യെഹെസ്കേൽ 34
The word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 ൨ “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഇടയന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിക്കുക; നീ പ്രവചിച്ച് അവരോട്, ഇടയന്മാരോടു തന്നെ, പറയേണ്ടത്: ‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അവരവരെത്തന്നെ മേയിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഇടയന്മാർക്ക് അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! ആടുകളെ അല്ലയോ ഇടയന്മാർ മേയിക്കേണ്ടത്?
"Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and tell them, even to the shepherds, 'Thus says the LORD: "Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves. Shouldn't the shepherds feed the sheep?
3 ൩ നിങ്ങൾ മേദസ്സ് തിന്നുകയും ആട്ടുരോമം ധരിക്കുകയും തടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവയെ അറുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; ആടുകളെ നിങ്ങൾ മേയിക്കുന്നില്ലതാനും.
You eat the fat, and you clothe yourself with the wool, you kill the fatlings; but you do not feed the sheep.
4 ൪ നിങ്ങൾ ബലഹീനമായതിനെ ശക്തീകരിക്കുകയോ രോഗം ബാധിച്ചതിനെ ചികിത്സിക്കുകയോ ഒടിഞ്ഞതിനെ മുറിവുകെട്ടുകയോ ചിതറിപ്പോയതിനെ തിരിച്ചുവരുത്തുകയോ കാണാതെപോയതിനെ അന്വേഷിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ, കഠിനതയോടും ക്രൂരതയോടും കൂടെ അവയെ ഭരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
You haven't strengthened the diseased, neither have you healed that which was sick, neither have you bound up that which was broken, neither have you brought back that which was driven away, neither have you sought that which was lost; but with force and with rigor you have ruled over them.
5 ൫ ഇടയൻ ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കുകയാൽ അവ ചിതറിപ്പോയി; ചിതറിപ്പോയിട്ട് അവ കാട്ടിലെ സകലമൃഗങ്ങൾക്കും ഇരയായിത്തീർന്നു.
They were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food to all the animals of the field.
6 ൬ എന്റെ ആടുകൾ എല്ലാമലകളിലും ഉയരമുള്ള എല്ലാ കുന്നിന്മേലും അലഞ്ഞുനടന്നു; ഭൂതലത്തിൽ എല്ലായിടവും എന്റെ ആടുകൾ ചിതറിപ്പോയി; ആരും അവയെ തിരയുകയോ അന്വേഷിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.
My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill: yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth; and there was none who searched or sought."'
"'"Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:
8 ൮ എന്നാണ, ഇടയനില്ലാഞ്ഞതിനാലാകുന്നു എന്റെ ആടുകൾ കവർച്ചയായിപ്പോകുകയും, കാട്ടിലെ സകലമൃഗത്തിനും ഇരയായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്തത്” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്; എന്റെ ഇടയന്മാർ എന്റെ ആടുകളെ അന്വേഷിക്കാതെ അവരവരെത്തന്നെ മേയിക്കുകയും ആടുകളെ മേയിക്കാതെയിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുകകൊണ്ട്,
'As I live,' says the LORD, 'surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the animals of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and didn't feed my sheep';
therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:
10 ൧൦ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ‘ഞാൻ ഇടയന്മാർക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആടുകളെ അവരുടെ കൈയിൽനിന്നു ചോദിച്ച്, ആടുകളെ മേയിക്കുന്ന വേലയിൽനിന്ന് അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളയും; ഇടയന്മാർ ഇനി തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ മേയിക്കുകയില്ല; എന്റെ ആടുകൾ അവർക്ക് ഇരയാകാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞാൻ അവയെ അവരുടെ വായിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും”.
Thus says the LORD: 'Look, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.'"
"'For thus says the LORD: "Look, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out.
12 ൧൨ ഒരു ഇടയൻ ചിതറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന തന്റെ ആടുകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന നാളിൽ, തന്റെ ആട്ടിൻകൂട്ടത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആടുകളെ അന്വേഷിച്ച്, കാർമേഘവും അന്ധകാരവുമുള്ള ദിവസത്തിൽ, അവ ചിതറിപ്പോയ സകലസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലുംനിന്ന് അവയെ വിടുവിക്കും.
As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
13 ൧൩ ഞാൻ അവയെ ജനതകളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ച്, ദേശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു ശേഖരിച്ച്, സ്വദേശത്ത് കൊണ്ടുവന്ന്, യിസ്രായേൽമലകളിലും നദീതീരങ്ങളിലും ദേശത്തിലെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും മേയിക്കും.
I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
14 ൧൪ നല്ല മേച്ചിൽപുറത്തു ഞാൻ അവയെ മേയിക്കും; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഉയർന്ന മലകളിൽ അവ കിടക്കും; അവിടെ അവനല്ല തൊഴുത്തുകളിൽ കിടക്കുകയും യിസ്രായേൽമലകളിലെ പുഷ്ടിയുള്ള മേച്ചിൽപുറത്തു മേയുകയും ചെയ്യും.
I will feed them with good pasture; and on the mountains of the height of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie down in a good fold; and on fat pasture shall they feed on the mountains of Israel.
15 ൧൫ ഞാൻ തന്നെ എന്റെ ആടുകളെ മേയിക്കുകയും കിടത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down," says the LORD.
16 ൧൬ “കാണാതെപോയതിനെ ഞാൻ അന്വേഷിക്കുകയും, ഓടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതിനെ തിരിച്ചുവരുത്തുകയും, ഒടിഞ്ഞതിനെ മുറിവുകെട്ടുകയും, രോഗം ബാധിച്ചതിനെ ശക്തീകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും; എന്നാൽ കൊഴുത്തതിനെയും കരുത്തുള്ളതിനെയും ഞാൻ നശിപ്പിക്കും; ഞാൻ ന്യായത്തോടെ അവയെ മേയിക്കും.
"I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but the fat and the strong I will destroy; I will feed them in justice."
17 ൧൭ നിങ്ങളോ, എന്റെ ആടുകളേ,” യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ ആടിനും ആടിനും നടുവിലും ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്മാർക്കും കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്മാർക്കും നടുവിലും ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്നു.
"'As for you, O my flock, thus says the LORD: "Look, I judge between sheep and sheep, the rams and the male goats.
18 ൧൮ നിങ്ങൾ നല്ല സ്ഥലത്തു മേഞ്ഞശേഷം, മേച്ചിലിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പ് കാൽ കൊണ്ട് ചവിട്ടിക്കളയുന്നതും, തെളിഞ്ഞവെള്ളം കുടിച്ചിട്ട് ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളത് കാൽ കൊണ്ട് കലക്കിക്കളയുന്നതും നിങ്ങൾക്ക് പോരായോ?
Does it seem a small thing to you to have fed on the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture? And to have drunk of the clear waters, but you must foul the residue with your feet?
19 ൧൯ നിങ്ങൾ കാൽ കൊണ്ട് ചവിട്ടിയത് എന്റെ ആടുകൾ തിന്നുകയും, നിങ്ങൾ കാൽ കൊണ്ട് കലക്കിയത് അവ കുടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യണമോ?”
As for my sheep, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet, and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet."
20 ൨൦ അതുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് അവയോട് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ തന്നെ തടിച്ച ആടുകൾക്കും മെലിഞ്ഞ ആടുകൾക്കും മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ ന്യായംവിധിക്കും.
"'Therefore thus says the LORD to them: "Look, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.
21 ൨൧ രോഗം ബാധിച്ചവയെ പാർശ്വംകൊണ്ടും തോൾകൊണ്ടും ഉന്തിയും, കൊമ്പുകൊണ്ട് ഇടിച്ചും അവയെ ചുറ്റും ചിതറിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ,
Because you thrust with side and with shoulder, and push all the diseased with your horns, until you have scattered them abroad;
22 ൨൨ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആട്ടിൻകൂട്ടത്തെ രക്ഷിക്കും; അവ ഇനി ഇരയായിത്തീരുകയില്ല; ഞാൻ ആടിനും ആടിനും മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ ന്യായംവിധിക്കും.
therefore I will save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.
23 ൨൩ അവയെ മേയിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞാൻ ഒരു ഇടയനെ അവക്കായി നിയമിക്കും; എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനെ തന്നെ; അവൻ അവയെ മേയിച്ച്, അവയ്ക്ക് ഇടയനായിരിക്കും.
I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
24 ൨൪ അങ്ങനെ യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അവർക്ക് ദൈവവും എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദ് അവരുടെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ പ്രഭുവും ആയിരിക്കും; യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അത് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
I, the LORD, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them;" I, the LORD, have spoken it.
25 ൨൫ ഞാൻ അവയോട് ഒരു സമാധാനനിയമം ചെയ്ത് ദുഷ്ടമൃഗങ്ങളെ ദേശത്തുനിന്ന് നീക്കിക്കളയും; അങ്ങനെ അവ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ നിർഭയമായി വസിക്കുകയും കാടുകളിൽ ഉറങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യും.
"'I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
26 ൨൬ ഞാൻ അവയെയും എന്റെ കുന്നിനു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സ്ഥലങ്ങളും ഒരു അനുഗ്രഹമാക്കിവെക്കും; ഞാൻ തക്ക സമയത്തു മഴപെയ്യിക്കും; അത് അനുഗ്രഹകരമായ മഴ ആയിരിക്കും.
I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing.
27 ൨൭ വയലിലെ വൃക്ഷം ഫലം കായിക്കുകയും നിലം നന്നായി വിളയുകയും അവർ അവരുടെ ദേശത്ത് നിർഭയമായി വസിക്കുകയും ഞാൻ അവരുടെ നുകബന്ധനങ്ങൾ പൊട്ടിച്ച്, അവരെക്കൊണ്ടു പണി എടുപ്പിച്ചവരുടെ കൈയിൽനിന്ന് അവരെ വിടുവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്ന് അവർ അറിയും.
The tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them.
28 ൨൮ അവർ ഇനി ജനതകൾക്കു കവർച്ച ആയിത്തീരുകയില്ല; കാട്ടുമൃഗം അവരെ കടിച്ചു കീറുകയില്ല; അവർ നിർഭയമായി വസിക്കും; ആരും അവരെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയുമില്ല.
They shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the animals of the earth devour them; but they shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid.
29 ൨൯ വിളവുകൾക്ക് പ്രശസ്തമായൊരു തോട്ടം ഞാൻ അവർക്ക് നട്ടുണ്ടാക്കും; അവർ ഇനി ദേശത്തു പട്ടിണി കിടന്നു നശിക്കുകയില്ല; ജനതകളുടെ നിന്ദ ഇനി വഹിക്കുകയുമില്ല.
I will raise up to them a plantation for renown, and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land, neither bear the shame of the nations any more.
30 ൩൦ ഇങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്ന ഞാൻ അവരോടുകൂടി ഉണ്ടെന്നും, യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹമായിരിക്കുന്ന അവർ എന്റെ ജനമാകുന്നു എന്നും അവർ അറിയും” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
They shall know that I, the LORD, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people," says the LORD.
31 ൩൧ “എന്നാൽ എന്റെ മേച്ചിൽപുറത്തെ ആടുകളായ, എന്റെ ആടുകളേ, നിങ്ങൾ മനുഷ്യരത്രേ; ഞാനോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
"You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are men, and I am your God," says the LORD.'"
