സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 26

1 ൧ ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവേ, എനിക്ക് ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുതരണമേ; ഞാൻ എന്റെ നിഷ്കളങ്കതയിൽ നടക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ഇളകാതെ യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു.

“Of David.” Judge me, O Lord; for I have indeed walked in my integrity: and in the Lord have I trusted; I shall not slip.

2 ൨ യഹോവേ, എന്നെ പരീക്ഷിച്ച് ശോധന ചെയ്യണമേ; എന്റെ മനസ്സും എന്റെ ഹൃദയവും പരിശോധിക്കണമേ.

Try me, O Lord, and prove me; purify my reins and my heart.

3 ൩ അങ്ങയുടെ ദയ എന്റെ കണ്മുമ്പിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ സത്യത്തിൽ ഞാൻ നടന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

For thy kindness is before my eyes; and I have walked in thy truth.

4 ൪ വഞ്ചകന്മാരോടുകൂടി ഞാൻ ഇരുന്നിട്ടില്ല; കപടഹൃദയമുള്ളവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ഞാൻ ചെന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.

I have not sat with men of falsehood, and with dissemblers will I not enter [in communion].

5 ൫ ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരുടെ സംഘത്തെ ഞാൻ വെറുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോടുകൂടി ഞാൻ ഇരിക്കുകയുമില്ല.

I have hated the assemblage of evil-doers; and with the wicked will I not sit.

6 ൬ സ്തോത്രസ്വരം കേൾപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിനും നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികളെ വർണ്ണിക്കേണ്ടതിനും

I will wash in innocency my hands, and I will compass thy altar, O Lord:

7 ൭ ഞാൻ നിഷ്ക്കളങ്കതയിൽ എന്റെ കൈകൾ കഴുകുന്നു; യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയുടെ യാഗപീഠം വലംവയ്ക്കുന്നു.

That I may publish with a loud voice [my] thanksgiving, and relate all thy wondrous deeds.

8 ൮ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ ആലയമായ വാസസ്ഥലവും അങ്ങയുടെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ നിവാസവും എനിക്ക് പ്രിയമാകുന്നു.

Lord, I love the site of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.

9 ൯ പാപികളോടുകൂടി എന്റെ പ്രാണനെയും രക്തദാഹികളോടുകൂടി എന്റെ ജീവനെയും സംഹരിച്ചുകളയരുതേ.

Take not away with sinners my soul, nor with men of blood my life;

10 ൧൦ അവരുടെ കൈകളിൽ ദുഷ്കർമ്മം ഉണ്ട്; അവരുടെ വലങ്കൈ കോഴ വാങ്ങാൻ ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

In whose hands are wicked devices, and whose right hand is full of bribes.

11 ൧൧ ഞാനോ, എന്റെ നിഷ്കളങ്കതയിൽ നടക്കും; എന്നെ വീണ്ടെടുത്ത് എന്നോട് കൃപ ചെയ്യണമേ.

But as for me, I will walk in my integrity: redeem me, and be gracious unto me.

12 ൧൨ എന്റെ കാലടി സമഭൂമിയിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നു; സഭകളിൽ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തും.

My foot standeth on an even place: in assemblies will I bless the Lord.
