ഉല്പത്തി 5

1 ൧ ആദാമിന്റെ വംശപാരമ്പര്യമാണിത്: ദൈവം മനുഷ്യനെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചപ്പോൾ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സാദൃശ്യത്തിൽ അവനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി; ആണും പെണ്ണുമായി അവരെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു;

This is the book of generacioun of Adam, in the dai wher ynne God made man of nouyt. God made man to the ymage and licnesse of God;

10 ൧൦ കേനാനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം എനോശ് 815 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാർക്കും പുത്രിമാർക്കും ജന്മം നൽകി ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

13 ൧൩ മഹലലേലിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം കേനാൻ 840 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാർക്കും പുത്രിമാർക്കും ജന്മം നൽകി.

And Caynan lyuede after that he gendride Malalehel eiyte hundrid and fourti yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.

14 ൧൪ കേനാന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 910 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.

And alle the dayes of Caynan weren maad nyn hundrid and ten yeer, and he was deed.

15 ൧൫ മഹലലേലിന് 65 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ യാരെദിനു ജന്മം നൽകി.

16 ൧൬ യാരെദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം മഹലലേൽ 830 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാർക്കും പുത്രിമാർക്കും ജന്മം നൽകി.

And Malalehel lyuede aftir that he gendride Jared eiyte hundrid and thretti yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.

17 ൧൭ മഹലലേലിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 895 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.

18 ൧൮ യാരെദിന് 162 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ ഹാനോക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

19 ൧൯ ഹാനോക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം യാരെദ് 800 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

20 ൨൦ യാരെദിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 962 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.

21 ൨൧ ഹാനോക്കിന് 65 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ മെഥൂശലഹിനെ ജന്മം നൽകി.

22 ൨൨ മെഥൂശലഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം ഹാനോക്ക് 300 വർഷം ദൈവത്തോടുകൂടെ നടക്കുകയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

And Enoth yede with God; and Enoth lyuede after that he gendride Matusalem thre hundrid yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.

23 ൨൩ ഹാനോക്കിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 365 വർഷമായിരുന്നു.

And alle the daies of Enoth weren maad thre hundride and fyue and sexti yeer.

24 ൨൪ ഹാനോക്ക് ദൈവത്തോടുകൂടെ നടന്നു, ദൈവം അവനെ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടതിനാൽ കാണാതെയായി.

And Enoth yeed with God, and apperide not afterward, for God took hym awei.

25 ൨൫ മെഥൂശലഹിന് 187 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ ലാമെക്കിനു ജന്മം നൽകി

Also Matusalem lyuede an hundrid and `fourscoor yeer and seuene, and gendride Lameth.

26 ൨൬ ലാമെക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം മെഥൂശലഹ് 782 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാർക്കും പുത്രിമാർക്കും ജന്മം നൽകി.

And Matusalem lyuede after that he gendride Lameth seuene hundrid and `fourscoor yeer and twei, and gendride sones and douytris.

27 ൨൭ മെഥൂശലഹിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 969 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.

And alle the daies of Matusale weren maad nyn hundrid and nyn and sixti yeer, and he was deed.

28 ൨൮ ലാമെക്കിന് 182 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ ഒരു മകനു ജന്മം നൽകി.

Forsothe Lameth lyuede an hundrid and `fourscoor yeer and two, and gendride a sone;

29 ൨൯ “യഹോവ ശപിച്ച ഭൂമിയിൽ നമ്മുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയിലും നമ്മുടെ കൈകളുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനത്തിലും ഇവൻ നമ്മെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് അവന് നോഹ എന്നു പേർ ഇട്ടു.

and clepide his name Noe, and seide, This man schal comforte vs of the werkis and traueilis of oure hondis, in the loond which the Lord curside.

30 ൩൦ നോഹയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം ലാമെക്ക് 595 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

31 ൩൧ ലാമെക്കിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 777 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.

And alle the daies of Lameth weren maad seuene hundrid `thre scoor and seuentene yeer, and he was deed.

32 ൩൨ നോഹയ്ക്ക് 500 വയസ്സായശേഷം നോഹ ശേമിനെയും ഹാമിനെയും യാഫെത്തിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

Forsothe Noe whanne he was of fyue hundrid yeer gendride Sem, Cham, and Jafeth.
