സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 115

1 ൧ ഞങ്ങൾക്കല്ല, യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങൾക്കല്ല, അങ്ങയുടെ ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും നിമിത്തം അങ്ങയുടെ നാമത്തിന് തന്നെ മഹത്വം വരുത്തണമേ.

Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, [and] for thy truth’s sake.

2 ൨ “അവരുടെ ദൈവം എവിടെ?” എന്ന് ജനതകൾ പറയുന്നതെന്തിന്?

Wherefore should the heathen say, Where [is] now their God?

3 ൩ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ ഉണ്ട്; തനിക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളതെല്ലാം അവിടുന്ന് ചെയ്യുന്നു.

But our God [is] in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

4 ൪ അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും ആകുന്നു; മനുഷ്യരുടെ കൈവേല തന്നെ.

Their idols [are] silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

5 ൫ അവയ്ക്കു വായുണ്ടെങ്കിലും സംസാരിക്കുന്നില്ല; കണ്ണുണ്ടെങ്കിലും കാണുന്നില്ല.

They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

6 ൬ അവയ്ക്കു ചെവിയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും കേൾക്കുന്നില്ല; മൂക്കുണ്ടെങ്കിലും മണക്കുന്നില്ല.

They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

7 ൭ അവയ്ക്കു കൈയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും സ്പർശിക്കുന്നില്ല; കാലുണ്ടെങ്കിലും നടക്കുന്നില്ല; തൊണ്ട കൊണ്ട് സംസാരിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

8 ൮ അവയെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നവർ അവയെപ്പോലെ ആകുന്നു; അവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ.

They that make them are like unto them; [so is] every one that trusteth in them.

9 ൯ യിസ്രായേലേ, യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുക; കർത്താവ് അവരുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു;

O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.

10 ൧൦ അഹരോൻഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുക; ദൈവം അവരുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു.

O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.

11 ൧൧ യഹോവാഭക്തന്മാരേ, യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുക; ദൈവം അവരുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു.

Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.

12 ൧൨ യഹോവ നമ്മെ ഓർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടുന്ന് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; ദൈവം യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; ദൈവം അഹരോൻഗൃഹത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും.

The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless [us; ] he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13 ൧൩ ദൈവം യഹോവാഭക്തന്മാരായ ചെറിയവരെയും വലിയവരെയും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും.

He will bless them that fear the LORD, [both] small and great.

14 ൧൪ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ മേല്ക്കുമേൽ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ; നിങ്ങളെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെയും തന്നെ.

The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

15 ൧൫ ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യഹോവയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ ആകുന്നു.

Ye [are] blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

16 ൧൬ സ്വർഗ്ഗം യഹോവയുടെ സ്വർഗ്ഗമാകുന്നു; ഭൂമിയെ അവിടുന്ന് മനുഷ്യർക്ക് കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

The heaven, [even] the heavens, [are] the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17 ൧൭ മരിച്ചവരും മൗനതയിൽ ഇറങ്ങിയവരും യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നില്ല.

The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

18 ൧൮ നാമോ, ഇന്നുമുതൽ എന്നേക്കും യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തും. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ.

But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.
