1 ൧ ബെന്യാമീന്യനായ കൂശിന്റെ വാക്കുകൾനിമിത്തം ദാവീദ് യഹോവയ്ക്കു പാടിയ വിഭ്രമഗീതം. എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയെ ഞാൻ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരുടെയും കയ്യിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചു വിടുവിക്കണമേ.
Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto Jehovah, concerning the words of Cush a Benjamite. O Jehovah my God, in thee do I take refuge: Save me from all them that pursue me, and deliver me,
2 ൨ അവൻ സിംഹത്തെപ്പോലെ എന്നെ കീറിക്കളയരുതേ; വിടുവിക്കുവാൻ ആരും ഇല്ലാതെയിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ എന്നെ ചീന്തിക്കളയരുതേ.
Lest they tear my soul like a lion, Rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
3 ൩ എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ ഇത് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, എന്റെ പക്കൽ നീതികേടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ,
O Jehovah my God, if I have done this; If there be iniquity in my hands;
4 ൪ എന്നോട് സമാധാനമായിരുന്നവനോട് ഞാൻ ദോഷം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, - കാരണംകൂടാതെ എന്നോട് ശത്രുവായിരുന്നവനെ ഞാൻ വിടുവിച്ചുവല്ലോ
If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me (Yea, I have delivered him that without cause was mine adversary);
5 ൫ ശത്രു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പിന്തുടർന്നു പിടിക്കട്ടെ; അവൻ എന്റെ ജീവനെ നിലത്തിട്ടു ചവിട്ടട്ടെ; എന്റെ മാനത്തെ പൂഴിയിൽ തള്ളിയിടട്ടെ. (സേലാ)
Let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it; Yea, let him tread my life down to the earth, And lay my glory in the dust. (Selah)
6 ൬ യഹോവേ, കോപത്തോടെ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കണമേ; എന്റെ വൈരികളുടെ ക്രോധത്തോട് എതിർത്തുനില്ക്കണമേ; എനിക്ക് വേണ്ടി അവിടുന്ന് കല്പിച്ച ന്യായവിധിക്കായി ഉണരണമേ;
Arise, O Jehovah, in thine anger; Lift up thyself against the rage of mine adversaries, And awake for me; thou hast commanded judgment.
7 ൭ ജനതകൾ സംഘമായി അങ്ങയെ ചുറ്റിനില്ക്കട്ടെ; ഉയരത്തിലിരുന്ന് അവിടുന്ന് അവരെ ഭരിക്കേണമേ
And let the congregation of the peoples compass thee about; And over them return thou on high.
8 ൮ യഹോവ ജനതകളെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവേ, എന്റെ നീതിക്കും പരമാർത്ഥതയ്ക്കും തക്കവണ്ണം എന്നെ വിധിക്കണമേ;
Jehovah ministereth judgment to the peoples: Judge me, O Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and to mine integrity that is in me.
9 ൯ ദുഷ്ടന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത അവസാനിക്കട്ടെ; നീതിമാനെ അവിടുന്ന് ഉറപ്പിക്കണമേ. നീതിമാനായ ദൈവം ഹൃദയങ്ങളെയും മനസ്സുകളെയും ശോധനചെയ്യുന്നുവല്ലോ.
Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteous: For the righteous God trieth the minds and hearts.
10 ൧൦ ദൈവമാണ് എന്റെ പരിച; അവിടുന്ന് ഹൃദയപരമാർത്ഥതയുള്ളവരെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
My shield is with God, Who saveth the upright in heart.
11 ൧൧ ദൈവം നീതിയുള്ള ന്യായാധിപതിയാകുന്നു; ദൈവം ദിവസംപ്രതി ദുഷ്ടനോട് കോപിക്കുന്നു.
God is a righteous judge, Yea, a God that hath indignation every day.
12 ൧൨ മനം തിരിയുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അവിടുന്ന് തന്റെ വാളിന് മൂർച്ചകൂട്ടും; അവിടുന്ന് തന്റെ വില്ലു കുലച്ച് ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
If a man turn not, he will whet his sword; He hath bent his bow, and made it ready;
13 ൧൩ അവിടുന്ന് മരണാസ്ത്രങ്ങളെ അവന്റെനേരെ തൊടുത്ത്, തന്റെ ശരങ്ങളെ തീയമ്പുകളാക്കി തീർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; He maketh his arrows fiery [shafts].
14 ൧൪ ഇതാ, അവന് നീതികേടിനാൽ നോവു കിട്ടുന്നു; അവൻ കഷ്ടത്തെ ഗർഭംധരിച്ച് വഞ്ചനയെ പ്രസവിക്കുന്നു.
Behold, he travaileth with iniquity; Yea, he hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
15 ൧൫ അവൻ ഒരു കുഴി കുഴിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കി, കുഴിച്ച കുഴിയിൽ താൻതന്നെ വീണു.
He hath made a pit, and digged it, And is fallen into the ditch which he made.
16 ൧൬ അവന്റെ ദുഷ്പ്രവർത്തികൾ അവന്റെ തലയിലേക്കു തന്നെ തിരിയും; അവന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത അവന്റെ നെറുകയിൽ തന്നെ പതിക്കും.
His mischief shall return upon his own head, And his violence shall come down upon his own pate.
17 ൧൭ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ അവിടുത്തെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം സ്തുതിക്കും; അത്യുന്നതനായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന് സ്തോത്രം പാടും.
I will give thanks unto Jehovah according to his righteousness, And will sing praise to the name of Jehovah Most High.
