യെഹെസ്കേൽ 35
Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 ൨ “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സെയീർപർവ്വതത്തിനു നേരെ മുഖംതിരിച്ച് അതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് പ്രവചിച്ച് അതിനോട് പറയേണ്ടത്:
Son of man, set your face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,
3 ൩ ‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “സെയീർപർവ്വതമേ, ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്റെനേരെ കൈ നീട്ടി നിന്നെ പാഴും ശൂന്യവുമാക്കും.
And say to it, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against you, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you most desolate.
I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate, and you shall know that I am the LORD.
5 ൫ നീ പുരാതനശത്രുത്വം പുലർത്തി, യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്റെ അന്ത്യശിക്ഷാകാലമായ അവരുടെ ആപത്തുകാലത്ത്, അവരെ വാളിന് ഏല്പിച്ചുവല്ലോ.
Because you have had a perpetual hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:
6 ൬ അതുകൊണ്ട്: എന്നാണ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ രക്തച്ചൊരിച്ചിലിന് ഏല്പിക്കുകയും രക്തം നിന്നെ പിന്തുടരുകയും ചെയ്യും; രക്തം നീ വെറുക്കാതിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട്, രക്തം നിന്നെ പിന്തുടരും എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
Therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, I will prepare you to blood, and blood shall pursue you: since you have not hated blood, even blood shall pursue you.
7 ൭ അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ സെയീർപർവ്വതത്തെ പാഴും ശൂന്യവുമാക്കി, അതിൽക്കൂടി കടന്നുപോകുന്നവരെ അതിൽ നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.
Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passes out and him that returns.
8 ൮ ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ മലകളെ നിഹതന്മാരെക്കൊണ്ടു നിറയ്ക്കും; നിന്റെ കുന്നുകളിലും താഴ്വരകളിലും നിന്റെ സകലനദികളിലും വാളാൽ നിഹതന്മാരായവർ വീഴും.
And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in your hills, and in your valleys, and in all your rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.
9 ൯ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ശാശ്വതശൂന്യങ്ങളാക്കും; നിന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ നിവാസികൾ ഇല്ലാതെയിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.
I will make you perpetual desolations, and your cities shall not return: and you shall know that I am the LORD.
10 ൧൦ യഹോവ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ: ‘ഈ ജനതകൾ രണ്ടും ഈ ദേശങ്ങൾ രണ്ടും എനിക്കുള്ളവയാകും; ഞങ്ങൾ അത് കൈവശമാക്കും’ എന്ന് നീ പറഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ട്
Because you have said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:
11 ൧൧ എന്നാണ, നീ അവരോടു നിന്റെ വിദ്വേഷം ഹേതുവായി കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കോപത്തിനും അസൂയയ്ക്കും ഒത്തവിധം ഞാനും പ്രവർത്തിക്കും; ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് ന്യായം വിധിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ എന്നെത്തന്നെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
Therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, I will even do according to your anger, and according to your envy which you have used out of your hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged you.
12 ൧൨ “‘യിസ്രായേൽപർവ്വതങ്ങൾ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇരയായി നല്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു’ എന്നിങ്ങനെ അവയെക്കുറിച്ച് നീ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ദൂഷണങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് നീ അറിയും.
And you shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.
13 ൧൩ നിങ്ങൾ വായ്കൊണ്ട് എന്റെ നേരെ വമ്പുപറഞ്ഞ് എനിക്ക് വിരോധമായി നിങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കുകളെ വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; ഞാൻ അത് കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു”.
Thus with your mouth you have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.
14 ൧൪ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “സർവ്വഭൂമിയും സന്തോഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും.
Thus says the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.
15 ൧൫ യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അവകാശം ശൂന്യമായതിൽ നീ സന്തോഷിച്ചുവല്ലോ; ഞാൻ നിന്നോടും അതുപോലെ ചെയ്യും; സെയീർപർവ്വതവും എല്ലാ ഏദോമുമായുള്ളവയേ, നീ ശൂന്യമായിത്തീരും; ഞാൻ യഹോവയെന്ന് അവർ അറിയും”.
As you did rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do to you: you shall be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
