1 ൧ ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു ആരോഹണഗീതം. ഇതാ, സഹോദരന്മാർ ഒത്തൊരുമിച്ചു വസിക്കുന്നത് എത്ര ശുഭവും എത്ര മനോഹരവും ആകുന്നു!

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

2 ൨ അത്, വസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ വിളുമ്പിലേക്ക് നീണ്ടുകിടക്കുന്ന അഹരോന്റെ താടിയിലേക്ക്, ഒഴുകുന്ന അവന്റെ തലയിലെ വിശേഷതൈലം പോലെയും

It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

3 ൩ സീയോൻ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ പെയ്യുന്ന ഹെർമ്മോന്യമഞ്ഞുപോലെയും ആകുന്നു; അവിടെയല്ലയോ യഹോവ അനുഗ്രഹവും ശാശ്വതമായ ജീവനും കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
