സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 25

1 ൧ ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയിലേക്ക് ഞാൻ മനസ്സ് ഉയർത്തുന്നു;

A Psalm of David. Unto Thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.

2 ൨ എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങയിൽ ഞാൻ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ എന്റെ മേൽ ജയം ഘോഷിക്കരുതേ.

O my God, in Thee have I trusted, let me not be ashamed; let not mine enemies triumph over me.

3 ൩ അങ്ങേയ്ക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരുവനും ലജ്ജിച്ചു പോകുകയില്ല; വെറുതെ ദ്രോഹിക്കുന്നവർ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകും.

Yea, none that wait for Thee shall be ashamed; they shall be ashamed that deal treacherously without cause.

4 ൪ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ വഴികൾ എന്നെ അറിയിക്കണമേ; അങ്ങയുടെ പാതകൾ എനിക്ക് ഉപദേശിച്ചു തരണമേ!

Show me Thy ways, O LORD; teach me Thy paths.

5 ൫ അങ്ങയുടെ സത്യത്തിൽ എന്നെ നടത്തി പഠിപ്പിക്കണമേ; അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവമാകുന്നുവല്ലോ; ദിവസം മുഴുവൻ ഞാൻ അങ്ങേയ്ക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

Guide me in Thy truth, and teach me; for Thou art the God of my salvation; for Thee do I wait all the day.

6 ൬ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ കരുണയും ദയയും ഓർക്കണമേ; അവ പണ്ടുപണ്ടേയുള്ളവയല്ലോ.

Remember, O LORD, Thy compassions and Thy mercies; for they have been from of old.

7 ൭ എന്റെ യൗവ്വനത്തിലെ പാപങ്ങളും ലംഘനങ്ങളും ഓർക്കരുതേ; യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ കൃപയും ദയയും നിമിത്തംതന്നെ, എന്നെ ഓർക്കണമേ.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to Thy mercy remember Thou me, for Thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

8 ൮ യഹോവ നല്ലവനും നേരുള്ളവനും ആകുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് അവിടുന്ന് പാപികളെ നേർവഴി പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

Good and upright is the LORD; therefore doth He instruct sinners in the way.

9 ൯ സൗമ്യതയുള്ളവരെ അവിടുന്ന് ന്യായത്തിൽ നടത്തുന്നു; സൗമ്യതയുള്ളവർക്ക് തന്റെ വഴി പഠിപ്പിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

He guideth The humble in justice; and He teacheth the humble His way.

10 ൧൦ യഹോവയുടെ നിയമവും സാക്ഷ്യങ്ങളും പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് അവിടുത്തെ വഴികളെല്ലാം ദയയും സത്യവും ആകുന്നു.

All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.

11 ൧൧ യഹോവേ, എന്റെ അകൃത്യം വലിയത്; തിരുനാമംനിമിത്തം അത് ക്ഷമിക്കണമേ.

For Thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity, for it is great.

12 ൧൨ യഹോവാഭക്തനായ പുരുഷൻ ആര്? അവൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കേണ്ട വഴി കർത്താവ് അവന് കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

What man is he that feareth the LORD? him will He instruct in the way that He should choose.

13 ൧൩ അവൻ മനോസുഖത്തോടെ വസിക്കും; അവന്റെ സന്തതി ദേശം അവകാശമാക്കും.

His soul shall abide in prosperity; and his seed shall inherit the land.

14 ൧൪ യഹോവയുടെ സഖിത്വം തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാർക്ക് ഉണ്ടാകും; അവിടുന്ന് തന്റെ നിയമം അവരെ അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

The counsel of the LORD is with them that fear Him; and His covenant, to make them know it.

15 ൧൫ എന്റെ കണ്ണ് എപ്പോഴും യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കാകുന്നു; കർത്താവ് എന്റെ കാലുകളെ വലയിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിക്കും.

Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for He will bring forth my feet out of the net.

16 ൧൬ എന്നിലേക്ക് തിരിഞ്ഞ് എന്നോട് കരുണയുണ്ടാകണമേ; ഞാൻ ഏകാകിയും അരിഷ്ടനും ആകുന്നു.

Turn Thee unto me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted.

17 ൧൭ എന്റെ മനഃപീഡകൾ വർദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ സങ്കടങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കണമേ.

The troubles of my heart are enlarged; O bring Thou me out of my distresses.

18 ൧൮ എന്റെ അരിഷ്ടതയും അതിവേദനയും നോക്കണമേ; എന്റെ സകലപാപങ്ങളും ക്ഷമിക്കണമേ.

See mine affliction and my travail; and forgive all my sins.

19 ൧൯ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ എത്രയെന്ന് നോക്കണമേ; അവർ പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ കഠിനദ്വേഷത്തോടെ എന്നെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നു;

Consider how many are mine enemies, and the cruel hatred wherewith they hate me.

20 ൨൦ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാത്ത് എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കണമേ; അങ്ങയെ ശരണമാക്കിയിരിക്കുകയാൽ ഞാൻ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ.

O keep my soul, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I have taken refuge in Thee.

21 ൨൧ നിഷ്കളങ്കതയും നേരും എന്നെ പരിപാലിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; ഞാൻ അങ്ങയിൽ പ്രത്യാശ വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, because I wait for Thee.

22 ൨൨ ദൈവമേ, യിസ്രായേലിനെ അവന്റെ സകലകഷ്ടങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും വീണ്ടെടുക്കണമേ.

Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
