
1 Eikhoibu nakhoina Tengban Mapugi athuppa achumbasing adugi asin arangi thoudang sinnakhraba Christtagi manai ama oina khanbiyu.
Let any man look upon us as servants of Christ, and stewards of the secret truths of God.
2 Asigumba manaising asigi mathou taba amadi makhoigi mapusinggi maphamda thajaba yaba oiba asini.
Now it is required of stewards, that a man be found faithful.
3 Houjik, nakhoina eibu wayenbada nattraga taibangpangi wayel amagi matung-inna eibu wayenbada eina madu maru oiba oina khande; aduga ei isanaphaoba isabu wayenjade.
But to me it matters very little that I am judged by you, or by any earthly court.
4 Eina aranba toukhiba amata ei khangde, adumakpu masimakna ei chummi haibadi natte. Eibu chang yengbiba adudi Ibungo mahakni.
Indeed I do not even judge myself; for though I know nothing against myself, yet that does not vindicate me; for he who judges me is the Lord.
5 Maram aduna achaba matam adu laktriphaoba kanadasu wayen-ganu, Ibungona lenglaktriphaoba ngaibiyu. Mahakna amambada lotlibasing adu mangalda puthokkani aduga misinggi thamoida leiriba aronba thourang adu phongdokkani. Matam aduda mi pumnamakna Tengban Mapudagi makhoigi matik chaba thagatchaba adu phangjagani.
So make no hasty judgment until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make plain the purpose of men’s hearts. Then each man’s due praise will come to him from God.
6 Aduga Ichil-inaosa, “Iriba adugi wangmada hendokphade” haiba paorou asigi wahanthok adu nakhoina eikhoidagi tamnanaba, nakhoigidamak eina masi pumnamaksing asi isamakta amadi Apollos-da pandam oina sijinnajei. Masi nakhoi kananasu mi amagidak chaothoktanaba aduga atoppa amadana hanthana yengdanabani.
Now these things, brothers, I have applied in a figure to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that in us you might learn not to go beyond what is written; that none of you be puffed up for the one, against the other.
7 Maramdi kannana nahakpu atoppasingdagi henna chaohanbage? Nahakna leijariba pumnamak adu Tengban Mapuna pibiba nattabra? Adu oirabadi, nahakna leijariba adu khudol nattabagumna nahakna karamna chaothokadouribano?
For who makes you a differ, brother? Or what have you that you did not receive? But if you did receive it, why are you boasting as if you had not received it?
8 Houjik nakhoina pamjaba pumnamak nakhoida leire! Houjik nakhoi inak khulle! Nakhoina eikhoi yaodana ningthougum palle! Hoi, eikhoina nakhoiga loinana ningthou oiminnanaba, nakhoina tasengna ningthou oiba adu eina kayada pamjaba!
But you, forsooth, are already full, are you? You are already rich? Without us you are already reigning? Yes, and I would that you did reign, so that we also might reign with you.
9 Maramdi, taibang malem apumba, swargadutsing amadi misinggi mityengpham oina, miyam mangda sinanabagi maral piraba misinggumna Tengban Mapuna pakhonchatpa eikhoida khwaidagi mamei oiba mapham adu pibire haina eina ningjei.
But it seems to me that God has exhibited us apostles, last of all, like men doomed to death; for we are made a spectacle to the whole world, both to men and to angels.
10 Maramdi Christtagi maramgidamak eikhoi apangbasingni; adubu nakhoidi Christtada asingba oire! Eikhoibu hanthana yengbi; adubu nakhoibu ikai khumnabi!
For Christ’s sake we are fools, but you are quite philosophic in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong; you are honorable, but we are outcast.
11 Pungja asidaphaoba eikhoina lamli, khourangli aduga eikhoina phijet phigai amadi phimal setli; phubiri; yum leijadaba oiri.
Even to his very hour we are enduring hunger and thirst and nakedness and blows.
12 Eikhoina eikhoigi ikhutmakna thabak kanna sui. Eikhoibu sirap tourabada, eikhoina yaipha thoujal pibi, eikhoibu ot-neirabada eikhoina khaang-i.
Homeless men, we toil, working with our own hands.
13 Eikhoibu ikaiba pirabada eikhoina nungshina paokhumbi. Mikup asi phaoba eikhoi taibangpanbagi phatha haodigumna oiri, phattaduna amadi kannadraduna hunjeklaba potsakkum oiri!
When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; when defamed, we conciliate. We have been made, as it were, scum-o’-the-earth, the very refuse of the world, to this very hour!
14 Eina masi nakhoibu ikaiba pinanaba i-ba natte, adubu isamakki nungsijaraba ichasinggumna paotak oina haibani.
I am not writing this to shame you, but to admonish you, as my beloved children.
15 Maramdi nakhoigi christian-gi punsida nakhoibu takpi-tambiba lising tara leiraba phaobada nakhoigi ipadi amatani. Maramdi nakhoigi Christta Jisuga amata oina punsinjabagi punsida nakhoida Aphaba Pao purakpagi mapanna eihak nakhoigi ipa oire.
For though you have ten thousand tutors in Christ Jesus, you can have but one father. For in Christ Jesus I begot you through the gospel.
16 Maram aduna eigi itou louba oibiyu haina eina nakhoibu thougatchari.
I beg you then to imitate my example.
17 Maram asigidamak eina eigi nungsijaraba ichanupa, Ibungoda thajaba yaba oiriba Timothybu nakhoigi naphamda thakhibani. Aduga eina mapham khudingda leiba singlupsingda tambibagum Christta Jisugi tung-inba ama oina eina chatchaba ichat itou pumnamak mahakna nakhoida ningsinhanbigani.
With this in mind I have sent Timothy to you. He is my dear and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ; the manner in which I ever teach everywhere in every church.
18 Nakhoi kharana eina nakhoigi nanakta amuk laklaroidabagumna chaothokli.
Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
19 Adumakpu Ibungogi aningba oirabadi eina nakhoigi nanakta athuba matamda laktuna chaothokpasing aduna kari haibage haibadu khak nattana makhoigi panggal adusu eina khanggani.
But come to you I will, and that soon, if it please the Lord, and then I shall learn not the talk of these boasters, but their power.
20 Maramdi Tengban Mapugi leibak adudi waheigi natte adubu panggalgini.
For the kingdom of God is not in talk, but in power.
21 Nakhoina kari pambage? Eina cheiga loinana lakpara? Nattraga nungsiba amadi pukning tappaga loinana lakpara?
Which do you want? Am I to come to you with a rod, or in a loving and tender spirit?
