സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 28

1 ൧ ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പാറയായ കർത്താവേ, അങ്ങ് മൗനമായി ഇരിക്കരുതേ; അവിടുന്ന് മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നിട്ട് ഞാൻ കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ആകാതിരിക്കുവാൻ തന്നെ.

By David. Unto Thee, O Jehovah, I call, My rock, be not silent to me! Lest Thou be silent to me, And I have been compared With those going down to the pit.

2 ൨ ഞാൻ എന്റെ കൈകൾ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലേക്ക് ഉയർത്തി അങ്ങയോട് നിലവിളിക്കുമ്പോൾ എന്റെ യാചനകളുടെ ശബ്ദം കേൾക്കണമേ.

Hear the voice of my supplications, In my crying unto Thee, In my lifting up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

3 ൩ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോടും അകൃത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നവരോടും കൂടി എന്നെ വലിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകരുതേ; അവർ കൂട്ടുകാരോട് സമാധാനം സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ദുഷ്ടത ഉണ്ട്.

Draw me not with the wicked, And with workers of iniquity, Speaking peace with their neighbours, And evil in their heart.

4 ൪ അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണവും ദുഷ്ടതയ്ക്ക് തക്കവണ്ണവും അവർക്ക് കൊടുക്കണമേ; അവരുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിപോലെ അവരോട് ചെയ്യണമേ; അവർക്ക് തക്ക പ്രതിഫലം കൊടുക്കണമേ;

Give to them according to their acting, And according to the evil of their doings. According to the work of their hands give to them. Return their deed to them.

5 ൫ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെയും അവിടുത്തെ കൈവേലയെയും അവർ തിരിച്ചറിയായ്കകൊണ്ട് കർത്താവ് അവരെ പണിയാതെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയും.

For they attend not to the doing of Jehovah, And unto the work of His hands. He throweth them down, And doth not build them up.

6 ൬ യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവനാകട്ടെ; കർത്താവ് എന്റെ യാചനകളുടെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

Blessed [is] Jehovah, For He hath heard the voice of my supplications.

7 ൭ യഹോവ എന്റെ ബലവും എന്റെ പരിചയും ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയം കർത്താവിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ചു; എനിക്ക് സഹായം ലഭിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ട് എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നു; ഗാനങ്ങളോടെ ഞാൻ അവിടുത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു.

Jehovah [is] my strength, and my shield, In Him my heart trusted, and I have been helped. And my heart exulteth, And with my song I thank Him.

8 ൮ യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ബലമാകുന്നു; തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന് അവിടുന്ന് രക്ഷാദുർഗ്ഗം തന്നെ.

Jehovah [is] strength to him, Yea, the strength of the salvation of His anointed [is] He.

9 ൯ അങ്ങയുടെ ജനത്തെ രക്ഷിച്ചു അങ്ങയുടെ അവകാശത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കണമേ; അവരെ മേയിച്ച് എന്നേക്കും അവരെ വഹിക്കണമേ.

Save Thy people, and bless Thine inheritance, And feed them, and carry them to the age!
