സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 69
1 ൧ സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്ക്; സാരസരാഗത്തിൽ; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ദൈവമേ, എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ; വെള്ളം എന്റെ കഴുത്തോളം എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, [A Psalm] of David. Save me, O God; for the waters are come in to [my] soul.
2 ൨ ഞാൻ നിലയില്ലാത്ത ആഴമുള്ള ചേറ്റിൽ താഴുന്നു; ആഴമുള്ള വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഞാൻ മുങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു; പ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ എന്റെ മീതെ കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്നു.
I sink in deep mire, where [there is] no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
3 ൩ എന്റെ നിലവിളികൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ തളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ തൊണ്ട വരണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവത്തെ കാത്തിരുന്ന് എന്റെ കണ്ണ് മങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു.
I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: my eyes fail while I wait for my God.
4 ൪ കാരണംകൂടാതെ എന്നെ വെറുക്കുന്നവർ എന്റെ തലയിലെ രോമങ്ങളേക്കാളും അധികമാകുന്നു; വൃഥാ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളായി എന്നെ സംഹരിക്കുവാൻ ഭാവിക്കുന്നവർ പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ മോഷ്ടിക്കാത്തത് തിരികെ കൊടുക്കേണ്ടിവരുന്നു.
They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head: they that would destroy me, [being] my enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored [that] which I took not away.
O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.
6 ൬ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, അങ്ങയിൽ പ്രത്യാശ വയ്ക്കുന്നവർ എന്റെ നിമിത്തം ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അവിടുത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവർ എന്റെ നിമിത്തം നാണിച്ചുപോകരുതേ.
Let not them that wait on thee, O LORD God of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.
Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.
I am become a stranger to my brethren, and an alien to my mother's children.
9 ൯ അങ്ങയുടെ ആലയത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള എരിവ് എന്നെ തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങയെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നവരുടെ നിന്ദ എന്റെ മേൽ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.
For the zeal of thy house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee have fallen upon me.
When I wept, [and chastened] my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.
I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.
12 ൧൨ പട്ടണവാതില്ക്കൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവർ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ മദ്യപന്മാരുടെ പാട്ടായിരിക്കുന്നു.
They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I [was] the song of the drunkards.
13 ൧൩ ഞാനോ യഹോവേ, പ്രസാദകാലത്ത് അങ്ങയോട് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങയുടെ ദയയുടെ ബഹുത്വത്താൽ, അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്തതയാൽ തന്നെ, എന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ച് ഉത്തരമരുളണമേ.
But as for me, my prayer [is] to thee, O LORD, [in] an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
14 ൧൪ ചേറ്റിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ കയറ്റണമേ; ഞാൻ താണുപോകരുതേ; എന്നെ വെറുക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും ആഴമുള്ള വെള്ളത്തിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ.
Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
Let not the water-flood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
16 ൧൬ യഹോവേ, എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളണമേ; അങ്ങയുടെ ദയ നല്ലതല്ലോ; അങ്ങയുടെ കരുണയുടെ ബഹുത്വപ്രകാരം എന്നിലേക്ക് തിരിയണമേ;
Hear me, O LORD; for thy loving-kindness [is] good: turn to me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.
And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.
18 ൧൮ എന്റെ പ്രാണനോട് അടുത്തുവന്ന് അതിനെ വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളണമേ; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ നിമിത്തം എന്നെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കണമേ.
Draw nigh to my soul, [and] redeem it: deliver me because of my enemies.
19 ൧൯ എന്റെ നിന്ദയും ലജ്ജയും അപമാനവും അവിടുന്ന് അറിയുന്നു; എന്റെ വൈരികൾ എല്ലാവരും അവിടുത്തെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor: my adversaries [are] all before thee.
20 ൨൦ നിന്ദ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ തകർത്തു, ഞാൻ ഏറ്റവും വിഷാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ആർക്കെങ്കിലും സഹതാപം തോന്നുമോ എന്ന് ഞാൻ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ആർക്കും തോന്നിയില്ല; ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരുണ്ടോ എന്നും നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ആരെയും കണ്ടില്ലതാനും.
Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked [for some] to take pity, but [there was] none; and for comforters, but I found none.
They gave me also gall for my food; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
Let their table become a snare before them: and [that which should have been] for [their] welfare, [let it become] a trap.
Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
Pour out thy indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.
Let their habitation be desolate; [and] let none dwell in their tents.
26 ൨൬ അങ്ങ് ദണ്ഡിപ്പിച്ചവനെ അവർ വീണ്ടും ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നു; അവിടുന്ന് മുറിവേല്പിച്ചവരുടെ വേദന അവർ വിവരിക്കുന്നു.
For they persecute [him] whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
Add iniquity to their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
But I [am] poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
[This] also shall please the LORD better than an ox [or] bullock that hath horns and hoofs.
The humble shall see [this], [and] be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.
For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.
Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.
For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.
36 ൩൬ അവിടുത്തെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ സന്തതി അതിനെ അവകാശമാക്കും; അവിടുത്തെ നാമത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവർ അതിൽ വസിക്കും.
The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.
