യെശയ്യാവ് 66
1 ൧ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “സ്വർഗ്ഗം എന്റെ സിംഹാസനവും ഭൂമി എന്റെ പാദപീഠവും ആകുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്ക് പണിയുന്ന ആലയം ഏതുവിധം? എന്റെ വിശ്രാമസ്ഥലവും ഏത്?
Thus says the Lord, Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what kind of a house will you build me? and of what kind [is to be] the place of my rest?
2 ൨ എന്റെ കൈ ഇതൊക്കെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; അങ്ങനെയാകുന്നു ഇതെല്ലാം ഉളവായത്” എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; “എങ്കിലും എളിയവനും മനസ്സു തകർന്നവനും എന്റെ വചനത്തിങ്കൽ വിറയ്ക്കുന്നവനുമായ മനുഷ്യനെ ഞാൻ കടാക്ഷിക്കും.
For all these things are mine, says the Lord: and to whom will I have respect, but to the humble and meek, and the [man] that trembles [at] my words?
3 ൩ കാളയെ അറുക്കുകയും മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ, കുഞ്ഞാടിനെ യാഗം കഴിക്കുകയും നായുടെ കഴുത്ത് ഒടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ, ഭോജനയാഗം കഴിക്കുകയും പന്നിച്ചോര അർപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ, ധൂപം കാണിക്കുകയും മിഥ്യാമൂർത്തിയെ വാഴ്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ, ഇവർ സ്വന്തവഴികളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും അവരുടെ മനസ്സ് മ്ലേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളിൽ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാനും അവരെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നതു തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത്
But the transgressor that sacrifices a calf to me, is as he that kills a dog; and he that offers fine flour, as [one that offers] swine's blood; he that gives frankincense for a memorial, is as a blasphemer. Yet they have chosen their own ways, and their soul has delighted in their abominations.
4 ൪ അവർ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നത് അവർക്കും വരുത്തും; ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപ്പോൾ ആരും ഉത്തരം പറയാതെയും ഞാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ കേൾക്കാതെയും അവർ എനിക്ക് അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്ത് എനിക്ക് പ്രസാദമല്ലാത്തതു തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ”.
I also will choose their mockeries, and will recompense their sins upon them; because I called them, and they did not listen to me; I spoke, and they heard not: and they did evil before me, and chose the things wherein I delighted not.
5 ൫ യഹോവയുടെ വചനത്തിങ്കൽ വിറയ്ക്കുന്നവരേ, അവന്റെ വചനം കേട്ടുകൊള്ളുവിൻ; “നിങ്ങളെ പകച്ച്, എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം നിങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കിക്കളയുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ: ‘ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തോഷം കണ്ടു രസിക്കേണ്ടതിനു യഹോവ സ്വയം മഹത്ത്വീകരിക്കട്ടെ’ എന്നു പറയുന്നുവല്ലോ; എന്നാൽ അവർ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകും”.
Hear the words of the Lord, you that tremble at his word; speak you, our brethren, to them that hate you and abominate you, that the name of the Lord may be glorified, and may appear their joy; but they shall be ashamed.
6 ൬ നഗരത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഒരു മുഴക്കം കേൾക്കുന്നു; മന്ദിരത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഒരു നാദം കേൾക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളോടു പകരംവീട്ടുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ നാദം തന്നെ.
A voice of a cry from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord rendering recompence to [his] adversaries.
Before she that travailed brought forth, before the travail-pain came on, she escaped [it] and brought forth a male.
8 ൮ ഈ വക ആര് കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ളു? ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളതു ആര് കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ളു? ഒരു ദേശം ഒരു ദിവസംകൊണ്ട് പിറക്കുമോ? ഒരു ജനത ഒന്നായിട്ടുതന്നെ ജനിക്കുമോ? സീയോൻ, നോവുകിട്ടിയ ഉടൻ തന്നെ മക്കളെ പ്രസവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
Who has heard such a thing? and who has seen after this manner? Has the earth travailed in one day? or has even a nation been born at once, that Sion has travailed, and brought forth her children?
9 ൯ ഞാൻ പ്രസവദ്വാരത്തിങ്കൽ വരുത്തിയിട്ടു പ്രസവിപ്പിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കുമോ?” എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; “പ്രസവിക്കുമാറാക്കിയിട്ടു ഞാൻ ഗർഭപാത്രം അടച്ചുകളയുമോ?” എന്നു നിന്റെ ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
But I have raised this expectation, yet you have not remembered me, says the Lord: behold, have not I made the bearing and barren woman? says your God.
10 ൧൦ യെരൂശലേമിനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന ഏവരുമായുള്ളവരേ, അവളോടുകൂടി സന്തോഷിക്കുവിൻ അവളെച്ചൊല്ലി ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കുവിൻ; അവളെച്ചൊല്ലി ദുഃഖിക്കുന്ന ഏവരുമായുള്ളവരേ, അവളോടുകൂടി അത്യന്തം ആനന്ദിക്കുവിൻ.
Rejoice, O Jerusalem, and all you that love her hold in her a general assembly: rejoice greatly with her, all that [now] mourn over her:
11 ൧൧ അവളുടെ സാന്ത്വനസ്തനങ്ങളെ പാനംചെയ്തു തൃപ്തരാകുകയും അവളുടെ തേജസ്സിൻ കുചാഗ്രങ്ങളെ നുകർന്നു രമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുവിൻ.
that you may suck, and be satisfied with the breast of her consolation; that you may milk out, and delight yourselves with the influx of her glory.
12 ൧൨ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “നിങ്ങൾക്ക് കുടിക്കുവാൻവേണ്ടി ഞാൻ അവൾക്കു നദിപോലെ സമാധാനവും കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്ന തോടുപോലെ ജാതികളുടെ മഹത്ത്വവും നീട്ടിക്കൊടുക്കും; നിങ്ങളെ എളിയിൽ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ട് നടക്കുകയും മുഴങ്കാലിന്മേൽ ഇരുത്തി ലാളിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
For thus says the Lord, Behold, I turn toward them as a river of peace, and as a torrent bringing upon them in a flood the glory of the Gentiles: their children shall be borne upon the shoulders, and comforted on the knees.
13 ൧൩ അമ്മ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ യെരൂശലേമിൽ ആശ്വാസം പ്രാപിക്കും”.
As if his mother should comfort one, so will I also comfort you; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
14 ൧൪ അത് കണ്ടിട്ട് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ അസ്ഥികൾ ഇളമ്പുല്ലുപോലെ തഴയ്ക്കും; യഹോവയുടെ കൈ തന്റെ ദാസന്മാർക്ക് വെളിപ്പെടും; ശത്രുക്കളോട് അവൻ ക്രോധം കാണിക്കും.
And you shall see, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall thrive like grass: and the hand of the Lord shall be known to them that fear him, and he shall threaten the disobedient.
15 ൧൫ യഹോവ തന്റെ കോപത്തെ ഉഗ്രതയോടും തന്റെ ശാസനയെ അഗ്നിജ്വാലകളോടുംകൂടി നടത്തുവാൻ അഗ്നിയിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷമാകും; അവന്റെ രഥങ്ങൾ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുപോലെ ആയിരിക്കും.
For, behold, the Lord will come as fire, and his chariots as a storm, to render his vengeance with wrath, and his rebuke with a flame of fire.
16 ൧൬ യഹോവ അഗ്നികൊണ്ടും വാൾകൊണ്ടും സകലജഡത്തോടും വ്യവഹരിക്കും; യഹോവയാൽ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ വളരെ ആയിരിക്കും.
For with the fire of the Lord all the earth shall be judged, and all flesh with his sword: many shall be slain by the Lord.
17 ൧൭ “തോട്ടങ്ങളിൽ പോകേണ്ടതിനു നടുവിലുള്ളവനെ അനുകരിച്ചു അവരെത്തന്നെ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു വെടിപ്പാക്കുകയും പന്നിയിറച്ചി, അറയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ടവ, ചുണ്ടെലി എന്നിവയെ തിന്നുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവർ ഒരുപോലെ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും” എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves in the gardens, and eat swine's flesh in the porches, and the abominations, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says the Lord.
18 ൧൮ “ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെയും വിചാരങ്ങളെയും അറിയുന്നു; ഞാൻ സകലജനതകളെയും ഭാഷക്കാരെയും ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂട്ടുന്ന കാലം വരുന്നു; അവർ വന്ന് എന്റെ മഹത്ത്വം കാണും.
And I [know] their works and their imagination. I am going to gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
19 ൧൯ ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു അടയാളം പ്രവർത്തിക്കും; അവരിൽ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട ചിലരെ ഞാൻ തർശീശ്, വില്ലാളികളായ പൂൽ, ലൂദ് എന്നിവരും തൂബാൽ യാവാൻ എന്നിവരുമായ ജനതകളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും എന്റെ കീർത്തി കേൾക്കുകയും എന്റെ മഹത്ത്വം കാണുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ദൂരദ്വീപുകളിലേക്കും അയയ്ക്കും; അവർ എന്റെ മഹത്ത്വത്തെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ പ്രസ്താവിക്കും;
And I will leave a sign upon them, and I will send forth them that have escaped of them to the nations, to Tharsis, and Phud, and Lud, and Mosoch, and to Thobel, and to Greece, and to the isles afar off, to those who have not heard my name, nor seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
20 ൨൦ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു വെടിപ്പുള്ള പാത്രങ്ങളിൽ വഴിപാട് കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ സകലജനതകളുടെയും ഇടയിൽനിന്ന് നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ എല്ലാവരെയും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തും രഥങ്ങളിലും പല്ലക്കുകളിലും കോവർകഴുതപ്പുറത്തും ഒട്ടകപ്പുറത്തും കയറ്റി എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധ പർവ്വതമായ യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു യഹോവയ്ക്കു വഴിപാടായി കൊണ്ടുവരും” എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
And they shall bring your brethren out of all nations for a gift to the Lord with horses, and chariots, in litters [drawn by] mules with awnings, to the holy city Jerusalem, said the Lord, as though the children of Israel should bring their sacrifices to me with psalms into the house of the Lord.
And I will take of them priests and Levites, says the Lord.
22 ൨൨ “ഞാൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന പുതിയ ആകാശവും പുതിയ ഭൂമിയും എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തതിയും നിങ്ങളുടെ പേരും നിലനില്ക്കും” എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
For as the new heaven and the new earth, which I make, remain before me, says the Lord, so shall your seed and your name continue.
23 ൨൩ “പിന്നെ അമാവാസിതോറും ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും സകലജഡവും എന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നമസ്കരിക്കുവാൻ വരും” എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
And it shall come to pass from month to month, and from sabbath to sabbath, [that] all flesh shall come to worship before me in Jerusalem, says the Lord.
24 ൨൪ “അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ചെന്ന്, എന്നോട് അതിക്രമം ചെയ്ത മനുഷ്യരുടെ ശവങ്ങളെ നോക്കും; അവരുടെ പുഴു ചാവുകയില്ല; അവരുടെ തീ കെട്ടുപോകുകയില്ല; അവർ സകലജഡത്തിനും അറപ്പായിരിക്കും”.
And they shall go forth, and see the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, and their fire shall not be quenched; and they shall be a spectacle to all flesh.
