1 ൧ ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ കൂടാരത്തിൽ ആര് പാർക്കും? അവിടുത്തെ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതത്തിൽ ആര് വസിക്കും?
A Psalm of David. O LORD, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your holy mountain?
He who walks with integrity and practices righteousness, who speaks the truth from his heart,
3 ൩ നാവുകൊണ്ട് ഏഷണി പറയാതെയും തന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന് ദോഷം ചെയ്യാതെയും കൂട്ടുകാരന് അപമാനം വരുത്താതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്നവൻ;
who has no slander on his tongue, who does no harm to his neighbor, who casts no scorn on his friend,
4 ൪ വഷളനെ നിന്ദ്യനായി എണ്ണുകയും യഹോവാഭക്തന്മാരെ ബഹുമാനിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ; സത്യംചെയ്തിട്ട് നഷ്ടം വന്നാലും വാക്കു മാറാത്തവൻ;
who despises the vile but honors those who fear the LORD, who does not revise a costly oath,
5 ൫ തന്റെ ദ്രവ്യം പലിശയ്ക്കു കൊടുക്കാതെയും കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവന് വിരോധമായി കൈക്കൂലി വാങ്ങാതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്നവൻ; ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ഒരുനാളും കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകുകയില്ല.
who lends his money without interest and refuses a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.
