സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 72
1 ൧ ശലമോന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ദൈവമേ, രാജാവിന് അവിടുത്തെ ന്യായവും രാജകുമാരന് അവിടുത്തെ നീതിയും നല്കണമേ.
“By Solomon.” O God, give unto the king thy decisions, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
He shall decide for thy people with righteousness, and for thy afflicted with justice.
The mountains shall bear peace for the people, and the hills [the same], through righteousness.
4 ൪ ജനത്തിലെ എളിയവർക്ക് അവൻ ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുകൊടുക്കട്ടെ; ദരിദ്രജനത്തെ അവൻ രക്ഷിക്കുകയും പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനെ തകർത്തുകളയുകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ;
He shall judge the afflicted of the people, he shall give help to the children of the needy; but he shall crush the oppressor.
They shall fear thee as long as the sun shineth, and in the presence of the moon, throughout all generations.
He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers which are dropping on the earth.
In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace [shall be] till the moon shall be no more.
And he shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
Before him shall bend down those that dwell in the wilderness; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
10 ൧൦ തർശീശിലെയും ദ്വീപുകളിലെയും രാജാക്കന്മാർ കാഴ്ച കൊണ്ടുവരട്ടെ; ശെബയിലെയും സെബയിലെയും രാജാക്കന്മാർ കപ്പം കൊടുക്കട്ടെ.
The kings of Tharshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
Yea, there shall bow down before him all kings: all nations shall serve him.
For he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the afflicted also, who hath no helper.
He will spare the poor and needy; and the souls of the needy will he assist.
14 ൧൪ അവരുടെ പ്രാണനെ അവൻ പീഡയിൽ നിന്നും സാഹസത്തിൽനിന്നും വീണ്ടെടുക്കും; അവരുടെ പ്രാണന്‍ അവന് വിലയേറിയതായിരിക്കും.
From wrong and violence will he deliver their soul; and precious shall their blood be in his eyes.
15 ൧൫ അവൻ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കും; ശെബയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള പൊന്ന് അവന് കാഴ്ചയായി കൊണ്ട് വരും; അവനുവേണ്ടി എപ്പോഴും പ്രാർത്ഥന കഴിക്കും; ഇടവിടാതെ അവനെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും.
And he shall live; and he will give him of the gold of Sheba: and he will pray in his behalf continually; all the time will he bless him.
16 ൧൬ ദേശത്ത് പർവ്വതങ്ങളുടെ മുകളിൽ ധാന്യസമൃദ്ധിയുണ്ടാകും; അതിന്റെ വിളവ് ലെബാനോനെപ്പോലെ ഉലയും; നഗരവാസികൾ ഭൂമിയിലെ സസ്യംപോലെ തഴയ്ക്കും.
There shall be an abundance of corn in the land; upon the top of the mountains its fruit shall shake like [the trees of] Lebanon; and [men] shall blossom out of the city like herbs of the earth.
17 ൧൭ അവന്റെ നാമം എന്നേക്കും നിലനില്ക്കും; അവന്റെ നാമം സൂര്യൻ ഉള്ളിടത്തോളം നിലനില്ക്കും; മനുഷ്യർ അവന്റെ പേര് ചൊല്ലി അന്യോന്യം അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; സകലജാതികളും അവനെ ‘ഭാഗ്യവാൻ’ എന്നു പറയും.
His name will endure for ever; in the presence of the sun his name shall flourish: and men shall bless themselves with him: all nations shall call him happy.
18 ൧൮ താൻ മാത്രം അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നവനായി യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായി യഹോവയായ ദൈവം വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.
Blessed be the Lord the God, the God of Israel, who alone doth wondrous things.
19 ൧൯ അവിടുത്തെ മഹത്വമുള്ള നാമം എന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ; ഭൂമി മുഴുവനും അവിടുത്തെ മഹത്വംകൊണ്ട് നിറയുമാറാകട്ടെ. ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ.
And blessed he his glorious name for ever; and with his glory may the whole earth be filled: Amen, and Amen.
