മർക്കൊസ് 15
1 ൧ അതികാലത്ത് മുഖ്യപുരോഹിതന്മാരും മൂപ്പന്മാരും ശാസ്ത്രിമാരുമായി ന്യായാധിപസംഘം ഒക്കെയും കൂടി ആലോചിച്ചു. പിന്നെ അവർ യേശുവിനെ ബന്ധിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി പീലാത്തൊസിനെ ഏല്പിച്ചു.
And as soon as ever it was light the chief priests holding a consultation with the elders and scribes, they and the whole sanhedrim, bound Jesus, and carried Him away, and delivered Him to Pilate.
2 ൨ പീലാത്തോസ് അവനോട്: “നീ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ രാജാവോ?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്: “നീ അങ്ങനെ പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
And Pilate asked Him, Art thou the king of the Jews? and He answered It is as thou sayst.
And the chief priests accused Him of many things: but he answered nothing.
4 ൪ പീലാത്തോസ് പിന്നെയും അവനോട് ചോദിച്ചു: “നീ ഒരു ഉത്തരവും പറയുന്നില്ലയോ? ഇതാ, അവർ നിനക്കെതിരെ എന്തെല്ലാം കുറ്റങ്ങൾ ആരോപിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
So Pilate asked Him again, saying, Dost thou answer nothing? See how many things they witness against thee:
but Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate was amazed.
Now at the feast he used to release to them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired:
7 ൭ എന്നാൽ ഒരു വിപ്ലവത്തിൽ കൊല ചെയ്തവരായ വിപ്ലവക്കാരോടുകൂടെ ബന്ധിച്ചിരുന്ന ബറബ്ബാസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരുവൻ തടവിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
and there was one Barabbas under confinement with some of his accomplices in sedition, who had committed murder in the insurrection.
And the people clamoured and desired him to do as he always used to do for them.
But Pilate answered them, saying, Would ye have me release to you the king of the Jews?
(for he knew that the chief priests had delivered Him up to him out of envy: )
11 ൧൧ എന്നാൽ ബറബ്ബാസിനെ വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന് ചോദിപ്പാൻ മുഖ്യപുരോഹിതന്മാർ പുരുഷാരത്തെ ഉത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
but the chief priests incited the people to desire that he would rather release Barabbas to them.
12 ൧൨ പീലാത്തോസ് പിന്നെയും അവരോട്: “എന്നാൽ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ രാജാവ്” എന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ വിളിക്കുന്നവനെ ഞാൻ എന്ത് ചെയ്യേണം?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
And Pilate answered, and said to them again, What then would you have me do with Him, whom ye call king of the Jews?
And they cried out again, Crucify Him.
14 ൧൪ പീലാത്തോസ് അവരോട്: “അവൻ എന്ത് ദോഷം ചെയ്തു?” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ, “അവനെ ക്രൂശിയ്ക്ക” എന്നു അവർ അധികമായി നിലവിളിച്ചു.
But Pilate said unto them, Why, what ill has He done? And they cried out the more vehemently, Crucify Him.
15 ൧൫ പീലാത്തോസ് പുരുഷാരത്തിന് തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുവാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചു ബറബ്ബാസിനെ അവർക്ക് വിട്ടുകൊടുത്തു, യേശുവിനെ ചമ്മട്ടികൊണ്ട് അടിപ്പിച്ച് ക്രൂശിപ്പാൻ ഏല്പിച്ചു.
So Pilate being willing to ingratiate with the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and having scourged Jesus, delivered Him up to be crucified.
And the soldiers led Him away into the hall, which is called the Pretorium; and gathered their whole company together:
and they clad Him in purple, and platted a crown of thorns and put it on his head,
and saluted Him, saying, Hail king of the Jews;
and struck Him on the head with a reed, and spit upon Him, and bowed their knees, and did Him homage.
20 ൨൦ അങ്ങനെ അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ച ശേഷം അവർ രക്താംബരം നീക്കി സ്വന്തവസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ച് അവനെ ക്രൂശിപ്പാൻ കൊണ്ടുപോയി.
And when they had thus abused Him, they took off the purple from Him, and put his own clothes on Him, and brought Him out to crucify Him.
21 ൨൧ അലെക്സന്തരിന്റെയും രൂഫൊസിന്റെയും അപ്പനായ കുറേനക്കാരൻ ശിമോൻ നാട്ടിൻപുറത്തുനിന്ന് വന്നു അതുവഴി പോവുകയായിരുന്നു. യേശുവിന്റെ ക്രൂശ് ചുമപ്പാൻ അവർ അവനെ നിര്‍ബ്ബന്ധിച്ചു.
And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, the father of Alexander and Rufus, as he was passing by, coming out of the country, to carry his cross:
and they brought Him to a place called Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, the place of a scull.
And they offered Him wine mingled with myrrh to drink, but He would not take it.
And when they had fastened Him to the cross, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what each of them should take.
And it was the third hour, when they fixed Him on the cross:
and the title of his charge was written over Him, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
And they crucified two thieves with Him, one on his right hand and one on his left:
so that the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, "And He was numbered with the transgressors."
29 ൨൯ അതുവഴി കടന്നു പോകുന്നവർ തല കുലുക്കിക്കൊണ്ട്: “ഹാ, ഹാ, മന്ദിരം പൊളിച്ച് മൂന്നു നാളുകൊണ്ട് പണിയുന്നവനേ,
And they that passed by reviled Him, shaking their heads and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest, the temple,
and buildest it in three days, save thyself and come down from the cross.
31 ൩൧ അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും മൂപ്പന്മാരും അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ചു: “ഇവൻ മറ്റുള്ളവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു, എന്നാൽ തന്നെത്താൻ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ ഇവന് കഴിയുന്നില്ല” എന്നു പരസ്പരം പറഞ്ഞു.
And the chief priests likewise scoffing at Him among themselves, with the scribes, said, He saved others, Himself He cannot save: let Christ,
32 ൩൨ “നമ്മൾ കണ്ട് വിശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ക്രിസ്തു എന്ന യിസ്രായേൽ രാജാവ് ഇപ്പോൾ ക്രൂശിൽ നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവരട്ടെ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവനോടുകൂടെ ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരും അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ചു.
the king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe in Him. And even they that were crucified with Him, reviled Him.
Now at the sixth hour there was darkness over the whole land, until the ninth hour.
34 ൩൪ ഒമ്പതാംമണി നേരത്ത് യേശു: “എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, നീ എന്നെ കൈവിട്ടത് എന്ത്?” എന്നു അർത്ഥമുള്ള “എലോഹീ, എലോഹീ ലമ്മാ ശബ്ബക്താനീ” എന്നു അത്യുച്ചത്തിൽ നിലവിളിച്ചു.
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani," which is being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
And some of them that stood by hearing it, said, Behold He calleth upon Elias.
36 ൩൬ ഒരുവൻ ഓടി ഒരു സ്പോങ്ങിൽ പുളിച്ച വീഞ്ഞ് നിറച്ച് ഒരു ഓടക്കോലിന്മേലാക്കി: “ഏലിയാവ് അവനെ ഇറക്കുവാൻ വരുമോ എന്നു നമുക്കു കാണാം” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവന് കുടിക്കുവാൻ കൊടുത്തു.
And there ran one, and filled a spunge with vinegar, and putting it on a reed offered it Him to drink, saying, Let Him alone, let us see whether Elias will come to take Him down.
But Jesus cried with a loud voice and expired.
And the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom.
39 ൩൯ അവന് എതിരെ നിന്നിരുന്ന ശതാധിപൻ അവൻ ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രാണനെ വിട്ടതു കണ്ടിട്ട്: “ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ദൈവപുത്രൻ ആയിരുന്നു സത്യം” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
And when the centurion, that stood over against Him, saw that He expired with such a cry, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
40 ൪൦ സ്ത്രീകളും ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന് നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; അവരിൽ മഗ്ദലക്കാരത്തി മറിയയും ഇളയ യാക്കോബിന്റെയും യോസെയുടെയും അമ്മ മറിയയും ശലോമയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
There were also women at a distance looking on: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
41 ൪൧ അവൻ ഗലീലയിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ അവനെ അനുഗമിച്ചും ശുശ്രൂഷിച്ചും പോന്നു; അവനോടുകൂടെ യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു വന്ന മറ്റു സ്ത്രീകളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
who also when He was in Galilee, followed Him and waited on Him: and several others who came up to Jerusalem with Him.
And the evening being now come, (because it was the preparation,
43 ൪൩ ആലോചനാസമിതിയിലെ ബഹുമാന്യനായ ഒരംഗവും, ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെ കാത്തിരുന്നവനുമായ അരിമത്ഥ്യയിലെ യോസഫ് ധൈര്യത്തോടെ പീലാത്തോസിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്ന് യേശുവിന്റെ ശരീരം ചോദിച്ചു.
or the day before the sabbath, ) Joseph of Arimathea, an honorable counsellor, who also was expecting the kingdom of God, came and went in boldly to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.
44 ൪൪ അവൻ മരിച്ചുകഴിഞ്ഞുവോ എന്നു പീലാത്തോസ് ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു ശതാധിപനെ വിളിച്ചു: യേശു മരിച്ചുവോ എന്നു അന്വേഷിച്ചു.
But Pilate wondered that He was dead already, and therefore calling for the centurion he asked him if He had been dead any time:
and when he heard it from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
46 ൪൬ അവൻ ഒരു ശീല വാങ്ങി അവനെ കുരിശിൽനിന്ന് താഴെയിറക്കി ശീലയിൽ ചുറ്റിപ്പൊതിഞ്ഞു, പാറയിൽ വെട്ടിയിട്ടുള്ള ഒരു കല്ലറയിൽ വെച്ച്, കല്ലറവാതില്ക്കൽ ഒരു കല്ല് ഉരുട്ടിവച്ചു;
And he bought fine linen, and took Him down, and wrapped Him in the linen, and laid Him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock; and rolled a stone to the door of the sepulchre.
And Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of Joses observed where He was laid.
