സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 94

1 ൧ പ്രതികാരത്തിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യുവാൻ അധികാരമുള്ള ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ ക്രോധം പ്രദര്‍ശിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

O God, of vengeance, Lord! O God of vengeance, shine forth.

2 ൨ ഭൂമിയുടെ ന്യായാധിപതിയേ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കണമേ; ഡംഭികൾക്ക് അങ്ങ് പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യണമേ.

Lift up thyself, O judge of the Earth! bring a recompense upon the proud.

3 ൩ യഹോവേ, ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ എത്രത്തോളം, ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ എത്രത്തോളം ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും?

How long shall the wicked, O Lord—how long shall the wicked exult?

4 ൪ അവർ ധാർഷ്ട്യത്തോടെ ശകാരിച്ച് സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; നീതികേട് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഏവരും വമ്പ് പറയുന്നു.

They sputter, they speak hard things: all the workers of wickedness boast themselves.

5 ൫ യഹോവേ, അവർ അങ്ങയുടെ ജനത്തെ തകർത്തുകളയുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ അവകാശത്തെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

Thy people, O Lord! they crush, and thy heritage they afflict.

6 ൬ അവർ വിധവയെയും പരദേശിയെയും കൊല്ലുന്നു; അനാഥരെ അവർ ഹിംസിക്കുന്നു.

The widow and the stranger they slay, and the fatherless they murder.

7 ൭ “യഹോവ കാണുകയില്ല; യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവം ഗ്രഹിക്കുകയില്ല” എന്ന് അവർ പറയുന്നു.

And they say, The Lord will not see, and the God of Jacob will not take notice of it.

8 ൮ ജനത്തിൽ ബുദ്ധിഹീനരേ, ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; ഭോഷന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എപ്പോൾ ബുദ്ധി ഉദിക്കും?

Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye become intelligent!

9 ൯ ചെവിയെ നട്ടവൻ കേൾക്കുകയില്ലയോ? കണ്ണ് നിർമ്മിച്ചവൻ കാണുകയില്ലയോ?

He that hath planted the ear, shall he not hear? or he that hath formed the eye, shall he not see?

10 ൧൦ ജനതതികളുടെ മേൽ ശിക്ഷണം നടത്തുന്നവൻ ശാസിക്കുകയില്ലയോ? അവൻ മനുഷ്യർക്ക് ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?

He that admonisheth nations, shall he not correct? is it not he that teacheth man knowledge!

11 ൧൧ മനുഷ്യരുടെ വിചാരങ്ങൾ മായ എന്ന് യഹോവ അറിയുന്നു.

The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are nought.

12 ൧൨ യഹോവേ, ദുഷ്ടനെ മറവു ചെയ്യുവാൻ കുഴി കുഴിക്കുവോളം അനർത്ഥദിവസത്തിൽ വിശ്രമം നൽകേണ്ടതിന്

Happy is the man whom thou admonisheth, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law:

13 ൧൩ അങ്ങ് ശിക്ഷിക്കുകയും അങ്ങയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഉപദേശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.

That thou mayest grant him repose from the days of evil, until the pot be dug for the wicked.

14 ൧൪ യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ തള്ളിക്കളയുകയില്ല; തന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ കൈവിടുകയുമില്ല.

For the Lord will not cast off his people, and his inheritance will he not forsake.

15 ൧൫ നീതിപൂർവമായ ന്യായവിധികൾ മടങ്ങിവരും; പരമാർത്ഥഹൃദയമുള്ളവരെല്ലാം അതിനോട് യോജിക്കും.

For unto righteousness will justice return; and it shall be followed by all the upright in heart.

16 ൧൬ ദുഷ്കർമ്മികൾക്കെതിരെ ആര് എനിക്ക് വേണ്ടി എഴുന്നേല്ക്കും? നീതികേട് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവരോട് ആര് എനിക്ക് വേണ്ടി എതിർത്തുനില്ക്കും?

Who will rise up for me against evil-doers? or who will stand forward for me against the workers of wickedness?

17 ൧൭ യഹോവ എനിക്ക് സഹായമായിരുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ എന്റെ പ്രാണൻ വേഗം മൗനവാസം ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു.

Unless the Lord had been a help unto me, but a little would have been wanting that my soul had dwelt in the silence of death.

18 ൧൮ “എന്റെ കാൽ വഴുതുന്നു” എന്ന് ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ ദയ എന്നെ താങ്ങി.

When I said, My foot hath slipped: thy kindness, O Lord, sustained me.

19 ൧൯ എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ ആകുലചിന്തകൾ പെരുകുമ്പോൾ അങ്ങയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ആശ്വാസം എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ തണുപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

In the multitude of my [painful] thoughts within me, thy consolations delight my soul.

20 ൨൦ നിയമം മൂലം തിന്മയ്ക്ക് വഴിയൊരുക്കുന്ന ദുഷ്ടസിംഹാസനത്തിന് അങ്ങയോട് സഖ്യം ഉണ്ടാകുമോ?

Can there be associated with thee the throne of destructive wickedness, which frameth mischief as a law?

21 ൨൧ നീതിമാന്റെ പ്രാണന് വിരോധമായി അവർ കൂട്ടം കൂടുന്നു; നിരപരാധിയെ അവർ ശിക്ഷയ്ക്ക് വിധിക്കുന്നു.

They band themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and innocent blood do they condemn.

22 ൨൨ എങ്കിലും യഹോവ എനിക്ക് രക്ഷാഗോപുരവും എന്റെ ശരണശൈലവും എന്റെ ദൈവവും ആകുന്നു.

But the Lord is become my defence, and my God, the rock of my refuge.

23 ൨൩ ദൈവം അവരുടെ നീതികേട് കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ അവരുടെ മേൽ ശിക്ഷവരുത്തും; അവരുടെ ദുഷ്ടതയിൽ തന്നെ അവരെ സംഹരിക്കും; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.

And he will bring back upon them their own injustice, and in their own wickedness will he destroy them: [yea], he will destroy them—the Lord our God.
