മത്തായി 24
1 ൧ യേശു ദൈവാലയം വിട്ടു പുറത്തു പോകുമ്പോൾ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവന് ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ പണികൾ കാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന് അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു.
As Jesus walked out of the temple, his disciples came, and caused him to observe the buildings of it.
2 ൨ അവൻ അവരോട് മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞത്: ഇതെല്ലാം നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നില്ലയോ? ഇടിഞ്ഞുപോകാതെ കല്ലിന്മേൽ കല്ല് ഇവിടെ ശേഷിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ട് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Jesus said to them, All this you see; indeed I say to you, one stone shall not be left here upon another. All shall be razed.
3 ൩ അവൻ ഒലിവുമലയിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ തനിച്ചു അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: ഇവയെല്ലാം എപ്പോൾ സംഭവിക്കും എന്നും നിന്റെ വരവിനും ലോകാവസാനത്തിനും അടയാളം എന്ത് എന്നും പറഞ്ഞുതരേണം എന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു. (aiōn g165)
As he sat upon the Mount of Olives his disciples addressed him privately, saying, Tell us, when will this happen; and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the conclusion of this state? (aiōn g165)
Jesus answering, said to them, Take heed that no man seduce you:
for many will assume my character, saying, I am the Messiah, and will seduce many.
6 ൬ നിങ്ങൾ യുദ്ധങ്ങളെയും യുദ്ധവിവരങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചുകേൾക്കും; ചഞ്ചലപ്പെടാതിരിപ്പാൻ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ളുവിൻ; അത് സംഭവിക്കേണ്ടത് തന്നേ; എന്നാൽ അത് അവസാനമല്ല;
Nay, you shall hear of wars, and rumors of wars; but take care that you be not alarmed: for all these things must happen; but the end is not yet.
For nation will arise against nation; and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in sundry places.
Yet these are but the prelude of woes.
9 ൯ അന്ന് അവർ നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദ്രവത്തിന് ഏല്പിക്കുകയും കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്യും; എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം സകലജാതികളും നിങ്ങളെ പകയ്ക്കും.
For they will deliver you to torments and to death, and you shall be hated by all nations on my account.
Then many will be ensnared, and will betray their fellows, and hate them.
And many false prophets will arise, who will seduce many.
And because vice will abound, the love of the greater number will cool.
But the man who perseveres to the end shall be saved.
14 ൧൪ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ഈ സുവിശേഷം സകലജാതികൾക്കും സാക്ഷ്യമായി ഭൂലോകത്തിൽ ഒക്കെയും പ്രസംഗിക്കപ്പെടും; അപ്പോൾ അവസാനം വരും.
And this gospel of the Reign shall be published through all the world, for the information of all nations. And then shall come the end.
15 ൧൫ അതുകൊണ്ട് ദാനീയേൽ പ്രവാചകൻമുഖാന്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ശൂന്യമാക്കുന്ന മ്ലേച്ഛത വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്ത് നില്ക്കുന്നതു നിങ്ങൾ കാണുമ്പോൾ - വായിക്കുന്നവൻ ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊള്ളട്ടെ -
When, therefore, you shall see, on holy ground, the desolating abomination foretold by the Prophet Daniel, (reader, attend!)
then let those in Judea flee to the mountains:
let not him, who shall be upon the housetop, come down to carry things out of his house;
and let not him, who shall be in the field, return to take his mantle.
But alas for the women with child, and for them that give suck in those days!
Pray, therefore, that your flight happen not in the winter, nor on a Sabbath;
21 ൨൧ ലോകാരംഭം മുതൽ ഇന്നുവരെയും സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്തതും ഇനി മേൽ സംഭവിക്കാത്തതും ആയ വലിയ പീഢനം അന്ന് ഉണ്ടാകും.
because there shall be then so great tribulation, as has not been since the beginning of the world until now, nor shall be ever after.
22 ൨൨ ആ നാളുകളുടെ എണ്ണം കുറയാതിരുന്നാൽ ഒരു ജഡവും രക്ഷിയ്ക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല; തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ നിമിത്തമോ ആ നാളുകളുടെ എണ്ണം കുറയും.
For, if the time were protracted, no soul could survive; but for the sake of the elect, the time will be short.
If any man shall say to you then, Lo! the Messiah is here, or he is there, believe it not:
24 ൨൪ കള്ള ക്രിസ്തുക്കളും കള്ളപ്രവാചകന്മാരും വന്ന് കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെയും തെറ്റിപ്പാനായി വലിയ അടയാളങ്ങളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും കാണിയ്ക്കും.
for false Messiahs and false prophets will arise, who will perform great wonders and prodigies, so as to seduce, if possible, the elect themselves.
Remember, I have warned you.
26 ൨൬ ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങളോടു: അതാ, ക്രിസ്തു മരുഭൂമിയിൽ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെടരുത്; ഇതാ, അവൻ അറകളിൽ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ വിശ്വസിക്കരുത്.
Wherefore, if they say, He is in the desert, go not out. He is in the closet, believe it not.
For the coming of the Son of Man shall be like lightning, which breaking forth from the east, shines even to the west.
For wheresoever the carcass is, the eagles will be gathered together.
29 ൨൯ ആ കാലത്തിലെ വലിയ പീഢനം കഴിഞ്ഞ ഉടനെ സൂര്യൻ ഇരുണ്ടുപോകും; ചന്ദ്രൻ അതിന്റെ പ്രകാശം കൊടുക്കാതിരിക്കും; നക്ഷത്രങ്ങൾ ആകാശത്തുനിന്ന് വീഴും; ആകാശത്തിലെ ശക്തികൾ ഇളകും.
Immediately after those days of affliction, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall withhold her light; and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the heavenly powers shall be shaken.
30 ൩൦ അപ്പോൾ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ അടയാളം ആകാശത്ത് പ്രകടമാകും; അന്ന് ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലഗോത്രങ്ങളും മാറത്തടിച്ചും കൊണ്ട്, മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ ആകാശത്തിലെ മേഘങ്ങളിന്മേൽ ശക്തിയോടും മഹാതേജസ്സോടും കൂടെ വരുന്നത് കാണും.
Then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and all the tribes of the land shall mourn, when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with great majesty and power.
31 ൩൧ അവൻ തന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരെ മഹാ കാഹളധ്വനിയോടുംകൂടെ അയയ്ക്കും; അവർ അവന്റെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെ ആകാശത്തിന്റെ ഒരറ്റംമുതൽ മറ്റെ അറ്റംവരെയും നാല് ദിക്കിൽനിന്നും കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കും.
And he will send his messengers with a loud sounding trumpet, who shall assemble his elect from the four quarters of the earth, from one extremity of the world to the other.
32 ൩൨ അത്തിയെ നോക്കി ഒരു ഉപമ പഠിപ്പിൻ; അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പ് ഇളതായി ഇല തളിർക്കുമ്പോൾ വേനൽ അടുത്തു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.
Learn now a similitude from the fig tree. When its branches become tender and put forth leaves, you know that summer is nigh.
33 ൩൩ അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ ഇതു ഒക്കെയും കാണുമ്പോൾ അവൻ അടുക്കെ പ്രവേശനകവാടത്തിൽ തന്നേ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ.
In like manner, when you shall see all these things, know that he is near, even at the door.
Indeed, I say to you, this race shall not pass, until all these things happen.
Heaven and earth shall fail; but my words shall never fail.
36 ൩൬ ആ ദിവസമോ സമയമോ സംബന്ധിച്ച് എന്റെ പിതാവ് മാത്രമല്ലാതെ ആരും സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലെ ദൂതന്മാരും പുത്രനും കൂടെ അറിയുന്നില്ല.
But of that day, and that hour, know none, but the Father; no, not the angels.
Now that which happened in Noah's time, will also happen at the coming of the Son of Man.
38 ൩൮ ജലപ്രളയത്തിന് മുമ്പുള്ള കാലത്ത് നോഹ പെട്ടകത്തിൽ കയറിയ നാൾവരെ അവർ തിന്നും കുടിച്ചും വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചും വിവാഹത്തിന് കൊടുത്തും പോന്നു;
For as in the days before the flood, even to that day that Noah entered the ark, they were eating and drinking, and marrying,
39 ൩൯ ജലപ്രളയം വന്നു എല്ലാവരെയും നീക്കിക്കളയുവോളം അവർ ഒന്നും അറിഞ്ഞതുമില്ല; മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ വരവും അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ ആകും.
and suspected nothing, until the flood came and swept them all away: so shall it also be at the coming of the Son of Man.
Two men shall be in the field; one shall be taken, and one shall be left.
41 ൪൧ രണ്ടു സ്ത്രീകൾ ഒരു തിരികല്ലിൽ പൊടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും; ഒരുവളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും, മറ്റവളെ തള്ളിക്കളയും.
Two women shall be grinding at the mill; one shall be taken, and one shall be left.
42 ൪൨ അതുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളെ തന്നെ സൂക്ഷിപ്പിൻ, കാരണം നിങ്ങളുടെ കർത്താവ് ഏത് ദിവസം വരും എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ
Watch, therefore, since you know not at what hour your master will come.
43 ൪൩ കള്ളൻ വരുന്നസമയം എപ്പോൾ എന്നു വീട്ടുടയവൻ അറിഞ്ഞ് എങ്കിൽ അവൻ ഉണർന്നിരിക്കുകയും തന്റെ വീട് മുറിച്ചു കടക്കാതിരിക്കുവാൻ സമ്മതിക്കാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.
You are sure, that if the householder knew at what time of the night the thief would come, he would watch, and not suffer him to break into his house.
Be you, therefore, always prepared; because the Son of Man will come at an hour, when you are not expecting him.
45 ൪൫ എന്നാൽ യജമാനൻ തന്റെ വീട്ടുകാർക്ക് തത്സമയത്ത് ഭക്ഷണം കൊടുക്കണ്ടതിന് അവരുടെ മേൽ ആക്കിവെച്ച വിശ്വസ്തനും ബുദ്ധിമാനും ആയ ദാസൻ ആർ?
Who, now, is the discreet and faithful servant, whom his master has set over his household, to dispense to them regularly their allowance?
Happy that servant, if his master, at his return, find him so employed.
47 ൪൭ അവൻ അവനെ തനിക്കുള്ള സകലത്തിന്മേലും യജമാനൻ ആക്കിവെക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ട് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
Indeed, I say to you, he will intrust him with the management of all his estate.
But as to the vicious servant, who shall say within himself, My master defers his return,
and shall beat his fellow-servants, and feast and carouse with drunkards;
the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not expecting him, and at an hour of which he is not apprised,
51 ൫൧ അവനെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിച്ച് അവന്റെ അവസാനം കപടഭക്തിക്കാരുടേതുപോലെ ആക്കും; അവിടെ കരച്ചിലും പല്ലുകടിയും ഉണ്ടാകും.
and having discarded him, will assign him his portion among the perfidious. Weeping and gnashing of teeth shall be there.
