സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 86
1 ൧ ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു പ്രാർത്ഥന. യഹോവേ, ചെവി ചായിക്കണമേ; എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളണമേ; ഞാൻ എളിയവനും ദരിദ്രനും ആകുന്നു.
A Prayer of David. Bow down thine ear, O Jehovah, and answer me; For I am poor and needy.
2 ൨ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാക്കണമേ; ഞാൻ അങ്ങയുടെ ഭക്തനാകുന്നുവല്ലോ; എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന അടിയനെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ.
Preserve my soul; for I am godly: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
Be merciful unto me, O Lord; For unto thee do I cry all the day long.
Rejoice the soul of thy servant; For unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5 ൫ കർത്താവേ, അവിടുന്ന് നല്ലവനും ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നവനും അങ്ങയോട് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരോടും മഹാദയാലുവും ആകുന്നു.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness unto all them that call upon thee.
Give ear, O Jehovah, unto my prayer; And hearken unto the voice of my supplications.
In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee; For thou wilt answer me.
8 ൮ കർത്താവേ, ദേവന്മാരിൽ അങ്ങേക്ക് തുല്യനായി ആരുമില്ല. അങ്ങയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾക്കു തുല്യമായി ഒരു പ്രവൃത്തിയുമില്ല.
There is none like unto thee among the gods, O Lord; Neither [are there any works] like unto thy works.
9 ൯ കർത്താവേ, അവിടുന്ന് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സകലജനതതികളും തിരുമുമ്പിൽ വന്ന് നമസ്കരിക്കും; അവർ അങ്ങയുടെ നാമത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.
All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; And they shall glorify thy name.
For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: Thou art God alone.
11 ൧൧ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ വഴി എന്നെ പഠിപ്പിക്കണമെ; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അങ്ങയുടെ സത്യത്തിൽ നടക്കും; അങ്ങയുടെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാൻ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ ഏകാഗ്രമാക്കണമേ.
Teach me thy way, O Jehovah; I will walk in thy truth: Unite my heart to fear thy name.
12 ൧൨ എന്റെ ദൈവമായ കർത്താവേ, ഞാൻ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ അങ്ങയെ സ്തുതിക്കും; അങ്ങയുടെ നാമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.
I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; And I will glorify thy name for evermore.
13 ൧൩ എന്നോടുള്ള അങ്ങയുടെ ദയ വലിയതാണല്ലോ; അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പാതാളത്തിന്റെ ആഴത്തിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. (Sheol h7585)
For great is thy lovingkindness toward me; And thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
14 ൧൪ ദൈവമേ, അഹങ്കാരികൾ എന്നോട് എതിർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. നീചന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടം എനിക്ക് പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു. അവർ അങ്ങയെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.
O God, the proud are risen up against me, And a company of violent men have sought after my soul, And have not set thee before them.
15 ൧൫ കർത്താവേ, അങ്ങ് കരുണയും കൃപയും നിറഞ്ഞ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ദീർഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുമുള്ളവൻ തന്നെ.
But thou, O Lord, art a God merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness and truth.
16 ൧൬ എന്നിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞ് എന്നോട് കൃപയുണ്ടാകണമേ; അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസന് അങ്ങയുടെ ശക്തി തന്ന്, അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസിയുടെ പുത്രനെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ.
Oh turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; Give thy strength unto thy servant, And save the son of thy handmaid.
17 ൧൭ എന്നെ വെറുക്കുന്നവർ കണ്ട് ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടതിന് നന്മയ്ക്കായി ഒരു അടയാളം എനിക്ക് തരണമേ; യഹോവേ, അവിടുന്ന് എന്നെ സഹായിച്ച് ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
Show me a token for good, That they who hate me may see it, and be put to shame, Because thou, Jehovah, hast helped me, and comforted me.
